Its location and name
The fact I paid 50GBP for a hole in the wall + sink. Had to go upstairs to use a shower / toilet. The property is in need of some serious TLC, however Staff were ok. Breakfast was a joke (a few cupcakes). You get much, much more value in Stanley house. Stanley house also has a place to chill and meet others. Complete opposites. I stayed in both over the weekend - trust me don't bother with Enrico.
There were 2 dysfunctional showers and 1 communal toilet. The first shower knob was broken with duck tape, preventing anyone from adjusting the temperature from the fixed scorching hot. The other shower had a broken shower head bracket, therefore you had to hold the sprayer. Could feel the springs in the bed, and found a piece of used chewing gum on the bed frame. Wifii only available in dining room, not in all rooms. Absurdly priced.
- The Wi fi worked well - The hotel staff were honest
- The location isn't exactly good if you want to tour the city - there are many other hotels at better loactions in central london at same tariff
Close to Victoria Station & bus number 24,friendly young lady serving breakfast and additional coffee servings. She offered to lend us a pair of big scales to weigh our luggage, before leaving. We asked for a kettle and immediately they gave us one (too bad it was not working & we had to settle for NO kettle). Sheets were changed once in 7 nights, but it was enough for us. If you are not fussy on breakfast and big spaces, it is good value for money.Overall a good stay.
Rooms too small, one tiny soap in the bathroom between 2 persons. Breakfast everyday the same consisting of the same 3 types of sweet cakes. Wifi in the room very disruptive, you have to go in the breakfast room in order to use it.
- cleanliness - nice staff
- lack of soap in the bathrooms - there was no heating in the evening which made the room cold
Lack of hot water
The location was awesome. 5 minutes to supermarket(Tesco, Sainsburry), a few pub and cafe(Cafe Nero)
Poor breakfast, it's only muffin, banana, and cup of tea or milk. There were two shower, but one of them were out of order. Every service was not free. Printing out was ￡0.3 per one, laundry was ￡6 including dry.
Close to tube and reasonable walk to Buckingham Palace
The bed and facilities were very poor. Staff at breakfast would constantly smoke which stunk out the room and they wouldn't wash hands before serving food. Shower and toilets were disgusting. Very basic accommodation and would only stay here if you plan to spend all your time out. Desperately needs renovations and pest control...saw a mouse run into someone's room.
Location and friendliness of the staff. Room was well heated
In fairness, it was a cheap hotel for the area but the bed was not very comfortable and I had to ask on 3 occasions for extra blankets to place under the mattress so that it did not sag. The breakfast was exactly the same each day - fruit juice, coisant, 2 cakes, a banana and tea/coffee. En suite very small.
the location. the staff are all very nice. especially the lady who does the cleaning.
room and the bathroom are a bit small. a bit noisy when the room faces to the street. no wifi within the room
Hotel is just a short distance from transportation options.
Very helpful staff. It was cleaned every day. Great localisation. Small room, a tiny bathroom
Unfortunately served sweet breakfast with unlimited coffee and tea.
- cheap compared to price - Nicely located in Victoria
- Ignore breakfast
Very affordable price and really close to all major London sight views, so if you aren't too old you can go walking to any place. Cleanness is ok but don't expect too much.
Internet doesn't work in the bedrooms, only in the reception. Carpets everywhere!
location is ok.
There is a bath however no bath plug as the management will not allow you to use it. There are toilets and showers however they are the smallest you've ever seen , dirty you have to ask for toilet paper when required because it would appear everyone in the hotel seems to share them. The bed is the most uncomfortable, cheap and nasty thing you can imagine. Breakfast consisted of a stale croissant, a slice of some kind of maderia/fruit cake, a mini blueberry muffin, a glass of strawberry diluting juice and a cup of tea that to me tasted as if it had been stewed over night all served on a white plastic cheap tray. OH yeah and when i asked the server what kind of fruit juice it was the girl said ' i don't know i don't drink that stuff '. The room had what we thought was frosted glass but we had that wrong turns out it was just dirt. The wardrobe was a coat hook and the chest of drawers was a desk. The room door didn't fully open because the room was so small the bed was in the way. There is no water pressure in any of the sinks i used in my room or in the toilet, a dribble is as good as it gets.Think av covered everything. I would definitely not recommend this hotel. The hotel is cheap and i have stayed in cheap hotels all over the world this however this place is terrible.
Although yes this property is dated we we're really pleased that it was very clean especially the bathroom, the staff we're really friendly and couldn't be more helpful with anything we needed for the baby. It's within walking distance to all the main London sights. We would stay there again if we wanted somewhere cheap clean and very good location :)
Quite dated but can't complain for the money!
The location, very near of Victoria Station Mrs Micaela, the chambermaid, was very very pleasant with us The breakfast was plentiful, but it wasn´t a traditional English breakfast
The hotel is poorly maintained and although it was clean, there were broken things in the room. The double bed was folding bed. It was very cold in the room because the heating was very low and during the night the radiator was cold. The shower curtain had mildew The bathroom was very small There wasn´t Wifi connection in the room and it was necessary to go to the entrance in order to connect Very expensive for the quality that they offer
Location was good, cost was good
Position is ok, walking distance from Victoria station.
The place is a stinky hole. It is freezing cold, old carpet stinks and shower is so hot you can't even put water on your body. The continental breakfast consist of 3 pieces of dry pastry and the staff women complains how busy she is because everyone comes at the same time. It's not like she has to cook it. It is not too dirty it is just so run down that the place makes you feel wrong.
I liked the location of the hotel and that was about it!
My room was so high up in the property I could not access wi-fi - I was three storeys up. Major reason for choosing hotel is whether it is wi-fi or not!!! Room facilities were extremely poor - no hot water from sink within the room. No tea coffee facilities ie no kettle. Shared bathroom facilities were filthy and not in the least desirable after a long journey to get washed in or in morning to get showered in. Really not a good hotel - for the cost - yes I know it is London but basic comfort and hygiene is required. I would have been happier with a hostel for a more appropriate cost!.
Great location. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Heating in rooms was sufficient and there was always hot water in the shower. After the room change we were happy with the new one. Breakfast was ok but I would appreciate tea making facilities in the room.
The first night we got a room with a bunk bed which was terrible - shaky and squeaky. I ended up sleeping on the floor. We asked for a room change and fortunately it was not a problem. I would suggest refurbishing room no. 208 - it would make a great single room.
great location (15min walk from victoria station) really nice staff 2 bathrooms good price and breakfast was included so that's nice free wifi
the shower was broken (good thing there are 2 bathrooms) there were stains on the sheets the sink in the bedroom was clog
location waiting staff
very small room bed quality shared bathrooms not on every floor wifi only in the basement
Hospitality offered by Endrea.
Room was too tiny. TV is just like a laptop in size.
Good Location Friendly staff
