location is ok, not great, but close to where you need to go as a tourist
thin walls, doors and windows, you could hear anything from outside the room, from the street, from the other rooms, etc.; quite dirty, extremely small and uncomfortable room, very light breakfast...there are many hotels in the area, try looking for another one, you'll thank me later
Room size, Bed, central heating system
Thanks to michelle for her warm welcome and smile.
THE LACK OF UPKEEP.
Very reasonable price for the location, train and tube stations quite nearby. Nice staff.
Don't expect anything from the breakfast. The shared bathrooms are only just passable. Most of the doors are damaged, didn't stay closed if not locked. Cleanliness was acceptable but not great.
very friendly and helpfull staff. simple room but clean. not loud
the breakfast wich was included wasnt really a breakfast, but for no paying extra money you will take it as it is.
Staff are friendly. Location is good for 2 -3 days.
Room hasn't a kettle. Breakfast is poor.
The price was reasonable for the central London location.
Building was very old and shabby although the staff made an effort to keep it clean.
not far from the Victoria Underground Station, quite near to the Victoria Coach Station. a big Sainsbury's nearby. the staff are very friendly. 20 minutes' walk to the Buckingham Palace. just to remind that it takes one pound per room to keep the luggages in the hotel if you have already checked out.
no internet except for the ground floor. poor sound-proofing, you can hear the talking of the other rooms. it may be a bit noisy if the window or the balcony faces to the street. the bathroom inside the room is extremely small !
it is not very far from the Victoria underground station, and near to the Victoria Coach Station. 20 minutes' walk to the Buckingham Palace. the staff are very friendly. just to remind that it takes one pound per room to keey the luggage in the hotel if you have already checked out.
no internet except for the ground floor. we found the signal on the second floor, but we could not connect to it. not sound proofing, you can hear the talking of the other rooms. it may be noisy if the window or the balcony faces to the street.
It's near the station
the quality of room is not what I expected
I was going to green Bay coach station 5 minute walk excellent location, Pimlico round the corner, recommend the prince of wales for a drink.
My room was spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. The location was very convenient, near shops, Victoria station and other attractions. Checking in and out was very quick and easy. The staff were friendly enough. Room was warm, with a window I could open. Nice desk.
Stairs everywhere. Very early morning noise, followed by a 7am breakfast. Little signs of disrepair everywhere - my light above the sink didn't work, clock in the hall, clock in the dining room, tiles missing in the toilet - nothing serious but all a bit shabby. My pillow was also like a beanbag(!). LCD screen TV needed tilting to watch it.
Only 150 feet from a very nice pub - the Marquis of Westminster
Shabby and dirty. Checked out after first night, even though we paid for three nights in advance. Too many deficiencies to list is this space - but 2% up-charge for using a non-UK MasterCard, was most irritating. Never happened to me before in Europe.
The location is premium. The price is very reasonable, even for a room without bathroom.
All rooms were supposed to have Internet access, but pretty much half the building was out of the range.
Room was clean and comfy, location is great ja staff friendly and nice
Room is small and the ceiling height is low! Air ventilation is bad making it slightly smelly! Room light is deem! weak wifi inside bedroom!
Awesome location near Victoria Station Quiet location Room and bathroom was clean Comfortable bed Nice staff
Location close to Central London.
Very dirty hotel. Carpets old and neglected, same as the decor. Room disgusting, old put up bed dirty and uncomfortable. One spare plug socket cracked and not working. No tea and coffee facilities. Tiny toilet. Breakfast awful. Nowhere to hang clothes. Tv too small to see from bed. More like a hovel than a hotel.
Location is the only thing I did like about the hotel. All other features are just basics you need when staying in city for visiting it - clean sheets and towels and quite comfortable bed to sleep in and clean bathroom facilities to refresh after long day in city. And just it, don't expect anything more. There were even no wardrobe in my room, just hangers on the wall :)
1) Poor breakfast and the same every morning, I think it would not cost much more for the hotel team to think about guests much more and take effort to prepare a little bit varied meals. 2) Cost and value ratio. But may be pricey accommodation in London is usual way of things...
location was good for Victoria and walking into central london
VERY basic rooms... Z beds. Plug not working hence TV not working. Very thin walls. Poor breakfast.
Location and staff
The location is the only positive side. It' s just 3 minutes from Victoria coach station. It's very convenient if you are arriving there or getting a bus to the airport from there. They also provide you with a travel cot if you tell them in advance.
The rooms are very small and the beds are too short. The mattresses were also very uncomfortable, you could just feel the springs and it was painful. We had to sleep on the blanket and even like this you could feel the springs. They charge you far too much for a room on the grounds that the hotel is located in the centre. They should get new mattreses first and then, perhaps I would be willing to pay their fees.
The location of the hotel - very close to centre and main tourist attractions (by foot) Breakfast is OK especially if you like sweets (didn't get bored of it in 3 days) Cozy room and hallways
It wasn't very much fun washing hands by quickly trying to combine the hot and cold water from the two separate faucets/taps... (but i guess ome can expect that in England) Good thing the shower had only one though :-)
Location is perfect, near the city centre. Nice staff, you can borrow adaptor or kettle for free. The bed was really good and comfortable.
The breakfast is very small, rooms are small too and the walls and everything is quite old. No cupboard.
