Fountain Court Apartments - EQ2  

What a wonderful apartment! Everyone was so helpful and pleasant. The apartment was beautiful and spacious. We all loved it.

One of the single beds was not particularly comfortable - it sloped when you lay on it. However, all other beds were fine.

The location is perfect for a city visit in Edinburgh.

The occupants of one apartment were exteremely noisy from midnight until 4.30 A.M. playing loud music and shouting using bad language. They started again at 9 A.M. and continued until we checked out. If, the night porter made rounds as we were told he would we can't understand why he did nothing about the noise which was loud enough to disturb the entire complex.

I loved my stay here and would love to return again in the near future. I am very happy to reccomend the apartments to any type of family/couple. I Had trouble working the tv on the first night and maintenance were very quick to come and help me and lovely to talk to. Brilliant facilities within the apartment.

I didn't like how all the doors slammed as I was scared my kids would get their fingers trapped. I had half a view of the canal and town that was lovely but the other half was run down flats with people hanging out the window smoking all day!! I know this has nothing to do with the apartments and it wouldn't put me off staying again but it was not very nice to look at. Maybe next time I could request a different view.

We were at Murrayfield to watch a six nations rugby match with our two grandsons. We had a very nice apartment with two bedrooms three TVs and WiFi. We visited the pandas at the Zoo and then Murrayfield and were tired by 8pm and so dined in the apartment although there are excellent restaurants nearby. Edinburgh traffic is impossible so we were grateful for the garage parking in the Apartments and walked everywhere alongside 58,000 other rugby supporters!

Spacious, well equipped apartments. The fixings and furniture were very modern and the apartment was very clean. Couldn't fault it, all you would expect and need from an apartment.

Conveniently placed for the West End/Castle with good local shops and facilities. Secure Parking, Room overlooking the canal basin, good kitchen and bathrooms.

Duvet cover didn'y cover the duvet, bottom sheet not fitted. Consequently, had to remake the bed to remade

The apartment we were eventually allocated has roomy had good facilities and very good outlook onto the canal. It is well positioned for access to central Edinburgh with Western Princess Street only 20 minutes and the Castle 30 minutes walk away. The staff were very helpful and accomodating when we complained about the first apartment

The apartment we were initially allocated had very poor views overlooking an overgrown building site. This was not clear from any of the publicity material. When we complained we were moved within 24 hours. I felt the fact that some apartments had these views should be mentioned in the marketing material.

Well appointed, spacious apartment in a quiet location, but still very convenient for the Lothian Road and city area. Within 5 minutes walk of a wide variety of restaurants, bars, pubs, cinemas, theatres etc. Within easy walking distance of Princes Street and the castle. Also, being on the canal, provides easy access to green cycle/running routes. Eq2 also has an environmental policy and has applied for a green tourism award.

As with many apartments, the heating was set way too high on arrival - at odds with the environmental policy. The hall radiator was not adjustable and remained uncomfortably high during our stay.

Huge space, very clean and comfortable. Kitchen ande living room were excellent for spending time with our family.
