we liked the location and good value accommodation We travelled as a family of 3 from Aberdeen and stayed at your hotel on the evening of 13th May 2013, en route to the funeral of a close relative. On the morning of our departure, Tuesday 14th May 2013, which was the morning of the funeral, my husband settled the bill for our stay, however the young lady on the desk was less than helpful and quite abrasive in her attitude. It was an upsetting and stressful moment for all of us and we felt that it had been a totally unnecessary experience. Only the evening before, after dining at the hotel, we had commented on the fact that we would certainly return on other occasions to visit family and friends in the area. I regret to say that I would be very hesitant to follow that through now. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to relay these concerns.

Was there for a wedding and it was convenient to stay over. As a wedding venue it was good and the room rate was affordable. One of lifts broke down and the hotel was full with a few coach parties plus a wedding...had to walk upstairs as the remaining lift was always full of tourists coming and going when their buses arrived. My legs ached in the morning as I was up and down to the room looking after my grandson. I'm not sure if the stairway I was using was a fire exit route as it was just concrete stairs and looked like a service corridor, but it was the only route signposted.

The staff were very friendly and the room was a great size, It was clean and very nice. Overlooked the woods and a great walk along the river Clyde. The hotel was quite dated, there was a spa bath which did not work and there was no toilet roll holder. The tv was old and dated also. Bit of a walk to the bus stop to go anywhere.

View from room, the pool, location, friendly check in staff, budget price. The promptness in resolving an issue we had with the lack of hot water in our shower room. The double bed was actually two single mattresses pushed together,no hot water from our shower. The communal changing area in the leisure suite.

Location is good - being close to Glasgow city centre and airport is obviously what keeps this place in business. Obviously had very little investment for many, many years. Old-fashioned convector heating just not good enough – my room was cold. Beds are abominably bad, like a pile of bricks. Single duvets so small I needed to overlap two together. Breakfast was awful and at £8 not cheap, with bacon like leather and potato cakes as stiff as ceiling tiles.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The general facility was nice. The restaurant had a nice selection of food at fairly reasonable prices. When we had a complaint, it was dealt with professionally. The bed was absolutely unbearable. We thought it was the box spring only with no mattress. The outside was a bit run-down, so upon arriving, we felt a little unsure of where we staying. The tv had very limited channels - news only - however, we should have notified the front desk, since we found out the next morning this could have been remedied.
