Lighting in bath was very good.
Beds were very hard. Lighting in room was poor. Rooms very dated.
Helpful service. Attending a wedding at another venue but this not stop the staff being helpful
Staff really polite and the food is really good
I stayed in room 519, this room is in dire need of renovation. There was a massive threadbare patch on the carpet, the bath wall handle came off in my hand and a load of rust fell into my bath! Cracked tiles, curtains with dubious stains on them and a table that had obviously got wet before as was all bubbled on the top under the laquer. If I had paid for the room I would of demanded my money back but the company paid. Its a real shame as the staff are really nice as well as the food, but this room has ensured i would never stay in this hotel again. Beware 519!
Dated decor and in need of a lot of TLC
exellent location very friendly staff peace and quiet great value for money
Room was clean
It was like going back in time
Reasonably clean Excellent toilet
good value fir money and free use of gym
due to location you just tend to eat there so they give you in one hand but take away in the other by over priced food and lack of menu
Food was ok
Non refurbished room was the worst I've ever stayed in- it was literally falling apart. Holes in the carpet and curtains, wallpaper falling off, paint peeling in the bath (someone had attempted to re-coat it), mattress exceptionally thin and felt every spring. Only 1 channel watchable on tv
Everything was ok
Staff: genuine, friendly, tried to help.
Room next to lift shaft- what a racket! No sleep. Window broken- would not close. Toilet seat too small for toilet. Unsightly paint chips in bathrooms and elsewhere. Smokers at front doors. Corridor colour scheme demonstrated lack of taste, any taste. Signage overlap was ridiculous. A hotel that is not invested in but which could be better if someone at the top cared now.
I had to do some difficult family business in the area. This hotel was so welcoming and staff went out of their way to help me Room fresh; facilities good-desk tea/coffee etc friendliness of staff, view from room over the Clyde was magnificent. Spa swimming pool Can thoroughly recommend . A great stay
decor a little tired
Breakfast was good & staff helpful
Booked a double room in quite area , got a room with 2 single made up beds jammed together in a very noisey area . Room was in very poor condition ( furniture damaged , drafty loose pains of glass in window , carpets stained & a fan in bathroom that does not work ) got photos if required
Swimming pool and nearness to the airport + view of the Erskin Bridge from our room.
Rooms very tired dirty carpet old style t v and furniture. Bath and shower need replacing Most everywhere could do with a good clean. Not much atmosphere
Convenient to airport, friendly staff
Dingy facilities, uncomfortable beds
Reception staff very helpful.
In the room: furnishings a worn mish-mash with various panels missing etc, one bed smaller and very unstable -I even checked to see if it was a camp bed. Kettle didn't automatically turn off. Wallpaper faded, discoloured and torn. Window wouldn't close. Bath had very little enamel remaining, toilet flush loose and basin plug broken. £110 very excessive.
Food was good
Bed not comfortable, noise from the room nextdoor through adjoining door, gym facilities, price of £140 a night and no breakfast included.
Staff on reception, very helpful Managed to check in at 11am which allowed us to get into Glasgow and see the sites before going to the games. The hotel has a deal with a local taxi firm so taxi was a reasonable price - and the price was the same even although it was the games.
Being woken up at 5.15am with the lift- well think it was the lift. However if you stay in a hotel near an airport there is always going to be people coming and going at all times.
Room was good with lovely view. Bathroom clean. Toiletries supplied.
Breakfast was not very good bathroom door wouldn't close due to poor handle fitted with various different screws. Reported to reception and assured it would be fixed.
Shower in room not working !!
Front reception staff were friendly enough but was given a twin room when booked a double room and no apology given when asked to be moved. Generally very basic facilities that were ok
The room looks a bit budget and could benefit from a refurb. The bathroom floor was incredibly slippery and no hand towel provided. The bed wasn't very comfortable and the curtains were detached at both ends and hanging off the rails. We booked a double room and was given a twin - when asked if a double was available it was but beside the lift so could hear the lift going up and down all night.
The view from the room was great
The bed was extremely uncomfortable, the carpet was stained and grubby.
Decor very tired away from ground floor. Room not clean e.g. snot stuck to wall nr bedroom door.
It was a useful stop off on my way to the west coast
The decor and facilities were faded and old. It was a once grand hotel that had seen better days. The lifts had jammed doors, the walls had artex on them and the lighting was dim. The tv was an old tube tv.
Clean Convenient location Quiet
Patchy WiFi Disinterested reception staff Swimming pool out of order
