Stayed 6 times a year before and after flights. Previously impressed by staff food etc. but read on
Food quality very poor. Inedible steak sandwich replaced.but only just edible. Continental breakfast 3 unappetising small cold plates no brown rolls. Room very cold initially and heating failed so almost no sleep. Won't stay here again.
staff very nice and made an effort to make our stay good. Front of desk manager very helpful sorting out room issue. Waitress staff very nice at breakfast.
Our room was of a very poor standard. Huge stain on carpet, peeling wallpaper and torn curtains. (room 311) Was so bad we were prepared to just drive back home. Complained at reception, eventually upgraded to refurbished room on floor 1. You really need to check what standard of room you are getting, otherwise you may be very disappointed.
Good location to where I was going, reasonable price, onsite parking
bed's were very hard as though there wasn't a mattress on them
nice hotel rooms a bit worn but at the end of the day i re-furnish show rooms and hotels and it is a very big inconvenience re-furbishing
i requested a taxi and wake up call for the morning, my taxi turned up in time but a never got my wake up call had i not woken up anyway i would have missed my flight. But that was not the real problem, when i asked the young girl with the dark hair and glasses when my taxi arrived at 9 15 why i had not received my wake up call she snapped at me and was incredibly rude said it was not her fault the previous receptionist had not passed the message on. At not point had i made an accusation just asked a simple question she was clearly in a mood. One thing i do no in a hotel this size they do not verbally pass all the wake up calls nor write it on a scrap piece of paper this girl clearly had no care for your guests where all the rest were friendly and smile
Staff members were friendly , breakfast was good as you could help yourself as many times to food and tea&coffe.
Hardness of beds, floors were slipy .
The food was excellent both at dinner and breakfast. The fact we could leave the car and have a taxi take us to the airport being included in the price
Nothing to dislike.
Staff friendly and hotel is comfortable. We had a stay and fly package - excellent value for money.
Good location, not too far from the main road to find. Rooms were clean and the food in the restaurant was good. I would consider going back to this hotel for that alone. The price was reasonable at £65 per room.
Booking in was excellent and very efficient. Room was very clean and comfortable. Had dinner in the bar and the food was hot, well presented and tasty. Breakfast was very appetising and there was a wide choice of food.
Did ask for Gluten free bread if possible, and although offered a sandwich with this bread in the evening, which I refused as I preferred a cooked meal, there was none available for breakfast, or so I was told.
Nothing, everything was excellent.
Pool was great
Small room. Bed lumpy. Breakfast expensive.
The rooms were large but outdated.
Selected this hotel as it had a shuttle between the airport and hotel however none appeared for an hour upon my arrival. It was difficult to understand hotel personnel where to pick up the shuttle so finally the hotel sent a taxi to pick me up from the airport.
Pool facilities and location
Poor service for coffee in bar noise of lift heard in room
Spacious rooms, good Wifi. Food good .
Car Park not lit up enough
Excellent views from our room, clean and comfortable with exceptional breakfasts and very pleasant staff. Lovely walk along the riverside on a lovely autumn day. Nice interior of the hotel Xmas decorations added to the decor.
Bar prices rather expensive, hotel exterior could do with a "paint" over looks rather tired from the outside. Looks can be deceiving tho.
The staff. The down stairs.
Lack of disabled facilities for some one who is very mobility challenged. The bedrooms were in dire need of freshening up and losing all the brown! The hallways need revamping, very tired colours.
Easy access for airport. Room warm and clean but looking a bit tired.
Bar meals are good but portions seem smaller than our visit last year and definitely more expensive. Airport transfer was late, we just made it. That one point will make us think twice about staying again.
poor repair of room
Staff friendly and helpful Food good Lit parking
Had to change room as first one next to couple having a row Twin room not nice- light not working, curtains hanging off, floor stained, bedside cupboard wobbling, beds uncomfortable!
Excellent location for Glasgow Airport - good ling to and from airport via Hotel (Usually free) service - also (usually free) parking for holiday periods. Seek the deals that offer the above services free.
Poor standard of Bar meal service on this visit
Friendly staff, View, nice sitting area in lobby. Dinning area was well set out
Shower mat had black mould on it. Bath had something green on the bottom, wouldn't have liked to bathe in it. Very old TV only five channels no freeview.
The room was comfortable and generally clean. Nice view from the window.
Breakfast was poor. The presentation of the buffet was not very appetising. Although the eggs were cooked on the buffet they were swimming in fat. Bread for toasting was of the lowest quality and the pastries on offer for continental breakfasts was lamentable, as was the 'kipper' served up to my husband. The restaurant was understaffed and although the three waitresses on duty worked tremendously hard they had been set an impossible task. We travel up to Glasgow frequently but unless breakfast improves we will be unlikely to be staying here next time. The shower curtain in our bedroom needed replacing.
The breakfast was dry and had been left under the heat for too long.
The referb rooms and bath rooms ,
The bar area and hall ways
The staff where polite and helpful even though they had a poor knowledge of the hotel booking system.
The paint was pealing of the ceiling, there was no enamel in the baths, one hair dryer was full of grime and the other one was melted and dangerous to use. The electrical plug socket was not secure in the wall and came out when you unplugged. The wall paper was pealing of the walls in both rooms and the furniture was broken and in a state of disrepair. The windows sills where chipped and damaged and again there was pealing paint. In all the condition of the rooms was sub standard and disgusting and had it not been for the fact that we had driven up from England bad was attending a funeral the next day we would have made an issue of it with the manager. You have my assurance that I will never attend your hotel again and I defiantly won't be recommending it to any one. If you wish I can forward you the photos I took of the rooms which I am going to post on twitter.
