Breakfast, location good and staff very hospitable.
Cold room, cold in bed. You have to walk through the main dining area to get to your room. Narrow stairs to the room. Wouldnt come again.Limited parking.
Gorgeous view. Good food.
Management and cleanness.
Location ideal for siteseeing in North Wales ie Conwy,Snowdon etc.
Steps up to our room on top floor
Very friendly staff. given choice of room and view. Nice location
Well Priced, fantastic views, helpful staff and a nice breakfast. Would recommend.
Ironing boards are not allowed in the rooms, I had to Iron my clothes in the bar area, Wifi didn't reach the room.
The few supplies of shampoo
would have liked a bigger bed
Very friendly staff & room had lovely view. Would happily recommend.
I loved the location, beautiful views, everything I needed in the room. A teapot provided. Everything clean. Hypnos bed. I have already booked my next stay. Such good value.
Top sheet then duvet on top. I would prefer just a duvet with fresh covers each time. It would be more relaxing to have breakfast a bit later if preferred. 9 a.m. is the cut off for orders and the tables start to be cleared then. It would just make it more relaxing if we had until 9.30 before everything is cleared up round us especially if we are on holiday rather than business.
I liked everything really, the staff were great, room & cleanliness perfect, food amazing & the added bonus of fantastic views.....definitely my 2nd home for the next 3 years while my daughter is at Bangor University.Look forward to going back very soon, thanks guys x
The only thing I didn't like was leaving but I'll be back!
Breakfast. Spacious room. View. Price
Free parking for the hotel is extremely limited so had to park at the pier - only 1 minute away, for £1.
hotel was clean, tidy and very comfortable.we only stayed for one night as a break in our journey to Ireland for a family wedding but would have liked to stay longer as it would have made an ideal base for a holiday in north wales. the staff were very helpful and polite. the food was really good and reasonably priced, especially the breakfast. we would have no hesitation in recommending it.
nice room, great views over the bay
smelly en-suite, their drains need sorting out. Staff leave all the windows open when they do the room so the do know about this
Very big room with nice sea view, friendly staff and huge choice at breakfast
Steep steps up to the entrance might be difficult for some guests
Dining room was OK.
Black mould in the bathroom.
Food was lovely, rooms were clean and comfortable. View were excellent from our room and the staff were very friendly.
Couldn't get any connection to the WiFi.
Wonderful view, spacious room, centrally located, helpful and friendly staff.
Location, view and breakfast.
Dirty pillows, filthy lampshade, not enough parking spaces.
Stayed for 1 night & I can honestly say that it was a fantastic hotel & well worth the money. We had a family room which over looked the pier (beautiful view). I did read the reviews before I arrived & was a little bit concerned, but once we checked in & saw our room I breathed a sigh of relief! Yes parts of the hotel certainly need a lick of paint & new carpet but our room was immaculate & the shower was poweful (not modern looking) but it did the job just fine. Our rate included breakfast which was fab.. They staff were happy to do our childrens breakfast to their taste..I can honestly say that this hotel beats any budget chain hotel & you get a quirky character hotel to enjoy. I work in the travel industry & wouldn't hesitate to recommend!
I happened to be in a family room that looked onto the sea. It was delightful. The room was comfortable and clean. Tea and coffee making facilities were provided. The food was good.
I did not find a Bible in my room. Perhaps it was taken by a previous occupant. I was reassured that the hotel has Bibles in every room.
A lovely location next to the pier with views of Anglesey but still within easy walk of shops, buses and railway station. The family room was spacious with high ceiling and lots of character. The hotel was family friendly and easy-going.
Nothing really bad. Sometimes there seemed to be a lack of staff around but it didn't cause us any problems.
Food and staff Great veiws
First room was not in good condition and no travel cot as requested
the location, staff, food and every thing is really excellent
Good setting, over looking pier
Rooms a bit dated but very clean & would like a choice to have something different for Sunday lunch other than a big dinner, such as a sandwich or baguette
