the location, staff, food and every thing is really excellent
Good setting, over looking pier
Rooms a bit dated but very clean & would like a choice to have something different for Sunday lunch other than a big dinner, such as a sandwich or baguette
Location, comfy bed, big room, decent breakfast & fantastic bay view
Staff not very attentive, communal areas very tired
Just everything. Exellent and scenic location. Good food. Nice staff. Absolutely reasonable price!
The view at low tide :) Just joke
Location Food Staff very friendly Views
View over the Menai Straits and Pier is beautiful
Parking was a problem, steps with heavy luggage not ideal
Very helpful staff. The place was dog friendly. The breakfast was very good as was the beer at the bar. It was a good old fashioned hotel.
Parking was limited but we got a space. The room we got didn't have the bay window but it was a sea view, and as it it wasn't carpeted I assume it was because we had a dog so we can't really complain.
Breakfast, hosts, quiet location.
Twin bed room was tiny, toilet was eco friendly macerater that was noisy and took 12 minutes to refill. Only window with outlook was in bathroom. Tiny room was cluttered with general storage stuff adding to feeling of claustrophobia.
Views from room, breakfast was good. Sheets on bed were nice cotton. Shower was powerful.
Decor needs sorting, although cleaned more attention to detail re hair and dead bugs left around :-( Wifi not strong enough to reach room most times
Freindly staff, good food, good wifi, room was exellent with a bay window to sit in,good beer and near to a real ale pub!
Nothing really ,maybe the hallway that led to the room could do with a lick of paint but thats it.
A fab hotel for the price, right near the lovely Pier, and easy to walk to the centre. Amazing view from room 24. Very nice staff, good breakfast.
We arrived 7pm and the car park was full with other customers Eve staff were friendly but morning staff were rude The hotel is very tatty and we didn't eat for those reasons as basics were too much of an effort
Good location. Clean. Comfy.
Good price Good location
Staff average Breakfast poor
Room was spacious and comfortable, beds were of good quality. Staff were warm and friendly. Breakfast served in conservatory was very good value. View was fantastic. My daughter and I stayed here when we came to attend my eldest daughter's graduation. Location was perfect. All in all it was the perfect end to a wonderful day
good large rooms and lovely breakfasts
The staff & management were all very friendly and accommodating! We had a beautiful view from a very clean room. The beds were comfy, and breakfast was excellent. Wish we stayed longer!
Wifi in the room would have been nice, but it was not essential. Service in the lobby was good.
Good location - great view. Very good Italian restaurant 2 minutes away by the pier.
The old cooking smells- could not face eating there, or even having a drink at the bar. Breakfast was included so we had it. Shouldn't have bothered- poor food and worse service.
Family room (17) was quite big and a large bathroom! (shower, not a bath but fine). We also had twin and double rooms on top floor (23 & 24) with great view. Rooms decorated nicely (hallway undergoing revamp, is fine). Wi-fi was free and it worked fine. Breakfast was good (and efficient). Staff were just lovely. Terrace is nice. BTW - on a previous visit
Top floor rooms hot in the morning (but worth it for the view of the Menai Strait!). Very noisy fan & toilet but I wouldn't worry about it - I'd book any of these rooms again. Make sure you let them know if you have trouble with stairs - there are stairs up to the main part and then more stairs to the second accommodation building - I'm not sure if any of it is really accessible (but I didn't ask) - I'm not complaining but you might need to check for yourself.
Nothing was too much trouble, friendly staff, comfortable room, great views and even an early start no problem. Will return.
beautiful place and good service
stunning views over the bay all the way to great orme and puffin island. half an hours drive from snowden.parking on site and easy to find just off A5.
decor very dated.plastic/catering sausage at breakfast no good for repeat business!
A nice friendly hotel, room was clean, everything worked, great location, parking facilities and a pleasant stay.
On a personal note, the decor was not to my taste, but it didn't affect my stay!
Good location. Booking system worked well.
There was only one bed side table. Wardrobe too short to hang a jacket. Television did not work.
Location and food
Too may stairs and poor parking
