I loved the location, beautiful views, everything I needed in the room. A teapot provided. Everything clean. Hypnos bed. I have already booked my next stay. Such good value.
Top sheet then duvet on top. I would prefer just a duvet with fresh covers each time. It would be more relaxing to have breakfast a bit later if preferred. 9 a.m. is the cut off for orders and the tables start to be cleared then. It would just make it more relaxing if we had until 9.30 before everything is cleared up round us especially if we are on holiday rather than business.
I liked everything really, the staff were great, room & cleanliness perfect, food amazing & the added bonus of fantastic views.....definitely my 2nd home for the next 3 years while my daughter is at Bangor University.Look forward to going back very soon, thanks guys x
The only thing I didn't like was leaving but I'll be back!
nice room, great views over the bay
smelly en-suite, their drains need sorting out. Staff leave all the windows open when they do the room so the do know about this
Very big room with nice sea view, friendly staff and huge choice at breakfast
Steep steps up to the entrance might be difficult for some guests
Dining room was OK.
Black mould in the bathroom.
Food was lovely, rooms were clean and comfortable. View were excellent from our room and the staff were very friendly.
Couldn't get any connection to the WiFi.
Wonderful view, spacious room, centrally located, helpful and friendly staff.
Location, view and breakfast.
Dirty pillows, filthy lampshade, not enough parking spaces.
A lovely location next to the pier with views of Anglesey but still within easy walk of shops, buses and railway station. The family room was spacious with high ceiling and lots of character. The hotel was family friendly and easy-going.
Nothing really bad. Sometimes there seemed to be a lack of staff around but it didn't cause us any problems.
Food and staff Great veiws
First room was not in good condition and no travel cot as requested
the location, staff, food and every thing is really excellent
Good setting, over looking pier
Rooms a bit dated but very clean & would like a choice to have something different for Sunday lunch other than a big dinner, such as a sandwich or baguette
Only good thing was the view from the room overlooking the pier. Very short working distance to it. Breakfast Chef kindly came in early on a Sunday to cook breakfast for us.
- found hairs on my bed - bedding had funny smells - the TV sound in room 12 does not work - quality of breakfast very poor - breakfast waitress called Trish was very blunt and unwelcoming - shower temperature control was not working, hot 30 seconds, cold right after - parking was limited - about 10 spaces
Location, comfy bed, big room, decent breakfast & fantastic bay view
Staff not very attentive, communal areas very tired
A good place to stop for the night the the staff were very friendly and helpful It was my dad and I first visit to Wales as I was doing the brutal swim at Llanberis on Sunday I completed the 10k swim. We did go to the real ale pub. Many thanks for our stay.
Just everything. Exellent and scenic location. Good food. Nice staff. Absolutely reasonable price!
The view at low tide :) Just joke
Location Food Staff very friendly Views
View over the Menai Straits and Pier is beautiful
Parking was a problem, steps with heavy luggage not ideal
Very helpful staff. The place was dog friendly. The breakfast was very good as was the beer at the bar. It was a good old fashioned hotel.
Parking was limited but we got a space. The room we got didn't have the bay window but it was a sea view, and as it it wasn't carpeted I assume it was because we had a dog so we can't really complain.
Lovely setting and views at dawn from room 21 out over the water. Clean and homely room. Firm bed. Friendly welcome even though I had to check in quite late.
The decor a little dated but in some ways that adds to the charm and authenticity. A sharp steel lip over the the entrance to the shower. I stubbed my toe getting in.
Breakfast, hosts, quiet location.
Twin bed room was tiny, toilet was eco friendly macerater that was noisy and took 12 minutes to refill. Only window with outlook was in bathroom. Tiny room was cluttered with general storage stuff adding to feeling of claustrophobia.
Views from room, breakfast was good. Sheets on bed were nice cotton. Shower was powerful.
Decor needs sorting, although cleaned more attention to detail re hair and dead bugs left around :-( Wifi not strong enough to reach room most times
Freindly staff, good food, good wifi, room was exellent with a bay window to sit in,good beer and near to a real ale pub!
Nothing really ,maybe the hallway that led to the room could do with a lick of paint but thats it.
A fab hotel for the price, right near the lovely Pier, and easy to walk to the centre. Amazing view from room 24. Very nice staff, good breakfast.
