Friendly. Nice room, great view.
Fish not thoroughly cooked. TV not working
welcoming and very comfortable. staff very friendly and helpful. food was good, the room wash excellent. fantastic bathroom, loved the shower, the view from the room was fantastic. would recommend.
Fantastic staff made us really feel at home. Nadeems speciality Rajastan curries on the weekend are excellent (fairly spicy). Our family room was right next to the bar area so we even managed a relaxing evening without worry.
Loved the views from the huge second and top-floor rooms in the separate building to the back of the main hotel. The communal areas are very tired, breakfasts fine. In general - good value for money.
Not so keen on the small, dark rooms above the bar, which can be noisy at the weekend.
Large rooms, nice staff
WiFi didn't work at all, hotel far from everything, loads of narrow stairs with no lift
Very spacious room with excellent views.
Radiator in room wasn't working properly so a bit cold. Heating in bathroom didn't work at all so was very cold given the time of year
Friendly helpful staff. Views over water from breakfast room. Prompt service and clean. WiFi worked well. Bed comfortable and room warm.
Rather tired decor. Device in room which hissed and sprayed every 15 minutes or so. Cooked breakfast on cool plates. Much prefer buffet style than having to request items or more coffee. Bedroom lights very dim. Requested bathroom and bay view and got neither (understand these are limited). Shower powerful but only like warm unfortunately.
They do not have an elevator. One has to pick up luggage and go up to 3rd floor that's where the rooms are. They got no one to help you with the same. Better rooms are on ground floor but they wouldn't allot u
Location and the view are stunning. The facilities are great and just what needed. The bar/restaurant is great - nice breaky. Friendly staff.
Friendly helpful staff, with free parking, my daughter, her husband and 5yr old son stayed in a lovely modern, spacious en suite room in the main building with a great view.
Our room was a bit jaded although very comfortable and a great view.
Radiators in bathroom and bedroom not working on a very cold night. One small oil heater to warm room.
Room, food and service were excellent. Room was large, pleasantly furnished and beds very comfortable. The lasagne I ordered for my evening meal was the best I have ever tasted, apart from my own homemade version!
Very warm and comfortable.
The stairs are a bit of a killer but as long as you are not too tired it's fine!
Perfect outside view. Toilet is good
No wifi in upper room. A little big far from public transpotation.
A fabulous view of the bay. Nice facilities.
Bit of a trek up the outside steps, but then we are in our late 60's!
Great location, one of the best and a good solid building with friendly staff.
More like a B&B pretending to be a hotel in part. Windows were open in my room (a cold November) and that was needed as there was otherwise a damp smell. But the heating was good so fine. Despite saying that food was available to late when I phoned earlier I was told the kitchen was closed. At the rate I paid it was a bargain, but this hotel could be so much more
All of it was spot on ....the room ..the staff..and location over - looking the bay and the food was very good to...in all 10 /10 .a
I had just one day ...to enjoy it all.
staff were proffesional restaurant food exeptional cheep rooms scenic views
Parking not much of it
Very comfortable, nicely decorated room. Surprisingly luxurious for the price. Friendly and very helpful staff. The vegetarian food in the restaurant was really lovely (and did not feel like the poor relation to meat-eater food).
They didn't have the vegetarian breakfast advertised on the menu.
Everything was fine.
Nothing was bad.
An excellent and friendly place to stay
Staff were friendly, food is very good and reasonably prices, view was fantastic
WiFi signal was poor, phone signal was very poor. Only visit Bangor if you have a car or like walking, public transport is a bit of a mess.
Views and access to pier. Handy for Uni. Flexible friendly staff. Not corporate, genuine
Dated and bit tired. Bit pricey
Parking should be clearly explained on website, as steps to access buildings too
