I have booked the hotel for my parents plus brother and his wife. They came for few days to visit Wales. They absolutely loved the place. The rooms were spacious and clean. They had the necessary facilities to use, like iron, kettle or toaster :) They felt like at home. The price was excellent comparing with days inn or premier inn hotels. The area is quiet and there is loads to do in the Bridgend County. Definitely would recommend it to stay in Escape to Wales.

The apartment was lovely. Clean and very spacious. The fact it was £50 no hidden costs, but I was charged more! Only one toilet roll and although it states tea, coffee and biscuits, there was no milk and no biscuits. Alsovit said it was a 6 minute drive to town, yet it took us 15. So not as close as described.

Most unfriendly, petty, shallow and stingy owners I have ever come across. Due to nature of my lifestyle I stay at a lot of hotels in various countries, and I have to say this was literally first time I came across such petty owners. They overcharged me gbp 96 for a parking spot, even though I never had a car and never reserved a parking spot, and when I challenged them for this overcharge, they would not refund me! Also, they live right across and watch your every move. Apartment itself is just plain: beds are not comfortable, especially the one in the small bedroom, you go to bed and wake up actually feeling more tired, as the bed is so cheap. A lot of cheesy decorations, and depressingly low ceiling. By choosing this place I actually thought of supporting a small business, and instead it turned out to be an awful experience and unacceptable attitude by the owners. Overall experience: bad. And I for one would never come back to that place.

Friendly welcome, appartment clean and trendy and modern.Had an ok feel about the appartment until we found following faults further in this review. Was ok but disgusted with faulty lighting in bathroom which was only working intermitently and for a family with two children for two nights stay and a morning was not good enough.we had to leave light on all night which we got told off for but we had no choice as once switched off we could not get back on.There was only enough coffee/tea for two but we did get more when asked for. Also only one toilet roll left until we asked for more.Maybe a little more tlc to minor finishing touches would be nice.Kids dvds etc and minor repairs. We feel that for the £100 per stay we paid that we should get some money back through faults have mentioned as landlord knew there was a fault with electric. Also felt ripped off as never asked for parking but still got charged £12 extra to use it.All in all would not stay here again.Would say appartment more worth £75 including parkingWas ok but disgusted with faulty lighting in bathroom which was only working intermitently and for a family with two children for two nights stay and a morning was not good enough.

Well organised, comfortable and contemporary furnishings, warm. Very good value for money. The following comment is not made to detract from my praise of the venue, which in all other respects was excellent, including cleanliness: but changeover staff need to double check that the grill pan/oven hasn't been used/needs to be cleaned.

The apartment was excellent with all the facilities we needed and more. It was beautifully decorated and very clean when we arrived. It was easy to find and we were welcomed with a big smile which was pleasant. Being on the ground floor was handy. If anything I thought parking was a bit expensive as I'm sure I could have parked for free nearby but he did allow us the second car for free.

It was so nice to have a home from home place to stay especially when travelling as a female on her own. Lovely welcome and all the comforts you need to chill in front of the TV with a glass of wine. Would definitely stay again.

The apartment was very clean and tidy and well appointed. I met with Tom who manages the property and he was really helpful. I was made welcome and felt comfortable during my stay. If I was going to be picky then the height of the lights need to be adjusted as I can't tell you how many times I banged my head(concussion, only joking) but that is the only niggle.

The apartment was very nice clean and had everything a family needed. The price you have to pay per person for breakfast which is not good value for money and you have to have it which left us a little baffled.

We were with family and friends most of the time - it ws a pleasure to come back to the apartment in the evenings. Wonderful to have a washer/dryer combination, full stove, and refrigerator/freezer. Would have like the price 420 pounds for a week to be a little lower.

We were late arriving but this was no problem for Terry. He waited around for us long after our agreed arrival time and was welcoming and helpful :)) His local knowledge & travel directions were excellent. Apartment was exactly as it looked on the site. Terry described the apartment as "home from home" .... and it was ..... even down to the fresh coffee in the fridge!! We were only there for one night so didn't get the chance to explore the local area but there was a wealth of local information in the apartment. Our party consisted of 4 adults and one older child.

It was a very smart apartment with everything you could need, inc. Washing machine/tumble dryer, dishwasher etc. Lovely bathroom with everything supplied but could do with bath mats both in the bath and for the floor! Would stay again. We were asked to phone around an hour before we arrived, however I called at least 6 times and nobody answered the phone - not a very promising start and when the owners did arrive to let us in there were no apologies! As we were staying with my 93yr old mother in order to attend a funeral in the area this was a pretty stressful start especially with wondering if anyone was going to turn up to let us in! Also I could not access the wifi with the password given, as it would not allow me access.

Excellent value for money, helpful, knowledgeable manager, Extreamely well equipped. Very comfortable - except for fourth bed The roll out bed wasn't very suitable for a fourth adult. Our son had an uncomfortable night in it. Paying extra for the parking bay was odd - but even then good value.

We were extremely pleased with our weekend break. Our apartment was everything we had hoped for and totally met our needs. Everything was clean and on the whole well maintained. I would definitely consider returning to the same apartment when next visiting family in Wales and would definitely recommend to other family and friends.
