We had a warm welcom, and was then left alone in our self catering apartment. Which is what we wanted. Help was at the end of the phone or just over the road , should we need it. A very clean, modern apartment which soon felt like a home from home.

Everything u needed was available with no fuss. A king size bed and all around luxury. Parking was great too.

Was not keen on the local town.

Overall appearance; it is a nice apartment. Beds quite comfortable. Good size television with some good channels available. But for the reasons stated next, we don't believe the apartment deserves the "superb" rating that it has on Booking.com

When we asked the owner / manager where to locate a teatowel and extra toilet paper, we were told we could use one of the bathroom handtowels, and that they only supply one roll. Pardon me? This is not a van park cabin, you would think for the small cost of toilet paper that enough would be supplied. The listing describes a welcome pack of tea, coffee, biscuits and bottled water. There were no biscuits, no bottled water and although tea and coffee were supplied , there was only one teaspoon size pack of sugar. The apartment is listed as having a dishwasher, but we only saw the empty space in the kitchen where it should be. At least supply a tea towel so we can dry the dishes! When we booked, the description of parking made us think there must be a paid parking area, so we paid the £18 for 3 days parking, only to see that the parking space is one dedicated for that apartment anyway - why are we paying for parking? The oven was filthy with the oven tray full of grease and oil from someone else's baked dinner. When we reached for the dustpan it was full of shards of broken glass. The DVD player did not seem connected properly to the TV so we couldn't watch any of the movies supplied. If you read some other reviews of the apartment, some of these issues have occurred previously, but appear not to have been addressed.

The apartment was perfect for us, well equipped and no complaints. We stayed for 4 nights and could have stayed longer. It was a home away from home :-) The town, beaches, station all easy to reach with a car. Definitely going back there again.

We were attending a wedding in the area and the apartment chosen for us to come and go. It was clean and tidy only pity that we couldn't stay longer to get full use of the apartments facilities.

Problem getting in touch with owner prior to arrival day and on the day' for access to the apartment due to timing of wedding celebration.
