Clean friendly staff

We had noisy neighbours kept us awake @ other guests, the management didn't do enough to stop this, they should have as them to leave after at least the 2nd visit to ask them to keep quiet, they left them stay tll morning @ still didn't leave until after us 10.30, the staff were appologetric but didn't act quik enough this will stop us @ other friends bookin this again,

The service was excellent and staff were extremely hospitable. Food was good and at a very reasonable price. Atmosphere in Bar was good with friendly locals. Would definitely stay again.

On main road, quite noisy, not the cleanest hotel i have ever stayed in, noisy til early hours from people in the bar.

Only stayed for one night without breakfast, but was impressed to have refreshments in the room as well as toiletries.

Most important - we could drive the car right up to our entrance - saved hauling luggage up flights of stairs! Peaceful yet close to everything. Friendly staff. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and you run a great business there. You might give guests a word of caution about venturing out on to the road from the rear building - it is a blind corner. We caught on fast when cars when whizzing past the nose of the car!!! We even enjoyed seeing the farm across the street unload big bales of hay! Hope we can return again and will tell our uk friends. PS Liked the Scottish soap, the teapot for making tea, well heated room, large towels, towel bar! You are our 5th night's stay and the best!!

I have already mentioned it when leaving, that we couldn't get the shower to run warm water! We managed - rather invigorating!

My son and I needed a place to stay overnight to see a football match - this hotel ticks every box - very helpful with information - breakfast and evening meal was good - great atmosphere in the evening and even with them very busy, the staff were always on hand making sure we had everything we wanted - friendly and polite - only short drive to the football ground - park at end of road for our own kick about - town centre only a short walk away which we will check out next year when we hopefully will stay again - what more can I say - they helped to make our manchester trip a fantastic weekend and a great success

Shower was cold for fist shower on arrival. However, it warmed up for the next shower.

Very friendly staff. Perfectly acceptable accommodation at a very reasonable price. Food was excellent - both dinner and breakfast. We stayed as a group of 6 and would certainly go back again. Although situated on a main road, there was little background traffic noise.

Not really a dislike, but the hotel is a little 'tired' in places,however renovation work is underway.

Have stayed on numerous occasions now & find it ideally placed for access into Manchester & for the matchday convenience. Will continue to recommend for both location & budget, however, the staff & atmosphere will always be the reason to return...
