Esplanade Hotel  

The staff were very friendly, our fire alarm went off in our room but the staff resolved this problem immediately and we was given complimentry breakfast which was lovely. The hotel was a perfect location.

Parking was abit of a struggle and very tight. We were also on the first floor so could hear all the nose from the bar.

Overall,,size of room was excellent with the added bonus of their own bar.Dining area was well set out and spacious and breakfast was excellent.Staff were very friendly on arrival,departure and during the stay. The cost of the 2 night stay was very much value for money.

Downside was that there was no entertainment for younger or family guest.It was guided towards the older generation during our stay.

Room needs decorating, single glazing meant room cooled down quickly when the heating went off. no heating on during the day

The location was very good and being winter time we were able to park outside of the front of the hotel for free overnight. The bar meal at night was good and reasonably priced. Bar prices were good.

Building was tired and in need of some serious refurbishment. Cold on the afternoon of our arrival and the heating did not come on until 4.00pm.

I loved everything about the hotel from it's friendly helpful staff to the lovely full English breakfast. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and the view was amazing.

Excellent welcome, quick check in,lovely clean rooms,bar excellent ,entertainment great,the people I was with were running the twin peirs 10k run and we were welcomed and allowed to park in the car park earlier than our check in time and also wished good luck !!

Heating not on at night, only on 6-10am, 2-10pm. Was very cold!

Room 349 wasn`t that great as it was small and needed redecorating. Others in our party got larger, seafront rooms for the same price, so I suppose it's luck of the draw

The rooms was very uncomfotable.the shower room was so small you could not shower properly.the rooms was very cold and a lot of condensation on the windows overall not worth the money they are charging will not stay there again

Warm friendly atmosphere. Lovely & warm & good entertainment on every night. Nice hot buffet breakfast. Location is fantastic & we were upgraded free of charge to a seaview room.

Excellent Location, fantastic breakfast best black pudding ever. Friendly & helpful staff. we managed to leave a small bag behind which was posted back to us would definitely recommend top class service at a budget price well done.
