Just a short stroll away from the promenade, pier and shopping centre, The Esplanade Hotel is also perfectly placed for keen golfers, with 3 championship golf courses in the immediate area. The surroundings are also perfect for a range of country pursuits, with the wonderful backdrop of the Great and Little Ormes.

All of the rooms at The Esplanade Hotel are tastefully and individually decorated. Each twin/double room either has one double or two single beds (please state your preference on booking). 90% of the rooms are accessible via the lift.

Area information

With it's unique combination of Victorian style and Edwardian elegance, Llandudno is the largest holiday resort in Wales. Dubbed the Queen of Welsh resorts, it stands on a peninsula jutting out into the Irish sea, between the twin headlands of the Great Orme and Little Orme.

The hotel is within walking distance of the pier, town centre and the tramway and cable car to the Great Orme Countryside Park. Rivers, valleys, mountains, beaches, golf courses, castles, gardens and much more can also be found nearby.

Travel information

By Car:
- Take the A55 (Expressway).
- Exit at junction 19 to join the A470.
- Follow signs for Llandudno.
- Follow brown tourist signs for the Promenade.
- Turn towards the Great Orme and Pier.
- Pass Venue Cymru Theatre and Imperial Hotel and the Esplanade is in the block immediately after St.George's hotel (some 200 metres from the pier).
