The food was excellent. The staff were friendly without being overly so. The room was comfortable with more than adequate facilities. Location is great with some wonderful seaside views and easy access to snowdonia.

Happy family run hotel. Excellent choice of menu with several specials. Beautifully cooked and presented food. Great attention to detail in room made our stay very enjoyable. Home produced foods were available. A very friendly atmosphere, much enjoyed.

Perhaps a lounge area for use in bad weather would be nice, instead of the coffee room, or as well as.

A lovely quiet village, although within easy reach (despite the roadworks) of Harlech, Porthmadog, Portmeirion, Criccieth, Snowdon and beyond. Lovely views across the Estuary to Portmeirion. Rooms beautifully furnished with everything you need. Your own allocated parking slot. Excellent breakfast cooked to order. One of the best B&B breakfasts ever. Lovely menu for evening meal with generous portions. Excellent value for money. Very friendly hosts.

    Having to leave!

First over-riding impression was comprehensive cleanliness, followed by tasteful planting around the car park, combining to reveal a tasteful approach to detail throughout the rooms..

The odd motor cyclist passing by loudly at night. The dining chairs, and armchairs in the bedroom, were on the low side for my comfort.

All areas are easily accessed within an hour or so of driving we visited quite a few places whilst we were there . Driving around the area is both quiet and pleasurable with views of the landscape everywhere I intend to return next year.

    I couldn't find anything to dislike .

We loved everything about this Hotel. The room was outstanding, with unexpected facilities - like heated floors and fresh milk in the fridge without asking. The restaurant was worthy of a five star rating and the staff were welcoming, friendly and very, very helpful. Highly recommend this hotel.

    Nothing at all the dislike

The lovely family who looked after us, nothing was too much trouble. Also their lovely friendly dog who was so chilled out and friendly too. The en suite was in two rooms which was very nice. Great having car outside door which made loading up so easy.

Did not know bridge across estuary being re-built hence a longer journey to Portmerian etc. not a problem but should have been informed by booking.com - who were aware of the situation.

the staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Our room couldn't be faulted, very comfortable with a carton of fresh milk in the fridge on arrival - nice touch, no fiddly little cartons to open! The food was superb and plenty of it - well cooked and imaginative with the best home-made Banoffee pie I ever tasted - location - very pretty surrounding countryside -would recommend this place to anybody!

It took too long to get there - wish it was nearer to us in Dorset!

Large comfortable room and good facilities. Friendly informative family owned hotel. Good choice available for breakfast. Didn't have evening meal due to attending functions locally but would imagine them being good quality. Close proximity to Portmeirion village.

Rooms spacious, bed very comfortable, ample toiletries, tea and coffee machine privided and included bar fridge and microwave. Parking was a priority for us, and the on-site bays were well set out and not cramped. The breakfast was included in the room price and excellent value, as well as an amazing choice of hot and cold food all beautifully cooked and served with a smile. We ate our evening meals here which proved to be reasonably priced, choice of dishes on menu and quality was superb. Last, but not least, you will be overwhelmed with the friendliness and service of the family who run the hotel. We will definitely recommend this hotel to our family and friends.
