“ The service has been excellent. This is a family run lodge and everyone is lovely, from the warm welcome you get from the dog to the genuine kindness and care and desire to make your stay comfortable that the family shows. We were here as part of a honeymoon around Wales and have felt at home here. ”

The staff were friendly and obliging. The room was clean,well-equipped and comfortable. On each morning I had to be away before breakfast service began. On the first occasion I was supplied the previous evening with everything which I required for a light breakfast in my room. On the final morning, I was invited to pre-order a cooked breakfast at 07:15., which was served with a smile. My whole stay was excellent, and I hope to be able to return. They deserve to succeed. The lack of a two pin shaver point in the room.

it was easy to find, and conveniently near the station (you don't have to take the car all the time) Good walks, lovely food, very freindl staff. Loved the microwave in the room (although we did not need to take advantage of it) Mountain/estuary views would be great, but you can't have everything. And it has everything else.

Lovely family run hotel. The lodges are home from home with lots of thoughtful extras like fresh milk in the fridge. Breakfast superb very helpful staff whose advice on how to spend a day spot on. Limited eve menu didn't cater for veggies so had to eat out. This was a shame after a tiring day. Talsarnau have no other eateries open @ present so a 4 mile trip tp Harlech.

It came highly recommended and lived up to all expectations. The decor in the bedroom was of an exceptionally high standard and very, very comfortable. The breadfasts and evening meals were superb and reasonably priced given the high quality of the produce. The staff were friendly, courteous and very helpful. Nothing at all - it was perfect.

The friendly helpful staff. The food was lovely and there was plenty of it. All homemade and lots of choice. The Extensive DVD collection free to use. The knowledge of the local area and tips given at breakfast. The large room and comfy bed. The corkscrew in the fridge. I loved everything.

The family that run the business, the room comfort, the thoughtful extras like fridge, micowave and fresh milk for the tea. Hotel quality soaps, shampoos and creams. Good on site cattering if required plus great breakfasts. They produce their own chicken and duck eggs, and honey. The marmalade and jam was home made and the butter was real! The only small complaint was the height of the shower in the bathroom - even someone 6' tall woutld struggle to get under it!
