Score from 1040 reviews Excellent
Bed was comfortable and room was cleaned to excellent standards
Shower space and toilet very cramped,
It was a new building and cleaned well
A mean little room with poor facilities. No tea-making available and the 'cafe' downsatirs was primitive
- relatively cheap and close to centre - safe parking
- Electricity sockets are not located close to the bed. Very impractical. - The repetitive payment process for the parking is a hassle. Should implement a smoother system instead of having to run back and forth to reception to show receipt and activate card for every time one wants to leave the enclosed parking area.
The shower wasn't hot the heating didn't work all night was constant noise and when I apporach staff I was just ignored
Location, 5 minute walk from O2.
Bed was not very comfortable
Both me and my partner hardly slept due the beds kept seperating and falling off.
Value of money. Good location
The room was a bit cold, not really cosy warm
me n my 2 little ones like to go away for a couple of days in the half term here was great and the staff were all so nice really enjoyed.
Close to every thing stayed before so no how find it
Pillows in room not enough. bed very low and hard
Cheap and clean.
Shower room and sink separate from toilet. Very uncomfortable/lack of privacy.
location, free wifi,
room a bit basic but for the price didnt expect to much , was cold too
The use of a car park.
The 2nd lift was not working and only one key given to us for use. Food spilt along corridor on carpet.
Style of room, bed linen, breakfast area.
The plug sockets Mike away from the mirror, carpark payment machine cash only.
Hotel clean. Shower efficient. Bed a bit hard. WI Fi good.
I was lucky, but others complained bitterly about noise from other guests on the corridors at 4 am!
No Carpet Small No tea/coffee in room no hairdryer
Location and value for money
Location, basic, clean and comfortable, price of room!
not able to stay there as they got a better offer for our room. They did pay for taxis but we had to pay the difference for the hotel!!
Cheap price, comfortable bed and stones throw from O2 academy and 10-15minute walk from Birmingham new street station.
No shampoo and shower gel or hair dryer or hand towels in room. But can't complain at the price for a budget hotel, would still come back!
Shower, bed, room
Noise from the road was very loud even after shutting the windows.
Enclosed shower, comfortable bed, convenient location
No kettle, tea/coffee in room. No wardrobe - just coat hangars.
Cheap, good location, very clean rooms
Dirty halls and lifts late at night (it was sat night) think night staff could have sorted the mess out
Clean, nicely designed and comfortable rooms. Good bed and decent shower. Relatively short walk to the various train stations & city centre (if you know your way around Brum).
Sleep was interrupted some drunken fool who thought it would be nice to set off the fire alarms (I think by opening the fire exits). Room was little too warm, even with the window & fans on - might be a problem on a hotter night.
The city centre is within walking distance.
Bunk bed for the third person did not make our stay all that comfortable.
