Comfortable beds, good location, helpful staff, good value, brilliant budget hotel, second time I've stayed now and I'll stay again next time I'm in Birmingham
This is the second time I've stayed and I couldn't get the Wi-Fi to work, but it wasn't crucial to my stay, just would have been a nice luxury!
Excellent stay when visiting with friends. Good prices.
When I say cheap and cheerful I don't mean it in a bad way. The rooms were comfortable the mattress was nice and firm as I like it very clean well situated with everything a stone throw away
the only downfall is that the car park is really small It got full by early evening and the side road parking are for resident or it holders only
Need a kettle
Staff brilliant and very helpful. Car parking was great value at £5 per 24 hours. The room rates are very reasonable and the rooms are very good quality considering the price.
Staff unhelpful and the place noisy to the extent I did not sleep there. Plan to write tocompny and complain
The price was excellent and close to the hippodrome, 02 academy and the bullring.
Funny smell of the towels and hallway
Everything Top marks Excellent
Good location. Friendly helpful staff. Low price. Included wifi.
Not enough parking for size of hotel. Room design is not good with regard to toilet and shower facilities. Extractor fan didn't work in the toilet. Heating for the room wasn't accurate. Bed, pillows and duvet were low quality. Wifi was quite slow (for watching anything). But was included in the price.
It was brill value for money, comfort and loved the design of the rooms. Being able to buy beer and food by the reception was a bonus!
Comfortable beds - bunk beds, so great fun for two sisters sharing after a night out! Room quite compact, but again that suited us. 24 hour reception with helpful staff and vending machines for drinks etc. Location o.k. as it is on a main road and is walking distance from the City Centre.
Hotels were busy in Birmingham that night, so we paid around £70 for our room, which we felt was a bit more than normal for this style of hotel.
Very convenient for O2 academy. Not too far to walk from city centre.
Only one lift in working order. Bed was extremely hard. Lots of road noise. Very hot in corridor and lift. No shops or bars in vicinity.
Rooms were clean and more than adequate for a quick in get changed and out again, staff were helpful and friendly
the bunk bed over the bed isnt fit for purpose, too hard to get into sober or otherwise.
Clean, comfortable bed, basic but abundant breakfast close to town centre
Traffic meant I couldn't sleep all night.
Good location, cheap prices and clean, if basic, rooms. You get what you pay for.
Smell of smoke/pot in halls, slightly dodgy looking characters around the hotel and windows that don't seal properly so you can hear traffic/noise from outside. It wasn't a comfortable place so I wouldn't stay again.
The room wasn't too big or to small and the bed was really comfy. The room got cleaned each day and we were given clean towels, soap and cups. We went out to find our bed had been made properly which was nice since we left it messy. We also had a good view which looked even better at night.
There are only a few things I didn't like and they are that the toilet was a bit small, the sink was in the actual room and when you walk in and out the shower you walk into the hotel room giving you no privacy, it didn't effect me as I was with my Fiancé but for those wanting privacy it may not be so good. A suggestion I'd like to make is maybe provide a kettle in each room and some tea and coffee with cups just as a nice welcome.
very good for the money
everything was very clean breakfast plentifull again clean and tidy good value for money and location
I had rear room top floor no problem but would think front facing rooms would be noisy bed very hard
straightforward, simple modular design. What I'd expect for this price. Quiet, warm.
TV remote control didn't work and wasn't obvious how to switch on the TV.
Price and staff were good
Outside of the reception area and downstairs area its very run down. Bed rooms did not feel that clean and the beds were not very comfortble. Glad I only had to stay for 2 night
Car parking wasn't free Hotel room looked like a hospital waiting room Wasn't comfortable and homely Was cold, heater was poor Everything was made of plastic
I like the cleanses of the room
can't accept without hot water in the room
The fact there was no mirror near to a plug so for girls to straighten & do hair was annoying. The morning we were checking out we left room to go and have some breakfast at a local café, we returned at 11:30 to find out stuff had been taken from our rooms and a decorator in there telling us he was told we had checked out!! lost some of our stuff!
The staff were lovely and the facilities are perfect.
The water in the whole hotel stopped. The TV was broken and we had to change rooms. The beds aren't made and the towels didn't get changed daily.
Location. Car parking Easy and good time for check in. Location to O2 academy. Location to city centre. Good choice of tv channels. Price.
Bed too low, have me back ache. Windows could do with a but more soundproofing.
