If all you want is a bed for the night then this is fine.No frills. No carpet(laminate),no tea making facilities, blind rather than curtains,no bedspread but all the essentials ,soap ,towels, toilet ,bed and shower.
Unable to walk along the riverside to the Hydro. Not the hotel's fault but a longer walk than necessary Entrance to hotel not at all welcoming
I liked the modern feel to the room and every thing seemed clean.
I didn't like the location of this hotel, when booking this it made out that it was located right in the city centre, however it was around a 15-20 minute walk from the centre making it harder to get there. Also I wasn't happy with the room, the bunk bed wasn't made up, when I informed the staff about this they advised that they do not make up the bunk bed. I felt this was extremely unsafe and didn't feel comfortable doing this myself. There were also only 2 towels when the room was clearly booked for 3 peoplw and feel it was very disorganised.
bed uncomfortable maids rude
It was in a pretty good location
I thought it was quite expensive, I wasn't impressed with paying over 100 quid a nite
close to the Secc and Hydro good facilities near by
room very tight even with the minimalistic design
Excellent value in a good location. Room was basic but very clean.
Not enough pillows & they were very flat so not comfortable to sleep on.
A good location for the sse
the hotel is nice and clean and valuable for the money that I have spent.
I have to ask for bath map everyday. They should provide this in every room
Awful nights sleep, could here everything from other rooms and the corridor, especially the loud drunk people. Also there should be two pillows per bed and one is not enough especially when they are so thin! The breakfast was over priced for what was on offer and the canteen was awful.
Close to the hydro.
It was clean and close to the hydro
Beds Beds Beds!!!!! They were boards with very thin matress NOT A BED NEVER SLEPT shattered to drive home. Not rested at all!!
its very basic
Easy reach for us to go to the hydro. Modern and clean room. Great value for money.
Quite tight, not a lot of space e.g. Toilet very cramped room.
staff weren't very pleasant and the wifi did not work.
Sheet on bunk bed was dirty, obviously had not been changed, no remote for television, breakfast was over priced and not worth te money, no hot breakfast available.
Everything i needed for a nights stay, very clean and modern. Stayed over on a sat night and never heard any noise. Plenty restaurants and things to do around the hotel. Recommend to people looking for a cheap clean hotel
Excellent for what was required
excellent value for money.very politeand helpful staff .rooms very spacious and clean
Comfy, clean bed Clean towels Good parking facilities Helpful staff Secure rooms Good area with plenty of things to do
The room was well presented, basic but clean and comfortable.
Expensive hot drinks - not necessary to charge so much for drinks from a machine.
location and area was great as attended the SSE Hydro - 10 min walk away - lots surrounding places to eat - even visited a Casino for the 1st time as was just across the road - room was clean, basic and did its job for the one night we stayed and money we paid £40 for 2 - would book again - staff were friendly esp the female staff member that gave us directions to the LaRotunda/SSE Hydro - would also recommend Kingdom Cabs - efficient/friendly
mattress was just a little too hard for my liking but that is just me being used to my own home mattress - no place like home lol
Clean and minimalist. Very good staff. Value for money though.
Budget meaning few facilities, could of done with a heads up re. no kettle, hairdryer, etc.
Ease of booking in when I got there and ample parking in multi storey car park
Just too sparse for me but perhaps I'm not used to 'Budget' brands. Also, not sure what was going on on lower floors but there was frequent rumbling. Wondered if there was a tube line running underneath the room but then realised we were about 6 floors up!!
