The hotel is very basic but room was clean & bed was very comfy. Free parking a bonus. Good value for money.
Quiet, clean, comfortable
WiFi a bit hit or miss!
Clean and fresh. Lift. Control over room temperature. Free parking. Close to restaurants, cinema, nice view of Quay (& Glasgow).
No kettle. Beds offered minimum comfort. No soap or toilet brush or enough towels.
Reception bar area
Very clean, only 20-30 min walk from downtown
Bed was a bit hard, shower opened right into room
Value, location, parking
overall the room was okay but i did order a disabled room not the normal one
Wash hand basin in the roomnot hygenic
The rooms were spotless , neat , bright and fresh . Great TV with all the good radio stations on it too .
The free wifi simply dose not work anywhere in the hotel . I've stayed twice within the last 2 weeks travelling from Ireland and I really was relying on some wifi to find out about the city and go places. Even in the ground area and reception it simply didn't load a thing . False advertising here ibis !!!
Handy for the city center. Reasonable price. Clean, safe and comfy. Free parking.
No ground floor rooms. Spot light bulb blown in lift.
Good location, excellent price and the rooms are always clean etc. We were looking for a good rate and somewhere to get ready/get our heads down before a night out to bring in the New Year. This was ideal!
On arrival to the hotel, I was informed at check in that they had already taken payment from my credit card which was used to secure the booking (when booking through booking.com payment is taken when you arrive at the hotel and My 2 friends and I had cash ready to pay to split the cost of the room) I was obviously unhappy about this as I don't really put things on my credit card unless absolutely necessary. I was told this was because it was New Year and they needed to secure the booking! A week later, I received my credit card statement to discover they had taken the payment on the 29th of Dec when I wasn't staying there until the 31st! Also, on returning to the hotel after our night out at about 2.30am, we had security at our door 3 TIMES within 10 minutes claiming we were making too much noise. We were literally sitting on the bed talking!! No music or anything on. We were pretty sure they had the wrong room as there was no way they could even hear us on the other side of the door. Overall, I would probably stay here again but will make sure the above does not happen again. If it does, I will not be back
The location was the best thing about hotel
Hotel not for us worst ibis I have ever stayed in
The rooms in the Ibis are basic (no tea making facilities in rooms) but the room was comfortable, the location was excellent and for £26 it was incredible value for money. If definitely use it again and recommend it to others working on a budget.
Lack of tea making facilities. I need caffeine in the morning.
Staff were really nice :)
Beds werent made. The shower!
Cant say anything negative 5-10 mins from city centre walked over easy to find hotel comfy clean tidy great shower great value for money ...will be back in two weeks .....just the walk diwn the stairs at night could be better sign posted lit up ...few people might feel intimadated with the small walk if not knowing the area ....but nt to pictures ...bowling nandos harvester allnext door
No bad experience ...just a little scary coming back 11-12 at night going down stairs threw car park got a little panicky dark went threw wrong turning ...a little scary with young child
Everything we wanted for a comfortable stay. Clean friendly staff warm and peaceful
Not a thing
Staff weren't available for help
The staff were friendly and helpful and there was plenty to do just outside the door
Had a great time and have no complaints
Clean and simple.
Small thing but a kettle in the room would have been nice. Also Entrance and reception could be more welcoming.
Comfort Friendliness Hospitality Safe parking
wifi connection sometimes proved difficult
Clean and good shower
The room was clean to a high standard, the staff friendly and helpful. For us the location was perfect.
Would have been nice to have a kettle and tea making facilities in the room. Would not mind paying a bit more to have this as an option.
For a brief stay, the room was perfectly suitable. FREE CAR PARK ☺. Variety of leisure activities and restaurants on your doorstep and easy access to Concert and Exhibition Centres. Will definitely use again.
No tea or coffee making facilities.
Competitive prices, good location, close to the town centre (5 mins by bus) and to the airport (15 mins by taxi), a few restaurants next to the hotel. 24h reception with very helpful staff. Clean rooms, free wi-fi. I will definitely recommend Ibis Budget to my friends. Really good value for money.
Comfortable and warm room (perhaps a little too warm though) great for a quick one night stay. Location is great for The SSE Hydro and the SECC however not so great for the town centre. helpful staff, however they spent a lot of time in the office and we sometimes had to wait 10 mins for someone to appear.
Our toilet didnt have a working bulb. The rooms are very stuffy. Also housekeeping staff were very noisy when talking to eachother and didnt speak very politely when guest were around
