Good,

“ The hotel was in a central location and was very cheap to stay in. I was surprised with the quality of the hotel as it is a budget hotel. It was very clean, the staff were friendly and helpful and the central location was perfect for my stay. ”

Very clean and economical. It was amazingly quiet for a city centre location. The road system in Leeds centre means a lot of driving around to find the hotel.

The room far exceeded my expectations for the budget price tag. The linen is fresh and crisp, the bed comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was amazing. The reception / cafe area seemed full of residents who live there rather than hotel guests. As a result you feel like you are running the regular smokers gauntlet as you enter reception or interrupting the laptop job searching in the cafe which feels like a hostel. Fortunately the rooms don't have the hostel feel and you can easily escape from it.

Outstanding value for money! The staff were friendly, the room was very nice and the location was brilliant! It might sound petty, but only having 2 wall sockets in a room when travelling as a pair can be quite troublesome. Trying to charge phones, laptops and other things all off one socket can be a little difficult!

Good location staff were efficient, no fuss. No decaf drinks avail 1st room I was shown was smoky smelly and stained. Poor sound proofing. Room design was like a cell! (Lino floor, bunk beds, horrible plastic stool, cheap prefab shower unit... Budget need not mean depressing and austere.

Ideal location, very close to the bus station, royal armories museum. Clean rooms, helpful staff There were no switch for light in the shower. The hotel seems to be used mostly by young guys coming to town to party. Had extremely noisy neighbors, shouting throughout the night and listening to loud music, making it hard to fall asleep

The helpful chap on reception. The relative lack of noise given that the hotel is both by a road junction and was busy. The availability of drinks/breakfast. No tea/coffee making facility

clean tidy central location the staff the young guy that checked us in seemed new and didn't know what he was doing (not his fault) the manager just wasn't interested in helping him or guiding him in the right way it looked like the manager was at the end of his shift and just interested in doing the cashing up of the shifts till also we asked about car parking and told about the nearest car park no map to get there and told it would cost £3 for 24 hrs which it cost £12 so for 2 cars £24 I believe u have a management problem at this hotel

It was very cheap and the room was rather slick. The room was far too small, there were only two towels for three people, the shower door was nowhere near opaque enough to provide sufficient privacy, the toilet was too small (both the room and the unit), the cost of shampoo & shower gel was ridiculous (gave up on showering altogether, ruined my second day in Leeds), room service disturbed us in the morning at least three times and the room floor was dirty when we checked in. Overall, I shouldn't be surprised as this is a budget hotel, but I know for a fact we could have stayed in a hostel for a few pounds more and received a much better service.

For the price the rooms were great as was the location. You can get the bus straight from the airport to the bus station in Leeds which is two minutes from the hotel. There were a lot of very young people drinking all over the hotel, while this didn't bother me it might put some people off. So if you are looking for a quiet hotel this isn't it

The Staff were friendly, good positive customer service and the rooms were very nice and well kept good quality bedrooms and in a city centre accessible location, good value for money No onsite parking which meant parking in a nearby car park for £5 would have been nice to have had an onside parking area

Price and location 1. Complete lack of car parking. 2. I'd booked 2 rooms, one for myself and one for my colleague. On arrival, only one room had been booked by yourselves. This was sorted by the hotel staff, but then on check out, the room rate for the room not booked through yourselves was £5 less than your rate! Because booking was through yourselves I was charged the higher rate which added insult to financial injury!
