Web site looks good but not a fair reflection at all Sky TV/FRIDGE/Microwave Negatives *No Parking anywhere near unless you want to keep moving your car. *Park & Ride is a 20/25 minute walk away *Room so small (Superior (!) Room 6) on one side not even enough room for a cabinet and side steps reqd to get in bed. *Curtains don't cover the windows properly and falling apart a bit *Had to get valance changed as red and cream stains all over it *Carpet needs a good clean *Room bland with no pictures or wallpaper (check the website for the difference!) *Have to eat breakfast in your room and only 1 chair *Breakfast was a basket of Muffin/Cereal/Yoghurt unless you paid an extra £8 per head to go 10 minutes down the road. *Mainly blocks of 2 storey self contained bedrooms along a road *Part time Reception

We liked the kitchenette area. The blurb said there was parking and there wasn't unless you were only staying one night. During the day you had to move your car to the park and ride and then ride in on the bus or walk to the city but you also had to remove it from there by 6.30pm or pay more. It was a pain for the four nights we stayed. The carpet was very stained and there was mould in the shower. The decor was very boutique chic but to get to one side of the bed you had to make sure you didn't catch yourself on the over-sized mirror which had metal 'fronds' sticking out. overall very disappointing.

It was a well located hotel for getting into the centre of Oxford. The room was bright and clean and the bed was comfy. Sky tv and a kitchenette. It was quite expensive considering we did not get breakfast, also having a room adjoining ours via a door was not great.

We had a fantastic stay at the Ethos hotel. The room, and indeed the rest of the property, was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised to find a small kitchenette with sink, fridge, microwave and kettle. The bed was very comfortable and the room very clean and tidy. We will definitely visit again.

The hotel was good, only a mile from city centre and also very clean. Room was great with own kitchen and facilities to keep and warm food if required. Car parking is an issue. Advertised as free parking, however you have to park 200 yards away from hotel on a unsecure road and in a area requiring a permit. However no visitor permit offered. Just have to move car outside of permitted times.

very convenient to the city and clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable. It was slightly off putting that there were no staff at the hotel and you had to get guidance from David over the phone. Parking was a bit hit and miss as I had been assured that there was parking close by but as I wanted to stay in Oxford for the following day I was told to park at another hotel which was nearly a mile away and we had to lug our cases down there the following day.

Good sized room with kitchen, nice rooms. Very clean with a nice bathroom & shower. The staff was never at the hotel and it seemed like they would prefer never to see us. The key was left in a box outside the room and if you wanted to talk to hotel staff you would have to call and wait for 10-15 minutes for anyone to show up. Rooms were nice, but there wasn't breakfast and the service was bad.

The hotel is very conveniently located for central Oxford. The room was pleasant and very convenient with in room microwave, fridge, dishes and tea making facilities. The facility is fairly new so the bathroom shower and other plumbing were modern, clean and functional. I would recommend staying there.

Room was freezing on arrival . eventually got it sorted ,could not believe we had to go into town for our breakfast , my daughter had interview at oxford a most important day for her ,missed breakfast due to latter. Also, no available car spaces despite your information to say local availability so had to park in town 20mins walk . no staff around after few hours of arrival, no staff in hotel at night . very little information in reception re cab hire etc ,

It was walking distance to the city centre. For £110 a night I would expect the little things to be taken care of. Like extremely squeaky doors,so noisy that you can hear it from other rooms. Also,if you are on a ground floor room you can hear everytime that someone flushes the chain and everytime the boiler kicks in (sometimes in the middle of the night).....let's just say it didn't allow for a goods night sleep!!

We were very well receptioned! The room was amazing! Very modern, clean and comfortable. The hotel is just 10 minutes walk from the city center. The wi-fi din´t work in our room, but there is a cable ready to use! The "breakfast" is already in the room - milk and juice in the fridge, some cereal bars, muffins and all facilities needed... The kitchen is very useful, specially with kids. We simply loved everything!
