We were very well receptioned! The room was amazing! Very modern, clean and comfortable. The hotel is just 10 minutes walk from the city center. The wi-fi din´t work in our room, but there is a cable ready to use! The "breakfast" is already in the room - milk and juice in the fridge, some cereal bars, muffins and all facilities needed... The kitchen is very useful, specially with kids. We simply loved everything!

We were surprised to see there was no parking whatsoever at this hotel and it would have been reasonable to have told us this before we travelled. We had to park an expensive car streets away It was obviously a student accommodation area. Despite booking several weeks in advance we were given a room in an annexe to the main hotel which was small, cramped and difficult for two people and a suitcase to move around in. We cannot comment on the hotel itself as we only stood in the lobby area. The breakfast consisted of two yogurts some small boxes of cereal and two cartons of fruit juice along with the usual kettle and tea bags. We would have checked out but the students were having their summer balls and all hotels we tried were full. This hotel just isn't worth the money. We could have stayed at a b&b for much less and it would probably had parking and a decent breakfast. We will never stay here again ever and we come to oxford often. Give it a miss. See above !!! The superior kingsize room should be reported as an offence against the trade description act.

The welcome was warm and very hasty, no hassle. We were taken to our too swiftly after taking a few details and it was beautiful! New, modern decor and very comfy furniture. All the amenities were there and there was no fuss. I could have just stayed in the room all night. Very comfortable.

Clean, comfortable, welcoming staff, satellite tv with lots of channels, kitchenette, good breakfast. Only one small bar of soap during my 3 days stay, expected another one to be put but didn't happen, had to ask for it in the end. Breakfast is about 5 minutes walk and opens 9AM.

Room was very fresh and quiet. When we arrived there was no one at the desk. When we called on the phone the person was somewhat disorganized. There was no information in our room. We had to call back regarding wi-fi access, breakfast, and parking.

Quiet location, although about 20 minutes walk to town center. Expected a cold in room breakfast but pleasantly surprised to find an excellent hot breakfast can be taken in a local Bistro. Room more basic than expected but kettle fridge and microwave all convenient. Nice bathroom with underfloor heating. Told at check in we had been upgraded but clearly in the most basic room not what we had booked. Lack of parking facility near to hotel but we were aware of this when we booked. Price was high for what you get although it was New Year's eve so expeced to pay a premium. Also bit odd leaving key at unmanned reception on check out.

The hotel is very conveniently located for central Oxford. The room was pleasant and very convenient with in room microwave, fridge, dishes and tea making facilities. The facility is fairly new so the bathroom shower and other plumbing were modern, clean and functional. I would recommend staying there.

Modern. Friendly staff. Clean accommodation. Near to centre of Oxford. Confusion about breakfast. On arrival continental breakfast was placed in the room including milk in fridge etc. On website breakfast was to be taken in restaurant 5 minutes away by the river. After our first day out the breakfast was removed from the room and a voucher left for our b'fast in restaurant. We tinink this was only done as we queried it on arrival.

Room was freezing on arrival . eventually got it sorted ,could not believe we had to go into town for our breakfast , my daughter had interview at oxford a most important day for her ,missed breakfast due to latter. Also, no available car spaces despite your information to say local availability so had to park in town 20mins walk . no staff around after few hours of arrival, no staff in hotel at night . very little information in reception re cab hire etc ,

Great location for central Oxford and a good price. Good size, clean rooms with good facilities, such as sink etc, but its more like a b&b as there are no facilities (such as bar, breakfast room etc) and no staff at night. There is a great pub (Head of the River) about 5 mins walk up the road. If you're just looking for a base to sleep in then this is a good choice. As above, it isn't really a hotel, just a base to sleep in. If you want more than a bed, then book elsewhere! They provide cerial etc for breakfast in your room. I would have liked a savoury option also.

Easy access to the room, the heated floor in the shower room. I didn't like breakfast in a basket - there was a toaster and a microwave, if there had been some bread, butter and eggs I could have at least had a warm breakfast of scrambled eggs. Parking was a nightmare and had to park a long distance from the hotel. The wifi had a very weak signal in the room.
