We liked the spa area

The room was lovely but more for business people rather than romantic couples. It was defo for business use.

A hotel stay begins at reception and the "welcolme" that my partner and I received prompted us to ask each other if the hotel had and concept of staff training. When I subsequently returned to reception to grab a scratch card with an internet pass code for my stay I was treated like I was an idiot and told that I needed to re subscribe every half hr. When the room was cleaned on Sat job was half finished and on return at 4pm found cleaning equipment and toilet brush in the middle of bathroom floor. Finally reception at check out had only one person despite queu of 7-8 people and since this was same girl that had checked us in with the interperonnal skills of a Natzi stormtrooper the stay was ended in the same tone as check in.

Great location, superb facilities and great value for monry.

How nice and handy it was with the shops, and the river view was wonderful.

The fact you have no parking on site, but not too bad that it`s only over the road.

We liked the ground floor room with opening window looking out to the greenery and car park beyond The pool also looked good and the reception staff very willing to help us with the History of the main building and directions to room restaurant pool etc. The last minute budget offer received through Booking.com made the overall experience an excellent choice for us and will surely return if offered again . Can't really think of anything that bad but rather just a few things that could be improved on - The meat choices on main meals could be improved to offer just a couple more choices if poss' as we are not good Fish eaters and so would have appreciated a slightly extended choice of meat , risotto , pasta. The very soft double mattress on our bed was not too comfortable as we were two and so the softness made us roll to the middle. May have needed changing for a full and better nights sleep. If we had paid full price on the room this point would have been an issue and complaint but as it was an offer we did not feel it appropriate to mention this. Thank you listening

Lovely comfy bed, spacious rooms, good local pubs and good distance to Stratford itself

Staff in restaurant need training - friendly but at dinner didn't offer for us to try the wine nor did they pour the first glass and always served my boyfriend before me! Misleading picture on booking. You stay in a relatively modern hotel the manor house you see is purely the reception area!

i booked this break for my parents as a gift and they totally loved it ! hotel was excellent gorgeous rooms and the facilities great to. my mom loves to swim each day so she loved the pool area etc.. my dad as a disability but the hotel gave them a room that could acommdate his needs and were very helpful and kind towards them. they had breakfast while there and again very pleased with the choice on offer and the waiting staff excellent !! im so glad that i booked this hotel it was a luxury short break for my parents, for my mom to have some time to relax for herself while knowing my dad was very happy drinking a cup of coffee in the room listening to radio !! great trips in surrounding area to. would def book this hotel again for my parents and might even get to go myself !

Located in a Nice village, close to stratford-upon-Avon. Lovely pool and leisure facilities. Room was nice and spacious.

Shame the breakfasts cost £15 each, and no snacks sold after 11pm when a bite to eat might be required. Even a vending machine might be sufficient. Shower head leaked so wasn't as good as it could be. The mattress could do with a turn round, felt like you were lying with your head down a hill. The iron tripped the electrics and is apparently a common problem!!

the location was good due to the surrandings and the facilities the room was ok . The only down side was the picture on the internet showes the old section of the hotel and we expected to be staying in it and not the extencive new building.

Overall good value for a last minute booking however it was a characterless hotel primarily for conferences and not for a leisure break

It is in a nice position,near enough to Stratford on Avon.We only had breakfast there but what we had was good,good choice of food.

Quiet relaxed atmosphere staff were helpfull nice room good food at dinner

Breakfast price was excessive
