It was too busy and 'corporate' for a weekend break. There were folk rushing around everywhere organising events. Breakfast was packed, but appeareed to be fairly well organised.

We enjoyed the whole experience from checking in to breakfast to the spa we will be staying again cannot wait. We tried to stay in the city centre but found it difficult to get booked my husband found Ettingham Chase after browsing on the web what a great find being £50 cheaper than those in town and being 5 miles away we did not expect it to be as good, believe me much better we have no complaints, having read reviews we did have a few small concerns but having spent the weekend we found that people must have been expecting the 5 star luxury. This is a good 4 star quality hotel.

ease of travel to our chosen location, Stratford-upon-Avon. The spar facilities are great to relax in after a days sightseeing.The food was pretty good, allthough it is a buffet service.

The room was nice, but a lack of a coffee table was unfortunate.

It was convenient whilst staying near relatives. Comfortable and relaxing.

Unfortunately, though it had been arranged by telephone through booking agents to avoid any delay on arrival, we had to wait as there was not an extra bed/cot in our family room. The booking agents actually phoned while I waited to ensure this was correct. Having travelled from Madrid with a little one for a family occasion locally it was upsetting and annoying that this was not ready onarrival as it should have been and made all the difference to us gaining rest or not. Sadly, this was a huge part of our needs which wasn't met.

The breakfast was luke warm as buffet style, terrible view from window steel storage containers & towels little tired.

Ettington Chase is primarily a conference centre, so the main emphasis is on meeting that objective, however for the short stay holiday maker it is very good, the cost is reasonable, the premises and the rooms are kept very clean. The leisure facilities, Gym/Swimming pool are good. The food is also good, the location is wonderfull, rural yet close to Stratford, Warwick etc.

I liked the swimming pool/jacuzzi. The breakfast was amazing! Lovely choices!

I did not like the bar area, and not being able to buy a nice coffee and sit in a nice little discreet corner to relax out of the way as I was on my own.

Reception staff friendly and helpful. Room clean and comfortable.

Friendly and helpful staff in all departments, quiet, traffic noise-free location, clean room, and excellent full English breakfast with plenty of choice.

A couple of ugly marks on the walls of the room, one by a bed, should have been dealt with.

Excellent full English breakfast when we only expected a continental breakfast.

Room not ready on arrival and long queue at check in

Rooms clean, swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi good and had these to ourselves which was great, breakfast was very good, overall very pleased.

Slightly lacking in character and felt a bit like a conference centre

but no lift had to carry bags up stairs and no one to help you.Very hard to find bedrooms lots of doors

Nice surrounding.

Nowadays it is strange to have only one hour internet coupons for such a big price. Unfortunately the swimming pool was out of order during whole stage (3 days)
