Bed was comfortable. And clean
Tear in a chair in the room. Noisy neighbours.
Excellent WiFi connection.
Nice quiet location near a tube station that goes straight to central London. Good value for money.
Bathroom had poor ventilation. Lot of stairs.
I stayed there before and wasn't disappointed to come back. I like the location, as there's a choice of pubs/cafes/restaurants in walking distance, but it's not too busy, also it's not too far from city centre. The bed was comfortable, everything was clean and the room was tidied daily during our 3 night stay.
The price was reasonable for the location. It is a bit dated and not the cleanest. But you get what you pay for. I wouldn't bother with the breakfast....
bed was clean, water hot, hotel was easy to find and quiet.
staff having argument when we arrived. had to go out of back of hotel to get to room entrance. no hairdryer. minimal tea making resources. no bedside light. bathroom poorly finished. glad we only used it for sleeping. had breakfast out.
I was tired so I slept great whole night
I suppose to wake up at 9 but fire alarm wake me up around 7 and there was no fire and staff didn't know how to turn it off so they went to call someone from next hotel to turn it off
Clean and comfortable, great location, 5 minute walk to nearest tube station , bars and restaurants, would stay here again .
The 'double room' only had a king single bed for two people. We did not fit on the bed together and had to sleep head to toe to even fit. Rooms very small and in need of an upgrade.
location was excellent, only a few mins from the Northern line so easy to get to the west end/ theatres; room was adequate, although ground floor at the back so no view, but no noise either; bed was comfy; nice to get tea/coffee making facilities; full english breakfast was good value for money at £7.
hot water for showers was actually too hot - nearly got burnt!
good location, cleanliness, easy booking
room too small, breakfast was charged extra when it should have been included in the price. Room was facing the main road and very noisy traffic, slept ok, but not great.
The location is spot on. There is free street parking on Sundays or you can pay to use the locked up drive way of the hotel. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The room was bright and really comfortable and light.
The room was a bit on the snug side but as cheap accomadation, was still a bargain. Our room faced the back of the hotel and it seems a few of the other guests decided to stay up late and drink. Not the hotels fault of course.
Nothing was smelly and dirty. Staff was only interested is satisfying there own needs n and not that of the customers. In nice area but did not meet standards of advertising. Never stay again.
Close to tube station and free weekend on road parking round the corner.
Noisy road. A lot of stairs to the top floor and no lift.
On arrival the staff were really helpful and welcoming. The vicinity was really close to shops bars and the underground was only a five minute walk away. The locallity was over looking Clapham Commons itself and was very pleasant when sitting outside.
Unfortunately there wasn't a bar in the lodge and given the fact it was warm outside we had to sleep with the window open as there was no air-condtioning
Easy access to central London
Window in room was broken and the room was facing the very husy clapham Common, staff unhelpful.
Cheap, Easy, Simple
Bathroom needed updating - mould in sealant, tatty shower curtain etc.
I didn't like anything about the hotel other than the location
Great location and can usually park for free nearby, but only after 4:30pm! Pretty good value for money, clean and helpful staff.
Very busy place, hard to relax after a long day. Parking sometimes hard to find. Prices go up during school holidays which is annoying for a regular business visitor, but that's London!
Location & proximity to Tube
No lift, have to haul luggage on narrow staircase. No wifi in the room.
Although it was stated that no deposit would be taken, and no payment was due until 2 days before the date of arriving, they had blocked the sum for one night 10 days before arriving!!! Very small rooms, breakfast not worthy.
It is close to undeground (2-zone) and there is shop nearby.
We were accomodated in third floor and when people have shower there where strange noises from hallway. We cannot sleep until this noise stop (everyone take shower).
This is a terrible hotel. A group that I work with stayed there this past week, sept 1st to 3rd, 2014, and all 3 rooms they stayed in were infested with bed bugs One girl in the travel party was severely bitten by the bed bugs and the hotel refused to give a refund. One of the rooms we had was so bad the occupants had to leave in the middle of night and find another hotel, because their room was crawling with bed bugs. The hotel did nothing to help , never Apologised and turned a blind eye to the situation. Do not Stay in this hotel. It is a Terrible Pest ridden place. We have photographic evidence to prove all of these claims.
