Should have hairdryers maybe
Location, very close to the clapham south underground station. Good value for money, considering it's a London near-center facility. Kind and helpful staff Warm rooms and private bathroom The wi-fi that was supposed to be used in the public areas could reach the room most of the time, which is a necessity for communication to reach family members in another country.
Could use a little more cleaning for the sheets and towels. Not anything horrid, but it's an observation. Space too restricted in the room. Practically just the bed and that's it.
cold, messy, no hot water, no water pressure in shower, building work going on, threadbare carpets, broken radiators, thin duvets, harsh lighting
1. Location is just next to the subway station. 2. Wifi was perfect. 3. I think it was a very nice stay for a couple of days (the price is fair enough!)
1. There was some problems with the fire alarm in the morning which woke us up but it was only for some seconds. 2. Mattress is too soft, you just sink in it. It can give you backache after a while.
Good value, for public transport
Wi Fi only in public areas - and no where to sit & work there. Refurb' work was going on.
I came out with bed bug bites not the cleanest place carpets rough and not fitted properly. I would definitely not recommended this place.
I had several bedbug bites which I reported to them felt disgusting and have very painful welts
Staff were very helpful and friendly and nice :-) :-) Very nice accommodation :-) :-)
Room was in the Middle of a building site :-( Access to our room was quite a negotiation :-( :-( Trying to get around building materials / equipment, furniture, shelving and changing floor type / levels. Too much trip hazards and confusing route around the accommodation to / from the room. Bed was very hard :-(
the situation, is close to the underground
all the hostel... a complety flophouse, tiny bedroom, and really dirty
Ease of transport access. Value for money
Good place to stay if you are not too demanding. Our room (triple) was very clean and it was cleaned by staff every day while we stayed there (5 nights ). Only thing i was litle bit missing was free wifi in room.
No real complaints from us. Could come again.
We liked the quick and efficient service at check-in. It's a great location, opposite the common (a big park), buses and the underground almost at the front door
It was the second time we stayed here, but this time we had a room at the front of the building and there was a lot of traffic noise (day and night). Also, we stayed for 4 nights, and each night, at different times, the smoke detector above our bed went off for a few seconds, VERY LOUDLY, and woke us up. We didn't complain because it was just a few seconds, but when we checked out I mentioned it and the receptionist said that she knows, it's because of water (? - I didn't ask her water from where). The main thing is that she didn't even apologise for this serious disturbance - not even 'I'm sorry'.
The receptionist was friendly and helpful during the checkin process. Also helpful to find me another room available on the day. The room was easy to find and the facilities were great.
As I begun unpacking I made use of all the available storage and hangers to put away my jacket and handbag. I placed my handbag upon the shelf and much to my disappointment when i removed my bag from this shelf shortly after THICK DUST came down off the shelf and on to the floor and bedding. The lack of ability to ensure all areas are clean made this a bad visit for me. I am an asthmatic and cleanliness is very important to maintaining my health is not put at risk due the improper use of a duster.
The room was located at the end of a corridor still under renovation works. Inside the room there was paint dust all over the carpet and chair. On saturday we were brutally awakened at 7.00 a.m. by an alarm which seemed to be a fire alarm (repeating at 7.30 a.m.), then by men shouting and machines working at 8 a.m. It felt like we were in the middle of a construction site and in fact, after opening the door, we realised that the corridor's thin cardbord walls had just been removed to reveal a much larger area where apparently new rooms were still being built. Also, there was no wifi connection in the room, as advertised.
location (given the price)
1 towel per person, no shampoos or utilities in the bathroom, small room with spiderwebs
Convenient location. 300m from metro station.
Too expensive for their amenities. Too much house dust. Not soundproof room. No elevator.
The room was in a great location and very close to the tube station. It was good value for money, and comfortable.
Throughout our stay we wanted to use the vending machine. It was charging the wrong prices so the guy in reception told us we couldnt have it then as he didn't have a key. We then asked for more milk, as in our room we only had 3 milks for 3 people, even though we were provided with 3 tea bags and 3 coffees. We were told we would have to wait until the next morning and get some from the hotel next door IF we went for breakfast!
Staff was very considerable, helpful and polite.
Builders stars working at around 7 am fixing the hotel and etc.
the staff was very friendly and the hotel is one of the best ones I have stayed in, I will most certainly stay again and will recommend it to my friends
The room facilities were excellent
Location is perfect for transport into central London also the pubs and restaurants in Clapham old town , Common and Balham for the evening.
Wi fi weak in my room on the third floor.
This wasn't my first time at Euro Lodge in Clapham. Always good to return there knowing it's quite ambient and environment, close to a tube station and other useful amenities such as restaurants and supermarkets.
Well there is nothing actually that I didn't like although works are being done all over the hotel, but with a very friendly manner, the receptionist apologized for this on our arrival.
The location was fantastic, very close to the tube station. The staff was friendly and helpful on the whole. You couldn't ask for a more reasonable price, I suspect, anywhere in London.
Although the room was cleaned daily, there was a damp problem, and a very unsavoury smell in the bathroom. It was cold: there seemed to be no central heating, and the portable heater supplied was not very good.
The hotel is conveniently located for tube and bus
The room was tiny and situated in a part of the hotel in which building work was going on. The sound of my neighbours travelled through the paper thin walls. The mattress was so bad that when you sat on the bed you sank straight down onto the boards. I have stayed here before and had very nice rooms, but they should not be letting this one out, especially not for the same price!
Nice staff, reasonable price, safe area
Tiny rooms, no elevators
