The location was excellent, just a short walk to Tube Station. Not too far a walk into Clapham Common or in the other direction to Balham. The price was good value for a weekend in London. The room we had was tiny, and there was no wardrobe to hang clothes in and you could only just walk around the bed. There was no bedside lights, and only 3, very fuzzy channels on the TV. 2 of the three mornings we found the fuses has blown and we had neither hot water or electricity - they did sort it, but it took a while on the first day. Breakfast was an experience, staff not particularly happy or welcoming, and it was basic, but not a good atmosphere in the breakfast room so we only had it on the first day - couldn't face it again. On the final day, checkout was by 11am, and they were chasing us out from about 10.40 onwards... |

Really dirty, small and uncomfortable. Should not be classed as a hotel. Hair in the shower, mould, dirty carpets. |

location was really good for brixton and price was very good for london the noise from a loose drain in the road outside the hotel, everytime a car went over it it made a loud noise, not good when you have a room at the front of hotel, please get the council to fix it. |

Very good staff, friendly and helpful. Good location, near tube station. In the shower it was hard to turn on and off the water. Window facing to a wall ... but we didn't choose the hotel for a nice view, just to stay during a night. |

This hotel couldn't have been much better for us. We were able to store our bags in the lobby and then tour London before we checked in. The tube station is within zone 1-2 and just a 3-5 minute walk from the hotel- as well as grocery, restaurants and a big park. The tube only takes 10 min or so to get into the city. The breakfast was juice/ tea/ coffee with cereal or toast and jam. Not expansive but a great deal for the cost. The beds were pretty hard but manageable. The room was clean and we had our own bathroom so no complaints. The rooms were small but what we came to expect from non-American hotels. We weren't here for the hotel, we were here to see the city so this was just what we wanted. The staff was helpful. Great deal. |

Tube station and shops are near. There is a nice big park in front of the hotel. Situated in a nice, lovely part of London. Room (especially the bathroom) was very small. The nearby road is quite noisy (with closed windows it is better). Lack of bedside reading lamps. |

As London is one of the most expensive places in Europe, this hotel was quite good choice for someone with small budget, who wishes to stay close to the centre of London. The hotel is in the end of zone 2, it takes just few minutes to get to london's main places if you use the tube. The hotel staff was nice, the receptionist showed us the way to our room. The breakfast was a bit surprising - i wouldn;t ecpect any breakfast included - although it was a bit poor. I wouldnt expect anything better though. For someone looking for a short break in London and just a place to sleep, without much luxury, it's nice and cheap option. There was a bit noisy at night due to the airplanes, someone with a light sleep might have problem to fall asleep. Apart from this - fine hotel. |

It was near Clapham South underground station. There was no lighting in the bathroom. The wifi did not work in rooms. Receptionist gave me an already occupied room first and when I opened the door I was shocked (the occupants were shocked too) |

The staff were very helpful, rooms were always clean, great location and scenario. Excellent for travellers or for young people who go on holiday. The rooms are small and the breakfast room can get very crowded; still these issues cannot be considered as cons if one's primary aim is to travel and spend as little time as possible in the hotel - Highly Recommended |

It was a good location for us. Only a short walk to good restaurants and close by where friends were staying. No elevators and we were on the top floor, 49 steps up!! Lugging two heavy suitcases up 49 stairs was a real bummer. The room itself was clean but very ugly and old. Lots of street noise. Would be a poor choice in very hot or cold weather as the windows were single glazed and old and didn't close properly. |

Nothing reminded me of a hotel and I am 100% honest. the cleanliness of my room as well as the whole hotel, the type of room I asked was not the same I 've seen and booked online. Poor breakfast and services facilities in general. |
