For the money paid I really can't complain at all 5 minutes walk from the tune and right next to Clapham common. Stayed for one night and was in my own so the small double bed was just right. I would stay here again for the price that was paid.
Bed was very short but was clean
Close to metro station Close to restaurants and bars
Very Little!! Well, the location was good i suppose.
Where do I start.. There was major building work that we were'nt told about, the room (131) was freezing!! No heating and it was grubby!! I would have had a more comfortable and better night sleep if i camped on the common!! Granted, it was cheap for where it was but my god it was bad!!
It says free wifi, but we were never given the pass code. Other than that it was a great stay
Me and a friend were looking for a place to stay for quite cheap after a concert at the O2 Academy Brixton. I found that this hotel was one of the best for location and value for money. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a place to stay after a night out. The bathroom was very modern. Very close to a TESCO and the tube station is a 3 minute walk along one road.
Wouldn't recommend for more than 2/3 nights however as the room we had was quite a small twin room.
The room did exactly what it said. It was big enough to spend time in if needed and the bed was comfy. Perfect location for the common and Clapham High Street.
The view and the twin room were good . The location was great.
I just wish the tea and milk were a bit more generous and the shampoo etc, also the two towels were a bit mean. We managed though.
Excellent location!!! A bus stop right in front of the place, 2 minutes from th closest tube station, not far from a rail station and just opposite of the Common : )))
No central heating in the room and though it was small I think the heater wasn't enough. The WiFi was quite poor.
The young receptionist lady was friendly and that always makes a difference to a hostel stay!!!
Clean and comfortable room, close to the underground station
Excellent location Awesome access to everywhere 200 meters from the tube Nice neibourhood
Horrible bed, too many stairs and an indiscriptable breakfast, i think i have never seen a breakfast so poor and untastable. The decoration is tired and you definitely need a big makeover
I cannot believe that some reviewers are complaining about this hotel. My room was spotless and warm. The staff freindly and helpful. The location is excellent. All this at a very, very reasonable price. I have used this and its sister hotel before and will use them again.
We got small, but overall comfortable double room overlooking Clapham Park . Staff were very friendly and ready to help on a request. This hotel is very busy place which we did not expected this season. Our expectations weren't high, but our stay was surprisingly comfortable.
Wi-fi could be available in all the rooms not only in common areas.
Convenient as near train station with bus stops around too. Easy to find halal food. There are also supermarkets nearby. Lovely park across. Felt safe and secured that I allowed my younger son, aged 11, to just use iPad at the public area. as I also witnessed the security personnel politely handled a trespasser who was drunk, on Christmas eve at the receptionist area. My staff are friendly and helpful. All in all, my family felt good and had a pleasant experience during our stay at Euro Lodge Clapham.
Perhaps, to improve on the storage room - possibly by installing chain and lock for the guests' luggages.
nice staff free wifi right next to the tube - easy to find and great location
vermin in our bed!!!! dirty bedding
So big and paid so little! Loved!
tube station right near by
very hot water scolded me but reported and and delt with effectively
Poor quality hotel all in all. Upon arrival myself and my partner were ignored by the desk woman Anna, who was more concerned with an alarm going off. Check in was said to be at 3pm however we arrived at 11am as we were unaware of check in times. Anna at first did not want to help or give us other options other than, solely repeating that our room would not be ready until 3pm, so we would have to wait till then. We offered to pay more for any other available room and suddenly a room was available at £25 extra. All in all I paid £34 + £25 for a room that was not worth the price of £34. I would never come back to this "motel" nor recommend this to a friend or enemy.
it was warm, that was nice near Tesco and Tube station + Night buses to the City
bathroom was small and colą room was very dusty the reception guy (afroamerican) was behaving like we were interrupting in something super important by asking about our rooms WiFi was a tragedy - every 10-15 minutes something was going wrong very expensive breakfast
vending worm cans...
Terrible staff, not helpful at all!!! What they call breakfast is a dry old bread with butter! WiFi sucks and is turned off at night!!! Room is very cold!!! Toilet stinks!!! Too expensive for being so bad!!!
The staff were especially helpful. very courteous. Always polite and spoke very good English.
The room was much smaller than in the photos. Queen size bed but only accessible from one side.
I resided at Euro Lodge Clapham South with my mom and it was a very nice stay. Staff was very nice. Room was cleaned every day and also fresh towels were provided daily. TV was in the room and also the possibility to hang our clothes. What I also loved about Clapham is the nice safe area. Underground station is nearby, also TESCO and Sainsbury's. There was also a little place to eat KEBAP and fast food near the Underground station.
WIFI hardly working in the room Using the computer at the reception is not free if you want to check-in your flight and print out the ticket. Fee for luggage storage.
Location was good, only a short walk to a tube station. Friendly staff. No parking but was offered a parking space at the back of the hotel for a small charge.
small rooms for the price
