I requested ground floir room at back on arrival was put in tiny box on second floor very clastraphobic
the double room too small, no space for opening the luggage, you need to opening the luggage on the bed. noisy of surrouning, even the people walking in upper floor, you can hear clearly.
Location was great, Tesco is near, room was clean and the city is great.
Sleeping in bed was terrible, my back was hurt and I could barely walk.
Dated, Smelt, Most uncomfortable 3 Nights Sleep..... Felt like i stayed in a prison Cell
Location, if you're visiting Clapham Common for anything, it's perfect. Good balance of location and cost.
No cooling in the room, luckily London wasn't particularly hot during my stay!
Some rooms are really nice but the one I stayed in the first night was in a separate part of the hotel, was not really clean. It was very damp and noisy in the morning (starting around 6:30am). There was also some mould in the bathroom and all in all, the room was pretty awful.
The room was grimy, dirty and the condition bad Quit a desapointment
This is the location we wanted to be so suited our purposes as we used only for sleeping. The room was very small just fitting the bed. It was relatively clean. The bathroom was also very small but hot shower.
Clean hotel, comfy bed in good location
Shower door was broken which could be fixed.
Shower and bathroom - excellent for London. Also very clean and well kept bathroom for London. Close to tube station (Clapham South) - about 2 minute walk.
My room on ground floor front facing - a bit noisy because of people sitting outside having a drink - it personally did not bother me, but if you are affected easily by noise then may be a consideration.
Location was very good for use of underground and Brixton academy. Skatepark across the road from hotel which was a massive bonus! Breakfast was very nice.
Bed's were quite uncomfortable, hard mattress.
Good attention and breakfast
Room was very hot and insufficient ventilación.
Location kind staff quiet place.
Weak Wi-fi Small room Expensive pc use
Very poor hotel
- Hotel is in the process of rennovation - Close to bus services for Central London - 10 minute walk to Tube and restaurants in Clapham - Helpful staff
- THE BED - was to small for 2 largish people - Rooms bathrooms are small - OK for a couple of nights not longer
This place was easily accessible to the underground. The reception staff were pleasant and for a duration of one night after a gig at the O2 academy in Brixton, I would recommend this hotel.
A member of staff knocked our door twice before checkout time at 11:00 asking if we were checking out today. Surely it is on the hotel records how long we are staying at the hotel and should guests be disturbed before the allocated checkout time? There is a phone in the room...couldn't they have phoned rather than knocked the door to enquire??
Excellent ace to stay in London for a short stay. Very close to metro , great for halal food only 2 station down on the subway (tooting Broadway ). Above all the receptionist is great.
Noise from the traffic wake you up early in the morning.
Location near underground. safe
Rooms very small. Rooms and corridors smelly - old and wet
No wardrobe. Too small room. Toilet door couldn't open wide as the bed blocks it.
- Small room. Fun full of dust. Disgusting. Room key stopped working every day. Room extra warm. Very noisy (from outside road)
good location, tesco store next door, close to metro and at the end also the double room that we got on the second day.
On the day of arrival we were put on the top - bellow roof tiny room - 2x2m. There was hardly space for one and I am not joking. So if the other one wanted to small bathroom (its door couldnt be opened properly due to not enough space), the other one had to jump on the bed to allow space. Not speaking about the space above our heads in bed, due to slopped ceilings. It is kind of room for maid. So I wanted to see standard double room and received reply from reception guy that all double rooms are same maybe without slopped ceiling and that all other rooms were taken up already. But I booked this double room at least month ago!!!! The next day we were put into the room that I actually booked and paid for - total difference! There was much nicer and bigger bathroom (not with small mirror on the door), not speaking about luxury to have hairdryer, fridge, small table with armchair and spacy bed. Honestly, I think that they try to accommodate as many customers as possibly. And if there is one that does get the roof room and doesnt complain (I dont believe that somebody would pay for double room and not complain) then it is only good for this hotel. But appart from this experience the stay was good at the end. Maybe one more remark - towels seemed to be more grey than white and they really seemed to be not washed properly (if at all). So I advise you to take your own towel.
Sorry but nathing i dident finished my nighet ther i laft at 18.00 pm to fond ather hotel
Evry thing sorry.
Convenient location Cleaning every day
Very small rooms Very expensive rooms Expensive and unsavory breakfasts There is no ventilation system or conditioner - so very stuffy rooms without fresh air
The price, location and room service was ok.
The least hotel room I've ever slept in. The photos on the site didn't match the actual room size we were given. The room was so tiny that the free space for walking was only half a meter. We could barely fit our suitcase there. No air conditioning, bad ventilation. It was hot.
