the location and friendly helpful staff
no early check in
Great location and great value for money
Very central with really helpful staff.
Mattresses were a little "used" but the room was fairly large and very clean however it was tired.
Location Price Facilities
wifi didnt work. fire alarm ring five times in around 5am！but nothing happened at all！I didnt have enough sleep and failed in my interview！
the location is great
some idiot set off the fire alarm at 5;30 in the morning and the free wifi did not work
BEDS - we slept on the floor, it was better idea, mattress absolutelly not good even for sitting, unbeliveable, I had never seen something like this before, funny shape, totally unhealthy position! :D BREAKFAST - horrible, awful green ham, bad taste eggs and disgusting plastic fruit-yogurt. So I think this BED & BREAKFAST? Rediculous.
Excellent value for money, great location. Very friendly staff and great customer service especially from Debbie. Decent bar and breakfast
The bar could have stayed open later than midnight. Loads of football fans staying at the time and you would have made a lot more money!
Comfy bed, location, 24 hour drink
Staff, location, price
Basic but great value
Great spot. Central location, Friendly and helpful staff, excellant value for money, nice bar/restaurant downstairs, and found a grand Irish bar within a 10 minute walk belting out IRA songs all night. All in all a great experiance in a great hostel in a great City. Will return.
Great value for money
1 person came in bleezing drunk and spewed everywhere in the toilet then left the shower running for about 45 mins
The location could not have been more central and the staff were both friendly and helpful. The facilities provided excellent value for money and I would make a point of staying at the Euro Hostel Glasgow on my future visits to the city.
private room & facilities close to places we were visiting
not many power points in the room for three girls getting ready we had to be patient
Bearing in mind this was a hostel, and only £14 each per night for a private, ensuite room, absolutely excellent! Sheets were a bit hard and papery but the value for money was fantastic! I'll be seeing the Eurostar hostel staff my next, on a budget, trip! Thanks!
Sheets a bit hard, but def not complaining as value for £ amazing!
Room clean, pleasant staff. Good shower.
A bit noisy, however, at this price..... a no brainer!
Cheap and mostly cheerful and great location. Have stayed here a few times with hubby and never had any complaints until now. Brought the 3 kids this time.
Had to take disabled daughter who uses a wheelchair out main entrance and walk round to bar entrance as there are stairs to lower bar area and upper level was full. Kids room was freezing while ours was too hot. Kids didn't like that there was no TV in their room but they survived one night without. Paid for cooked breakfast but there wasn't much there to choose from.
The location and the breakfast
The young women at the reception was not very helpful....speaking very fast and a little rude
Myself and my sister had a private twin room and to be honest it was better than most B&Bs and Hotels we had stayed in. We got a special deal because we booked early and it was astonishing value. The staff and the snacks in the bar were great, the atmosphere was amazing. I wished we had stayed longer to make the most of the facilities. 100% recommend this to anyone in the Glasgow area!!!!
Only grips was the mattress was too soft but everything else outweighed that!!!
The staff was great and the location is absolutely perfect if you want to stay in the city centre.
3 plugs in a 8-beds room is insane in my opinion. The mattress was too soft and the first night I could barely sleep. There is no control and some roommates were drinking, smoking and making a mess until 5am.
It's a good location. The beds are nice and comfy. They provide locker bins but make sure to bring your own lock. There's a nice communal are with some games and books and a kitchen and a bar on the ground floor.
There are not enough electrical plugs in the room if the room is full. The plugs are also clustered in corners of the room so there's no way to charge your phone and be near or in your bed with your phone except in one bed in the room. The elevator is extremely slow. The internet only works on the first three floors (none of which are dorm floors) and once you log in you get fifteen minutes online before they kick you out and have you log back in. Just a personal experience, I seemed to be the only one with this problem, but my card to get in the room never worked. I was only there for two nights and didn't notice because someone was always in the room to let me back in, but I went down to reception twice to get my card fixed and despite them telling me both times it would work again, it just never did.
Single ensuite rooms with double bed. Very good value. Very decent cooked breakfast with continental selection. No need to make yourself in a kitchen.
Single rooms being next door to bunk rooms - noisy.
Location was amazing, right in the center of town. Staff were friendly and room was very clean.
Going back home... :(
Clean, practical, towels & bedding ready, great location.
