Being in a 4 bed dorm as opposed to a 14 bed dorm was good The orange juice was gone bny the time I went to get breakfast. and wasn't refilled. The OJ is what i was looking forward to most about the breakfast.

The proximity of the Euro Hostel Glasgow to Glasgow Airport is spot on. It’s about 20 to 25 minutes by Bus 500. Good location to explore Glasgow and its environs. Buchannan bus/coach station is not far from the Hostel. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. Good continental breakfast was served every morning. Small clean and cosy Twin bunk bed room. The hostel has a fully equipped kitchen on the first floor for self- catering guests. This we used a lot. The switches, remote controls, tv and toilet facilities were in good working condition. Free wifi Internet connection available throughout the hostel. Euro Hostel Glasgow is good for long stay. Good value for money for 5 nights. Our preference will be to stay at the Hostel again whenever we visit Glasgow in future. The downside is that the lifts need to be refurbished. Unfortunately during our stay my wife and I had the hassle to take the stairs to get to lower floors. The central heating system in the rooms need to be refurbished or replaced as well to get the right kind of heat in the rooms. The rooms are not sound-proof. The Hotel could do better by replacing the shower facilities with new ones in future.

Staff are horrible Beds are very old and uncomfortable and dirty Lifts continually break Shower works on and off breakfast is a joke, you have to pay extra on top. Rooms are very small and smell like wet paint. Window opens about a centimetre and you cant turn the heater off. Very loud from traffic noise. House keeping just walk straight in without knocking. Toilet leeks.

The value for money is really good when staying at Euro Hostel as a family of 4 in the family room 904 with the ensuite bathroom. The value for money is really good as it includes the continental breakfast buffet. It is located right in the center of Glasgow, so it's easy to get around by foot. They have a parking rate with a nearby parking garage, however they could indicate the location of the parking better, as there are so many parkings in the area due to the St Enoch Mall and the train station, and the one that the hotel uses is a bit hidden if you don't know the area, despite it being a 3 min walk away from the hotel. We are easy sleepers, but for some travellers it may be a nuissance with a room facing Jamaica street, as you can hear the trains passing the bridge, but again, not a problem for us at all. Our room seemed to have a locked door in the room that was interconnecting with the next door room, and the second night that room was occupied, and you can clearly hear the others in the other room, so it would have been nice with a door that closes between the hallway and the bedroom itself.
