In Glasgow city center on one of the main shopping streets, this hotel is just 220 yards from Glasgow Central Train Station. A buffet breakfast is available and all rooms have a private bathroom.
Score from 3002 reviews Good
It is just few minutes from the central train station. Rooms were locked and had big lockers where you can keep your stuf. Reception open all night. Ok for one night stay.
Room with four dormitory beds was very small, not enough space for four people to move around. Noisy street. Big windows, not cosy inside. Matress was very soft and uncomfortable.
nice staff, friendly and helpful. Good location. Felt safe there as a lone customer. Corridors etc smell clean and pleasant.
A shutter blind on window would be better to allow privacy aswell as light instead of having to close curtains for changing ect. Felt bit dark when not wanting to shut the world out.
Clean, simple room with reasonable facilities and a good breakfast.
Seemed a bit chaotic and unorganised at the front desk but staff were friendly
Everything everything. ,,!!!
There was nothing I didn't like about my stay. I was slightly nervous to stay in a hostel as it was my first time, but I have to say this place is the same as a hotel, as we had a private twin room. Location was perfect, just off Argyle Street and a ten minute walk from Queen Street Station. Staff were welcoming and really nice.
Room was new, very clean, ensuite bathroom., hostel close to markets and pubs, very good location.
Lots of noise, loud shower noises from room above in the middle of the night, hears a lot from other guests...
It is lıke a hotel best hostel i have ever been and the price is reasonable
- location, - price.
- looks a bit like a prison, - rust + dust.
Everything very clean & functional. 24hr desk
Nothing much to dislike. The one time I went for breakfast after about 9, the choice was limited and I had to use a cup for my fruit juice (tastes exactly the same though!!)
Location, laundry, internet
Wifi was a bit patchy. Charge for anything extra that may be free of charge in smaller hostels e.g holding luggage, padlocks
Everything was good for the price.
Too much noise (eg from music) in the bar.
Loved the central location, accommodating staff, great bar and dining room for a good price.
Loud party going on next door and in the hall in the middle of the night, as well as in the street outside of the Hostel made it difficult to sleep.
Excellent Location !
The shower is OK !
It is located within a walking distance to shopping malls and pubs.
They didn't provide television in the room and the towels are per request and comes with extra charges
very clean quiet room with a view, and everything that was needed. staff responsive to a minor problem with the shower. would stay there again as so convenient for station and shops etc. helpful having handwash and shower gel as well as fluffy towels. more like a budget hotel than a hostel
not being able to turn the shower off after use! however, staff got onto this straightaway. everything else was ok.
This place is in centre of the city. You can go anywhere easily from this hostel.
When i was in that hostel this place was full of the students and this sitaution was irritating me all night. I wanted to let you know just in case
good location private room great price
wasn't luxury, but at the price it was more than adequate towels extra - so pack one :)
no towels in room no kettele
The location was excellent. The place is halfway between a hostel and a hotel so enjoys the advantages of both. Optional breakfast was passable and good value. Staff very helpful. If you book early you get the best rates.
I had a private room which was on suite. It had a bunk bed and the first night I slept on the lower one. The mattress had seen better days. It was also Friday night and there was a lot of guest noise. Not a surprise as Glasgow is a party town. I migrated to the top bunk for the rest of the stay and slept like a log!
socked room carpet, locker not label according to bed,
Great location, friendly staff, you won't make a mistake if you book a breakfast for £4 in advance. If you're looking for overnight parking, I recommend Glasgow Q-Park St. Enoch for £3.
Central location Spacious rooms Good 'all you can eat' breakfast -including hot options Good value
Bit of noise from late night revellers, (but not too bad!) Mattresses on bed a bit sunken in
Cheap and cheerful, comfy beds
Street Noise, dirty linen perhaps that's slightly cruel but 1 out of 3 was not the cleanest, smell of smoking in rm, cleanliness does not seem to be a propriety.
Good basic accommodation
