Right in the city centre. Friendly and helpful staff. Bathroom and kitchen are cleaned regularly. Maybe time to replace the carpet... |

Central location close to all areas of interest. Good quality of shared facilities esp kitchen/rest areas. Noise on weekends from nearby clubs - noise early weekdays traffic & roadworks. |

The availability of a self-contained apartment with 4 bedrooms and car parking. When we arrived the kitchen had no cutlery, crockery etc - only a kettle |

The hostel was in a good location, right in the city centre and easy to find. It was cheap. The accomodation itself was very basic. The rooms were quite cramped - I stayed in a twin room. The lift didn't work. I stood at reception for 30 mind waiting to check in, there was not enough staff available. |

It was central, so within walking distance of sights, shops, etc. It was not a hotel. A hostel is different, more basic in facilities, as this one was. It was somewhere to stay for a short time. |

Excellent value and central location. Very basic, shared toilet/shower facilities, long checkin process and noise from outside streets. |

It was good that we were put in the building with a lift. A must for most of us over 50 One shower between all of the rooms was poor.We had to que for the shower in the morning which nearly made us late for the train. I think you should consider putting in more showers as most people like to shower every morning. |

Location was handy for central Edinburgh Make it clear that rooms are not en-suite as I thought we had a toilet and shower in the room and expected to go along the corridor for a bath, this was not the case and there wasn't even a bath to share just one shower between 5 rooms. Also the floors were ridiculously creaky. Our door handle was broken and there was no safe in the room either. Room was not as described at all. |

The staff does thier best to make sure the stay is as good as possible and is very helpful. The building is used for students during the year so it feels more like being back in college than staying in a hotel or a hostel. |
