Extremely clean and comfortable bedroom. Friendly staff. Good value for money. Very good location to explore Whitby.

Good breakfast but we very disappointed when informed that it would be served between 8 and 9 am. We would have liked to be able to sleep a bit more!...

The fan in the bathroom did not work and it would be helpful to have more hooks or places to put towels.

The weekend began with a warm and friendly greeting. The room was spotless and very comfortable with a delicious breakfast served with a smile.

Very Clean, large room and comfortable bed. Owners Ann and Michael very friendly and helpful. Breakfast good. Walking distance not too far to shops and attractions. Would definately stay again.

Breakfast could have been better, sausage tasted plain and a bit cheap.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay, we thought that the room was comfortable as was the bed. The hosts were helpful and friendly and the breakfast was delicious. Every where was clean and well presented.

Warm, cosy room (not a given in England, we found). Good mattress on the bed and all the necessary comforts in the room, including electric water kettle and complimentary tea tray. The hosts made us feel very welcome and maintained the room discreetly. The breakfast was hearty and tasty - although the serving time was a bit early for us. Definetely going to come back here whenever we come to Whitby Goth Weekend again. Thank you, Ann and Michael!

Typical English shower - had to wait for a good while before the water warmed up. The bathroom did not have its own radiator and humidity-reducing ventilating, as in Finland, and thus the room did not dry after shower as rapidly as we are accustomed to. We did not consider these to be faults in the room but rather indicators of cultural differences between Finland and England. Actually, I was pleasantly surprised by these bathroom facilities.

The Staff were brilliant. Made you feel totally welcome. The breakfasts were excellent.Will definately book again.

Friendliness of owners, location to Whitby, good breakfast, clean and tidy.

Problems with parking but that is a problem everywhere in Whitby.

Easily the best b&b I've stayed at in Whitby (and I've done a lot of them) very friendly atmosphere, good food with a vegetarian option, nice room, comfy bed. Pretty much everything you need really, would definitely go again. Would I reccomend it to others? Well, yes... But not too many people, I dodn't want it to be booked up next time I want to go :)

everything was fantastic about the place the owners ,the room ,the food ,the bed and the cleanlyness of the place .

The owners were very friendly and welcoming, breakfast was excellent, the rooms were clean and tidy with fresh towels and toiletries.

Parking was an issue, you can park on the street, but if it is a busy weekend you have trouble parking.

We were greeted by ann and michael when we arrived they made us feel very welcome. The room was clean and tidy and comfortable. When we went down to breakfast the dinning room was very well set out. You could choose from different cereals or fruit or both if you wanted. Tea or coffee, plenty of toast and the full english breakfast was excellent. Well cooked and well presented. My husband really enjoyed it and sent his compliments to the chef. We will definately return next time we go to whitby. Janet and Dennis Sheffield
