The kitchen staff were excellent and couldn't do enough.
Friendly good location clean nice breakfast
Close to Paddington
Old and creaky
Location is very good for central London activities
There is no lift and they do not consider that families have lots of luggage. We were on the top floor with our baby and not able to move. A reason for choosing this hotel was the car parking. There was no car parking :-(
Location near to stations and reasonable eating outlets within 5 minutes walk good breakfast choice of continental or English staff very polite and helpful looking forward to staying again on our next to london
I had problems with hot water during the morning
Staff was very nice, good for access to Paddington
Good breakfasts and free Wi-Fi
Breakfast excellent WIFI excellent Staff kindly lent us adapters for electric plugs
Phones in rooms didn't work at all Staff did not deliver phone messages Not enough electrical outlets in rooms No elevator, no visible busboy.
Simple room, but clean and quiet. Good breakfast cooked fresh. Good value.
Very friendly staff, ready to help and answer any request, good position - near two tube stations, restaurants and other services, but quiet area anyway.
Tiny bathroom with no hot water at night .some silly but essential things missing- a chair in the room, a shelf for toiletries in the bathroom.
Location was brilliant, breakfast was well presented and plenty of it the serving staff were efficient and friendly, kitchen and eating area was very clean. Bathroom was clean but a bit small. Towels clean and white. Even though we had checked out we were still able to leave our bags at reception so we could enjoy the last day without carrying our luggage with us.
Hotel and Rooms in desperate need of updating, floor slopped and uneven, only 3 t bags and 3 milk supplied, pillows were so skinny even folding them in half didn't make any differerence, bed had an annoying squeak when ever you moved, no bulbs in the over head bed light, net curtain was rather dirty. The guy on reception was miserable and un friendly when we arrived, told us our room wasn't ready and to come back at on even though when I booked there was an option to choose your check in time, we were able to leave our bags and go out, when we returned a few hours later there was a very friendly lady on reception. Rooms were very basic.
no towel no light on the fouth floor sidewalk
Francessca was very nice.
Uneven floor used chewing on side table dust in the air from duvets toilet seat broken Shower kept flooding the floor Very old building but there was no need for it to be so run down.
Location was excellent and lots of restaurants in area. Close proximity to underground.
Room was a bit dated, draperies falling off window, washroom extremely small - triple room was tight with 3 people and luggage.
Close to shops n station & convenient. Staff is friendly
The best thing about it is its location, which is very convenient if you're coming and going to Heathrow since it's just around the corner from Paddington. The staff and the breakfast were fine.
At the price it's not really good value for money - pokey room at the top of the house on a really humid day with no air conditioning (just a small fan) and no cross breeze. I'd just come from Germany where the hotels were, without exception, excellent facilities and at a reasonable cost. But then, what in London these days is good value for money? It's outrageously expensive.
Good location, friendly staff, decent breakfast, reasonably clean and good location. Close to tube station, shopping area and Hyde Park.
Room was quite small with a very compact bathroom. Very hot in room owing to being very warm outside. Small fan was in the room but made little difference
Quiet area Close to the station Safety Free wifi Staff are friendly
Cups we used didn't wash in the second day. Towels were not clean and smelly. We didn't have right sets of towels in the first day, and second day there was only one set without bath mat!
Located nearby tube station Paddington. Friendly staff. Possibility to choose between english and continental breakfast. Not only a bed linen, but also a very comfy duvet.
In the room were no possibilities to put things anywhere - neither shelves for an alarm clock or my pair of glasses nor hooks to hang up wet clothes. The mattress was worn out, but you get used to it. No possibility to lock the window, although I had a joint balcony with the next room.
Great location, clean, helpful staff, breakfast. Recommend it.
Price is high, but so are all accomodations in London.
Bedside lamps didnt work. Curtains badly or not hung, could not close them
Location is good, breakfast was excellent, staff was friendly and helpful.
Facilities are quite poor, there were no hairdryer and shampoo in the bathroom.
There is no lift in the hotel so I wouldnt recommend people with massive luggages to stay.
