The hotel was extremley clean and the breakfast was value for money. The staff go the extra mile to make guests feel welcome. It is within walking distance of the town centre and has a wide selection of restaurants and take aways nearby. Another plus side to this hotel is the fact that it has a large car park.We would definetley stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone .

As we checked in the hotel staff were very help full.It was value for money.I Loved the hotel as it was a short walk to the westfield shopping centre.the breakfast was a bit dear £8.50 for each person.but we got small plates and they only charged for one which was great.I Had my little boy with me which he loves drinking chocolate ,they didnt do this in hotel but they sent me over to there other hotel cross the road to get some which I though was very kind of them.I Would recommend this hotel and I will be coming back. I didnt like the way they didnt change the sheets for the 5 days I was there.

When i arrived at the hotel the gentleman on the reception was very approachable and helpful, once he gave us our key cards we went to our rooms and i realised that i had forgot to pack my shoes, the same gentleman on reception was again very helpful and told me that there was a shopping area 5 minutes away, he gave me a map of derby and pointed me in the right direction. Thank you to that guy!

The room was big and clean there was a 32" Plasma TV with Freeview Channels and the full English breakfast was great. The Staff were friendly and the location was excellent right near the Railway Station There was just one thing. The shower head was loose, I asked reception if they could get someone to fix it, but nobody came to do it

Room was spacious and comfortable. Well maintained. Staff were helpful. It's position in Derby meant a short walk into town, or alternatively a very quick and regular bus service. There were good restaurants nearby. Very good Samsung tv. Noise. Bedroom was facing main street.

The staff were friendly, the hotel was clean and good value for the special discount price that we received. The food was ok but could have been a little warmer. It was a buffett style breakfast and with few people in the hotel the food had been stood for sometime.

The hotel was warm, clean, and nicely appointed. The free car park was a helpful touch and it was a bonus to be able to use the covered spaces. It is in a good location, very close to the railway station and easy walking distance to the city. I took my own special soap and left it in the shower but it was removed by the cleaner on the first night. I spoke to the person at reception who was helpful and apologetic but the same thing happened again on the last night, so I had no soap for my final shower. I had not touched the hotel's own soap, and mine looked quite different, so there was no confusion.

On the up side you had a very welcoming young lady on the night shift who suppied me with an iron and board I'm sorry to say there is nothing good I can say,the room was smelly like it had been used as a smoking room! The lift was right next to the room and it was worn and very noisey! The bed linin had a blood spot on it it was on the outside of the duvet the heating had not been put on when I got into the room so it was cold, and not welcoming the breakfast was not very good and service I have to say it did take two waiter to bring me coffee. .
