European Hotel  

Found this hotel to be tucked away from the main hustle and bustle around Kings Cross Station, but also a very short walk. Upon entering it feels cosy and clean, The receptionist was very pleasant and dealt with my check-in quickly. Room was on the ground floor at the rear of the building which turned out to be very quiet with no noise at all. It was a bit on the small side but it had everything in it that I required as I was only using the room to sleep in as I work in London all week and this suited me down to the ground. Bed was comfortable and clean and the room was cleaned every day. What more can you ask for. Would I stay here again... Definitely, for the price I couldn't complain. I have been told by colleagues who have also stayed here that the breakfast is excellent although I couldn't verify that as I didn't have it.... But it did smell nice....

The location

It was not a real HOTEL, just a bed and breakfast, and so the price was very high for that

Decent English breakfast, clean rooms (also the bathroom), small rooms but ok, everything worked well including bulbs, shower, television, tea making facilities; and the location near King's Cross couldn't be better

I would have top rated the hotel in category "value for money" had it not been for the very impolite staff; we certainly didn't feel welcome and were very pleased that we had no problems that called for their assistance. It would have been difficult to obtain I think!

Price and location to Kings Cross Station with 24 hour reception

Couldn't get breakfast before 7.30 on a Sunday and I was gone by 7.00

One of the worst hotel I have ever stayed in

This hotel was terrible - disgusting and dirty. There was mould in the bathroom and shower therefore unable to take a shower. Some of the bed- sheets also had mould on. Only stay here if it is an absolute must although we will definaetly never stay there again. Whilst the family rooms are large the place is dirty and therefore not very relaxing not being able to wash or sleep!!

I stayed at European Hotel due to its very close proximity to St.Pancras Station as I had an early morning 6.50 am Eurostar to catch. The hotel is very basic but served my purpose. I has delighted that staff offered to have breakfast ready at 6.30 am instead of the usual 7.30 am so that I could have it before I left of the early morning train.

Toilet functional but very small.

genrally the hotel was good and the staff excellant.

The shower could have been better, the shower was on the slow side and slow to heat.

Location is greta, rooms are quite confortable and are always clean. Staff is helpful most of the time.

Breakfast is poor and there are few tables for the guests.

Great location easy to get to the central of London

Room for 5 peoples has a very poor bathroom, air from the outside can pass through your room and the radiators cannot help anything try to comment with the hotel staff bit no one responding. Be aware if want to choose this typr of room

The price was great and the location near to Kings Cross was perfect .

Breakfast room has a cold atmosphere and breakfast was ok but not of good quality but you get what you pay for .

I liked its proximity to Kings Cross station and the convenience of dropping my bag there in the early morning .

I think the room I was in could do with being redecorated

It's location is really good and so full of potential.

The place is dirty, noise from other rooms and floorboards is unbearable and fire safety does not meet normal standards. The breakfast area is inaccessible to people with walking difficulties and claustrophobic with no visible fire escape. Just short of hostel standards. Never again.
