Especially Location and breakfast was very good. Rooms were compact in size but that's what you get at this price in London city center. Best part is they allowed for check-in at 9AM in the morning and arranged baby coat quickly on my spot request. Impressive :)
Nothing specific except room and bathroom size.
The noise outside my window made by some people during the night and noisy neigbours.
Small and very basic
Everything else was average or below. Unhelpful front desk staff
The location...close to underground.
The small bathrooms. The lack of good at breakfast, service slow in keeping food available.
Run down, cleanliness. Hot - had to keen window open to sleep, but there was noise...
Location and clean.
VERY small room. Everywhere was tired and in need of lick of paint.
Basic room with basic furniture for basic money. Good breakfast included in the price. Will go back when we are in London next time.
Location and very good breakfast.
The room was below ground level, there was black mould in the bathroom, and the room was very poorly presented.
kindness of staff:everybody helpful and smiling nicely! nice atmosphere
no particular comment!
The hotel was clean, reasonably comfortable, very close to the railway station, a little cramped and the breakfast passable
Ideal and very quiet location next to Kings Cross. Very helpful staff who also made provision for luggage to be left in the hotel after check out time, which was a huge bonus. Rooms were small but very clean. A cooked breakfast was also included in the price.
There was no lift to the upper floors and the stairs were a bit tight with suitcases.
Friendly and helpful staff..close to many places of interests..
The narrow and steep staircase..when lifts were not working..
Near train station.
Wifi is very poor. Almost not.
The bathroom is to small for three persons, also the bedroom. The breakfast was poor.
I read reviews online and was expecting thw worst!! But it surprised me. The location is perfect, just down the road from kings cross tube and st p and so central! We stayed in room 52, seems more modern an spacious to other rooms. It is ideal as you can hear no noise as you are at the back, altough you do have to climb stairs! Safety wise it is probably better as windows dont seem the most secure. Value for money if you want a good location!
Breakfast is not great at all so would just recommend booking room only. No safety deposit box as I asked when I arrived although was told there was online! No lift so be careful and request a lower floor room if you do not wish to climb stairs or have a lot of luggage!! Be prepared to pay on arrival.
Breakfast Near to underground
Being kept awake all sat night with car music and people shouting untill 6 am Sunday was quiet.
They put us on the ground floor when they saw we had a wheelchair (I didn't mention we were bringing one on the booking form). Very hospital front desk & let my son borrow a phone charger because his broke. Easy to find on the map too & was surprised at how close it was to the train stations.
Room was a bit small. Very noisy ceiling fan - thought it was going to fall down because it was shaking so much.Would have liked a selection of breakfast cereals included in the buffet breakfast instead of just one, but there was more than enough food anyway.
Close to stations yet very quiet and peaceful. Excellent value.
No lift so upper rooms not suitable for elderly/infirm.
Rooms were disgusting very dirty , hairs in beds and showers , plug sockets hanging off walls , blood on bathroom floor and bedside lamp, kettles and TVs were broken , very noisy hotel , all walls were dirty, window was broken , showers were too dirty to get showered in , i have never been in a hotel as bad EVER
The location was good for where I was going. Also the hotel provided free WiFi.
The bathroom needs to be completely gutted and re done. Rust is not acceptable on a shower head . the bedroom was not cleaned properly the same dust was on the bedside lamp for a week. The staff are completely rude and either ignore you or push past you in their hurry to get to their next job. the breakfast room is terrible, filthy with rusty radiators. the selection of breakfast is of a poor quality, tasteless and lukewarm. the toast for example is left under a hotplate and was barely edible. The walls are soon thin I could hear what was going in other floors. This is the worst hotel I have stayed in London. the hotel probably was at its best in the 1980s. Avoid this hotel.
Rooms were dingy, noisy and there was an overall derelict character to it. If going for breakfast, go early otherwise no bacon for you!
The location of the hotel was convenient. Cheap for a family of five. Breakfast was basic, adequate and plentiful.
The hotel felt very claustrophobic. The staff didn't want to be there. We were put in one of the basement rooms and the bathroom was damp and mouldy. We spent as little time as possible in the room. We stayed for two nights which was enough.
