Score from 931 reviews Good
Clean TV Free wifi, good speed
Bathroom layout (small)
Staff, good beds, reasonable size room and bathroom
No air con, room warm and fan kept clinching and did not oscillate, room fridge was not as efficient as it should have been
Tea making facilities Hairdryer brilliant shower nice bathroom comfy bed fridge fan plenty of different type eateries locally good bus service into london 5 mins to underground
constant noise of aircraft at night if you kept the windows open no lift but not a big deal
Clean, Comfortable, and a 10 minute walk from the tube station.
Beware if you order a taxi. I didn't think he was a registered taxi, more likely a friend or relative of the hotel manager. He tried charging twice the amount of a normal fare that we took the night before.
we booked 3 separated bed, but there was 1 separated bed and a double bed in our room
Modern facilities, room a reasonable size
In a run-down area
many rooms are in the ground floor, which is very noisy, just in front of the street. IF you open the window then the person in the street and see you.
Location was great for what we wanted
The stuff was very helpful and friendly, great location: very close to the station, clean room and quiet neighborhood...
No free Internet, breakfast is not included
I needed a no frills place to sleep in this area of London. It was clean throughout, comfortable and the staff were pleasant. The TV remote did not work which was a bonus - I didn't waste my life vegetating in front of it! I also forgot to report it, oops. I'll be staying here again.
Being able to have a late checkout at no cost Fans provided Fridge
Small bathroom and nowhere to put anything as the shelf was so small Lack of storage in the bedroom
Location was good - within half a mile of the tube with a decent bus service at the end of the road. Staff always helpful and happy to offer advice when asked anything. Will more than likely return I the future.
Breakfast at an extra £10 per person whether it was a full English or a continental breakfast was a bit steep - especially when there's cafés on the main road that are far cheaper.
Good location to stores and transport
No wifi No aircon No lift
The 24 hr security The courtesy of all staff It was friendly The staff were there to help but not intrusive.
The ledge outside my shower was dirty.
Friendly staff who were happy to help. Clean, comfortable room. Easy to find from the station.
It was near to the railway and underground.Bus service at the end of the road, providing transport links to a variety of places of interest. Shopping centre close and hotel is surrounded by a variety of shops. Staff very helpful.
All as expected.
Room on ground floor by kitchen and bins ,so very noisey early in the morning ,when you would like to rest until 9am when you are away ,so paid to much money for only 6 hrs sleep in the room
Staff.. Bed.. Fridge...
Poor Fan... Very hot..
The bed kept sliding
Huge bathroom Comfortable bed and pillows Huge television
Far from tube No air conditioning Small portable fan provided Refrigerator not working
Close to bus station and tube (subway) station. Room is nice and clean.
Warm welcome at reception, receptionist very helpful with local information, ideal location for me and my children, as it was down a side street so hardly any traffic noise, comfortable bed, 5 minute walk to the tube station and bus stop on the corner of Amelia street. Check out was at 10 am and as we weren't leaving london until the afternoon, they held our luggage until we were ready to go, free of charge. Would definitely go back.
There was easy acces to get to the very heart of London with bus secondat away and tube and train few minutes away at Elephant & Castle, there was both a pub, a small grocery store and a McDonald's seconds away aswell. The fact that it was walking distance from the Ministry of Sound club was also perfect. Me and my friend visited the club and was pleased to live so close after one of the best, sickest and most intense nights in my life. Although the staff service lacked at some points they still did their best to help which counts in my book
The rooms was warm. Luckily we visited in a period with cool temperatures outside at night but i imagine it would get really hot in there during hotter days. No aircondition, only a fan for circulation. The fridge didn't really cool, the neighbourhood was noisy at times A tad too expensive compared to the quality of the hotel and its facilitets, but i guess that's how it is, the closer you get to central London.
Its close to everything such as shops and transport links
