Booked this place for a much needed pick me up away from home with my boyfriend. Staff were friendly and welcoming
No toothpaste. I have been to 3 star hotels which provide those mini toothpaste and brush.
Our stay at the hotel was great! Staff were helpful, room was extremely quiet (we asked for a quiet room). No noise at all which is amazing for central London! As it was winter the room was very warm - we could regulate the heating ourselves which was fab! The bed was comfortable, the size of the room adequate. The central location (also close to two tube stations and Tesco store) was extremely convinient. So, we could go to central London for a planned activity/sightseeing and then relax again in the cozy hotel room for some time before heading off again to our next acitivity for the day. Totally recommended!
The hotel is clean and rooms are a good space, the bathroom is sizeable and has everything you need. Staff are always friendly and helpful the only complaint would be it is quite noisey on a morning with people walking past the room but that cannot be helped! Have stayed here many times and will continue to do so - wonderful hotel and staff
Bed was quite hard and not very comfortable
The rooms were clean and spacious. The hotel was set back off the main street which meant a great nights sleep, was very pleased with the location as was attending the coronet for the evening, only a 5minute walk (if that)!
One of the reception staff was sleeping on the job, having to bang on the door for ages while in minus temperatures was not great! Maybe an idea to fix the key swipe so we didnt have to rely on yhe sleepy receptionsit.
Handy for Brixton
I like the experience it was comfortable easy to find and simple no problems with paying or anything
The prices change
We needed a place to stay for a night in London and this place offered the best price for the area. I have to say it was excellent quality considering what we paid. Everything was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again.
Beware, if you leave your key cards next to your phone (or other key cards) they seem to wipe themselves which is a little annoying, though the staff were very helpful in getting them reset.
Good value. Very pleasant staff. Ideal reasonable hotel for a stopover of a couple of nights and good base for the South Bank. Everything you need.
It was a great location for the 02 and Victoria station where we were spending our weekend withy family.
It was a bit of a struggle with our luggage, although, we were offered to have our luggage taken up to the room but declined as we thought there would be lift but apart from that we had a comfortable stay
Location close to a bus station that takes you anywhere. Staff helpful. McDonald's close, in addition to a 24 hour shop. Room and bed were comfortable.
Weird food smell in the room (probably from a Peruvian restaurants downstairs). Loud annoying music which woke us up in the morning also might be from the Peruvian restaurant.
Good walking distance for Ministry Of Sound Night Club
Check out at 10.00 is pathetic...
Helpful friendly staff Convenient location Comfortable quiet room
No complaints whatsoever
Everything fine. Booked at less tan one day notice when many others were fully booked. I guess price is to be expected for London.
Room hot even when radiator turned off, but I closed windows to exclude traffic noise. I had cooked breakfast, at £10 it was a bit sparse, so poor value,
Very clean, everything in good condition.
Very nice room with a good location. Only about 5 mins from tube. Attentive staff, good value for money. Would def stay here again.
Nothing. It was a good stay
Good value for money. Close to transport which was important for us.
Room got very hot
staff great , very clean hotel. location good for visiting the all that London has to offer. on bus route.
Excellent size room had everything no breakfast but lots of cafes leas than five minutes walk. Not luxury but good for visiting the capital
Staff were fantastic, rooms are great, basic but clean, tidy and adequate for an overnight stay. Would recommend.
The hotel is quite warm! There are also stairs up to some of the bedrooms so if you do have difficulty walking up the stairs then request a ground floor room. The staff help with luggage too :-)
Everything was acceptable. Free Wifi was very helpful.
Rooms were small but fine for someone on their own.
Room was clean, was a quiet location for London standards, got a great sleep.
Having to pay for WiFi. The least any business whom you choose to do your custom with nowadays should give free WiFi at the very least. Location could be seen as quite dodgy at night (especially in the dark winter evenings)
Clean, comfortable bed, location close to a wide choice of restaurants
