The 24 hr security The courtesy of all staff It was friendly The staff were there to help but not intrusive.
The ledge outside my shower was dirty.
Friendly staff who were happy to help. Clean, comfortable room. Easy to find from the station.
It was near to the railway and underground.Bus service at the end of the road, providing transport links to a variety of places of interest. Shopping centre close and hotel is surrounded by a variety of shops. Staff very helpful.
All as expected.
Room on ground floor by kitchen and bins ,so very noisey early in the morning ,when you would like to rest until 9am when you are away ,so paid to much money for only 6 hrs sleep in the room
The bed kept sliding
Huge bathroom Comfortable bed and pillows Huge television
Far from tube No air conditioning Small portable fan provided Refrigerator not working
Close to bus station and tube (subway) station. Room is nice and clean.
There was easy acces to get to the very heart of London with bus secondat away and tube and train few minutes away at Elephant & Castle, there was both a pub, a small grocery store and a McDonald's seconds away aswell. The fact that it was walking distance from the Ministry of Sound club was also perfect. Me and my friend visited the club and was pleased to live so close after one of the best, sickest and most intense nights in my life. Although the staff service lacked at some points they still did their best to help which counts in my book
The rooms was warm. Luckily we visited in a period with cool temperatures outside at night but i imagine it would get really hot in there during hotter days. No aircondition, only a fan for circulation. The fridge didn't really cool, the neighbourhood was noisy at times A tad too expensive compared to the quality of the hotel and its facilitets, but i guess that's how it is, the closer you get to central London.
Its close to everything such as shops and transport links
Need free wifi
staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. the rooms were spotless. the patio area was ideal because we were a group of 17 so it was great for us all to sit out together. the beds were comfortable the receptionist went out of his way every night to make sure we had good deals for a taxi to take us out.
Rooms are to hot, in summer time ! Showers needs to be clean properly and remove the mod ....
For the price point, there's no beating it. No frills - no breakfast. No air con, but windows and fan do the trick. A clean comfortable place to stay.
It's about 10 min from the tube, no big deal, but something to consider.
Good information about public transport. Clean room. Tea/coffee available in the room.
We did not like the staff are speaking in some unknown language ( hindi, bengali?) when we are in the reception.
We had a very pleasant stay. Upgraded to a family room which was very clean with an excellent shower and all those things such as TV, coffee making facilities, hairdryer which you come to expect. Bonus was the fridge in the room.
No valuables safe.
Staff very helpful, printing maps for us, booking taxis. Clean rooms including bathroom. Lots on the doorstep, pub next door, supermarket very near and tube not too far to walk.
It was a little difficult to find at first, but that's more an issue with me I think!
The staff were all very helpful and polite and any requests were quickly dealt with . The hotel is very well served by 2 tube stations and a number of bus services to enable tourists to move around the city. Overall very good value for money.
Air conditioning in the room would be very helpful although there is a fan it is quite noisy .
This hotel provided a very good value for the money. The location was close to the underground station and the bus stops. I was surprised at the large size of the bathroom.
The neighborhood that this hotel is in isn't the best. It's not bad, but it's not the prettiest.
nothing...except the help staff. we stayed as we cound't find alternative accommodation due to the peak summer season.
warm and very cramp space run down and dodgy area of south London.
Nice room with big cupboard and fan, ( which was welcome in the London heat wave,) clean and quiet. Lovely shower. Nice staff.
Rather dirty carpet on stairs, only one pillow, which was a bit uncomfortable. No lift which was not a big problem, but maybe for some. Receptionist offered to carry bags.
Close to Tube and Bus station, 15-20 min to the Center and all main attractions
Smell of the food from the kitchen in the whole hotel Neighborhoods is Afro-oriented
Room was very clean, good service & friendly staff
Shower in room had no hot water - only disadvantage
The location was ideal for where I needed to be. I was upgraded to a bigger room on arrival and staff helpful. The room was clean, bed comfortable.
The lack of air conditioning, fan blowing dust around. The charge for breakfast, the hotel could include a continental breakfast in the cost of the room.
Comfy bed, shower good, big tv. Close to shops and bus stop.
Was a bit noisy most of the night and the view from the window overlooked other close buildings. (still got a good night's sleep though)
London can be really noisey, but we enjoyed two really good nights sleep. The hotel is basic, but comfortable Rooms are compact but adequate for a short city stay. We found the staff to be helpful. Good location if you know you London Buses.
Quite a good location though not central but near Elephant & Castle which is a lively and interesting part of London. Just off the Walworth Road which has plenty of buses (for example the 45 direct from/to Kings Cross), also handy for Elephant and Castle on the Bakerloo and Northern Underground lines as well as National Rail Thameslink via Blackfriars. Good to find window open when we arrived on very hot day. Had breakfast in a pleasant local cafe on Walworth Road.
Poor value for money given small size of room and out-of-centre location. Double bed with one side against wall always an annoyance! Although the room itself was very clean, the toilet flush was weak, and in the morning proved ineffective with mildly unpleasant consequences which contributed to our decision to check out as early as possible. We reported the problem to reception on departure, and they apologised. Hopefully the hotel has now consulted a plumber.
