Cleanliness and comfort (especially bathroom); quiet and safe neighbourhood; close to market, supermarkets and a variety of cafes; reception staff ready, willing and able to provide assistance of different sorts. Room lights could be a little brighter; costs of breakfast in basement cafe could be a little lower.

Very friendly staff. Good central London location, close to tube station and amenities. Relatively cheap way to be able to afford to stay in central London. Lots of internal noise. They seemed to be stud walls so we could hear every conversation going on in the neighbouring rooms. Other guests came back in the early hours and there was lots of noise from doors slamming and people shouting. "People noise" started again around 6am each day. Also, double bed seemed quite small and mattress was very hard!!!

It was very close to the Ministry Of Sound Club club as me and my friends came to London just for the event of a party at MOS, so we found it to be a good location if you are travelling just for nightlife at the MOS. Noises of banging doors early in the morning.

Staff friendly. Hotel does what it says on the tin with no major frills. Easy journey to tube and City in the morning. Location at night not great although it is opposite a police station. Room hotter than I would have liked.

That there was a cafe across the road ao we could get a decent breafast in the morning! Nothing really it had a bad smell, showers did not work properly and the bed squeked alot also we heard police sirens all night! Not a pleasant stay if it wasnt so late I would have went elsewhere for that money! Also they didn't have toothpaste in the room!

I have stayed here before and the staff were even more helpful than before. In particular regarding the daytime on-street parking that they can arrange for you. This parking is free overnight. Check with staff for details but useful to know as Hotel does not have it's own car park. If you have breakfast - arrive Hungry!

Excellent service from reception on arrival, given choice of rooms (including larger family room). Room was clean,bed was comfy and was generally excellent value for money. Close to the tube station but off the main road so pretty quiet. No complaints about the room or service, didnt have the food so cant comment on that.

Extremely helpful staff. Don't be afraid to ask for anything. Room was not yet cleaned upon arrival, but that was no problem as we went directly to the city after dropping off our luggage. That evening when we came back the room was neat and clean.
