Euston Square Hotel  

As my wife is disabled the ground floor room, with the "wet room" was ideal. The restaurant both for an evening snack and fro breakfast was very good

Having only one chair made watching TV difficult

The elevator did not work so had to walk up the stairs. Bedding looked old. Double room was tiny.

It had a good location for the subway and some good restaurants in the area. The staff was very good about letting us keep our luggage in the hotel after we checked out and still had some things to do. The breakfast was good and priced OK. The shower was nice- the water hot and the soap and shampoo were good quality. The A/C worked well. We could pick up WiFi in our room.

What's the deal with the elevator??? Or lack thereof, to be more accurate. We were there for three days and no elevator. There we are, lugging our luggage up and down those stairs, to the top floor to boot, and they're little narrow stairs, cause it's England, the land of little narrow things, and it was hot and hard. We were told the elevator would be fixed, hopefully the elevator would be fixed, "soon" but it sounded very rehearsed. I've a feeling that elevator is still broken- days and days later.

Excellent food

It was very close to a tube station. Staff were very accommodating to hold my luggage before checking in. A nice welcome touch with the fruit basket and chocolates on arrival in room.

It was a very small room with limited daylight, due to the window overlooking a brick wall. The blinds were shut and did not open at all. The free wi-fi did not work, even when i queried this with staff. Some light fittings in the room did not work. The bed linen was not sufficient as it was a very cold night and i did not sleep well. Pillows were also very thin and overall the bed was uncomfortable. I booked this the day before, and paid the price of 169 pounds, however i feel this was very overpriced for the standard of the room.

Our stay at Euston square was very comfortable and conveinient to all places we were visiting whilst in London.

From initial booking queries, room changes and assistance received when we arrived, the staff could not have been more helpful and courteous. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them. The rooms were exactly what we wanted and next to each other which was another request. Being able to leave our luggage before check-in and after we had checked out was a real bonus. Breakfast was perfectly adequate (despite the time change for the London Marathon). Being the first time we have travelled to and stayed in London, we were pleasantly surprised.

Tv did not work no internet access despite being advertised Bathroom, designed for disabled, contained rusty equipment and a disabled person would not have been able to close the shower curtain

Convenient for underground, rail links and proximity to city centre and all main attractions.

"Minimalist" doesn't really do justice to the bedroom. Very cramped but nevertheless clean and more than adequate as a place to sleep. Most of the time spent out and about so the hotel was pretty much ok as a base and a place to sleep at night. Couldn't get any of the BBC channels on the TV and despite reporting this no explanation given nor any remedy. Continental breakfast was more than sufficient with plenty of choice and more than enough to eat.

Everything was great

Great location being only 15 minutes walk from St Pancras. Rooms are very small but adequate for a short break and the beds are clean. Why take a chance on eating out when the hotel provide a good dinner at a reasonable price by comparison to other London venues. The staff are always friendly and if you want to know the best shows in town ask the Barstaff who have seen the majority. Breakfast is chaotic but the food is fine. I have been several times to this hotel and will continue to use it because it is so convenient to all venues a city tripper will visit. Jim Smith.
