Very vlran hotel, convenient for Euston station .
Location and friendly staff
Breakfast was put away very quickly whilst we were still eating, made it down at 9.20 but food all away by 9.30 good kid we grabbed cereal.
Location was excellent. Good value. Rooms were cleaned every day & fresh towels & linen provided. Breakfast included & the hotel also stored our luggage for us.
Double room was very small. While it was great to have breakfast included in our hotel package, it was very basic
The hotel is obviously a large build converted by studded walls into a hotel. Breakfast area was not very welcoming with staff determined not to speak! Reception staff spoken English was surprisingly poor. Staying in a single room made me feel like I had been shut away into a cardboard box! Noise from doors being opened and closed was always there. Room insulation against noise was O! Very difficult to give any good write up. My fault for rushing into booking a room! as for the breakfast. . . I had better stop here!!
our tripwas a birthday jaunt to an exibition and then a sightseeing trip and it was a most enjoying and worthwhile time .
obviously the mass of people in the underground worries a person who normally dies not live in london
friendly and affable staff
rooms rather small and recurrant problems with room keys
Area Hotel is in.
No cooked english breakfast available
Best location nice and clean big room for london staff nice after a late arrival good to be able to keep bag at hotel all day due to late train home next day nice and warm in dinning room in morning brill room lovely and warm too not stayed before but serious contender for again
Unfortunely the beds were rock hard I know you can't please everyone but suffering from arthritis not a lot of sleep which was a shame because rest of room good but kettle didn't work either but only there one night
Hotel was clean and tidy and great value for money , great location.
The noise in the hotel was a really big problem you could hear everything even the conversations in joining rooms like they were sat next to you. Doors slamming at all hours and the cleaning staff at 7am , such a shame as everything else was good
Shower not easy to operate. Shower gel applicator did not work. Unable to place the kettle on TV cupboard and boil it as no plug in flex length. Had to put on the floor.
Near to the station and the tube Breakfast good
Room was very small. Nowhere to put bags or cases Rather claustrophobic
Breakfast, friendly staff
Very small room with thin walls so noisy
Great position, everything ready.
Small room, heating didn't work, bed very small. Second time we have used this hotel, first time we booked direct and had much better room. This time used booking.com and this is probably the reason for inferior room
Hotel was clean, wifi was good, good breakfast
the hotel is right near a hospital, so throughout the night there is a lot of sirens! Drain blocked in shower!
Although the room was very small it was clean and had all you needed in it. It was the perfect location for us as I needed to be at the UCLH for 7 am in the morning.
When we arrived at the hotel we were given our key with a written sheet with what was available in the hotel, one of which was full English breakfast and the restaurant was open from 12 till 10 pm which is what we wanted as when I was discharged from the hospital I could not walk very well. All that was available was continental breakfast, no English breakfast, and at 4 pm on being discharge from hospital the restaurant was closed. Had been for some time. None of this was told to us until after the event. Which left us in a very difficult position. If there was a problem with the restaurant we should have been informed of this at check in. There was also a problem with the blind in the double glazing in our room they did not open so for the 3 days we were there we could not see out of the window and had to have the light on all the time, when I reported it the first morning I was told they would get it sorted, but as your might guess nothing was done about it. For these reason I would not stay there again and would certainly not recommend it to anyone else.
I found the staff very friendly at all encounters and the facilities comfortable and adequate to my needs. The location is superb for me. The room price compares well with other options. And overall I think it a good place to stay and would stay there again.
I had a groundfloor room 001 which had facilities for a wheelchair etc I would have preferred an upper room with less noise from fellow guests coming and going. The breakfast was pleasant but there was no cooked option which I would have liked.
Ease of location for hospital
No option for evening meal !
Location is excellent close to tubes and station. Staff very helpful and friendly. Shower very powerful and good size.
Our room was a bit small but overall it was adequate would have preferred later time for breakfast
Location was great never been so close to a tube station ! and quiet too which was great for the location, secondary glazing worked well, but you could open the window if you wanted to. For a continental breakfast only we were impressed with the choice and freshness. Loved the high speed internet with no limited 20 minutes etc offered. Tea and coffee in the room was welcome.
The room was very small but we were aware of this, and the photos did not try and give a different impression. The bed was a bit too soft and you had to be careful not to catch yourself on the wooden frame. Lift was slow as others mentioned but not a major deal.
Bad value for money
The location was great. Easy access to tube station and 15 mins walk from Kings Cross./ St Pancras. Staff nice. Hotel clean.
Rooms very small. No bar to speak of only had one glass of white wine available on a Friday evening!
Location is fab. 200m from Euston where you can get a tube to anywhere. Value for money was good £127 for 2 nights with breakfast although never made it for it due to time constraints and events I had planned. Was quiet at night because our room looked into side street so no problem getting to sleep.
The bathroom was nice however I don't know if the plughole in the shower was blocked but the water took ages to drain away so you were standing ankle deep in soapy water.
Size of room extremely compact ok for 1/2 nights but not any longer. Expect smaller rooms for London but too small to move !!!!
bed was blissfully comfortable
Noisy internal doors
