The hotel room was very good, had all we needed. The shower was difficult to use. It took slightly too long for hot water to come through when using the shower. Also, no towel rail in the bathroom. Nowhere to put wet towels.

.The hotel was very shabby and smelled as if people had been smoking. The rooms were freezing and we could not turn on the heat, when we went to ask at reception there was no one there. Later in the evening we came back to the hotel after attending a funeral we asked if we could have some bar food told there was nothing but, sandwiched but did get some chips which left a lot to be desired. as it took so long to be served.and when they did arrive they were disgusting, Breakfast was very poor, asked for scrambled eggs and something was put in front of me that certainly did not resemble eggs in any sense or form they were grey and greasy .

The staff were extremely helpful The room was a twin room and we asked for an extra bed for my 11 year old son to stay in with us, however the bed was awful and we just put the wafer thin matress on the floor for him so I wasn't very impressed with that

I have previously stayed at the Everglades Park Hotel, it is in an ideal location for the purposes of visiting my family. I was born and lived in the area until leaving aged 19, it is useful for visiting everything I remember from past years. On this occasion we used the restaurant for dinner - a more than pleasant experience, the service and food excellent.

We used the Hotel as it was close to the church for a wedding that we were attending. I am not sure we would use the hotel again as it was a bit off the beaten track for a shopping trip etc. It was value for money and the bed was very comfortable

Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Although there was a mix up and the room we booked (double) wasnt available - we were offered a twin, but they did give us a £20 discount as way of apology! Getting a twin room when I'd booked a double!!

The service and catering for the wedding I attended were fantastic. Food portion sizes were generous and vegetarians were well catered for in the main meal. The buffet breakfast didn't live up to the standard of the rest of the food although it was ok.

The room facilities were as description and it was good to have iron and board. The breakfast was excellent and full engish available. We would have, liked afternoon tea and cake but although the reception said someone would be in the bar to serve us this didnt happen and we had to make do with the coffee making facilities in the room. I could imagine that if a guest wanted to go to bed early on Sat night then there is quite a lot of noise from the function rooms which affected the ground floor rooms where we were situated. This didnt affect us as we were oout at a prty although we did experience noise from the disco in our room until after 12pm(midnight)

In a good location for our purposes,(we where visiting friends who live close by) hotel comfortable staff helpful.wedding party at hotel but did - not disturb us. Would stay again if in area. Car park fiddly to get out of due to having to put in code to open barrier, (you have to get out of car to do this and get wet) breakfast very poor and not worth the money would not pay again for this in advance which I did. This is not a complaint just a comment.

We found the room both comfortable and clean with good tea and coffee facilities. The evening meal was also very good and well presented. I was disappointed to find that we had been overcharged for the evening meal and due to the time factor were unable to rectify your mistake. The bill for the meal was not explicit enough to check at the time as the drinks were not included and I only found out the cost the following morning but as I have already mentioned, due to the time factor and also the night porter was not in a position to rectify the mistake we had to leave with the issue unresolved.

The hotel was clean and well appointed, the location was quite and convenient, the manager dealt with our complaint with the minimum of fuss giving us a full refund on our room rate without question. Unfortunately because of a wedding and reception, a number of guests were staying at the hotel and the noise level from people up and down the corridor and shutting and slamming doors until after 4.30am meant that we got very little sleep and because of a long drive the following day, had to book another nights accommodation at additional expense as I was in no fit state to complete the journey safely.
