Quiet, comfortable clean hotel - the sort of civilised place which used to be normal
No shower in the bathroom (though the bath was comfortable.
Large clean bathroom and wide comfortable double bedroom.
There was nothing to dislike. Value for money.
Breakfast Large room
Small bed Lack of guidance on towel renewal Towels left to dry on corner of doors
Tasty food Superior room and bathroom layout
Last orders for restaurant 8.30, booked table for 8, and they'd run out of 1 of the meals on menu 2 nights running! Had superior room but had no net curtains so showed dirty, cobwebby windows as well as opposite house being able to look straight into room! Not sure worth extra £25 per night.
The swimming pool
The shower took 20mins to warm up. Breakfast was awful. The decor was very old fashioned.
The Pool, comfy bed, breakfast, position of Hotel and staff very pleasant
Our shower was very poor, hard to adjust temperature and very poor flow, but in fairness we were offered an upgrade which we didn't accept as already unpacked.
Property was poorly maintained
Good sized bedroom and bathroom. Breakfast OK.
Water too hot. Common areas need updating - in particular the dining room was very dingy.
The good atmosphere and the good attitude of the staff .
No elevator. Not good if you have luggage for a week (which I didn't) .
Friendly staff Comfortable roomy bedrooms Good choice for breakfast Plenty of parking Leisure facilities Cleanliness of rooms
The breakfast The swimming pool
Uncomfortable beds Bathroom needed updating, especially shower Bottled lagers not kept cold
Friendly staff good food with a reasonably varied menu but not too much each evening so it was obvious that meals were cooked at the time and not microwaved from a pack. Room were clean
The staff at the hotel were very friendly and professional a massive credit to the hotel. Dinning was fantastic quality and we enjoyed our meals we had.
Some of the fixtures and fittings looked tired and parts of the hotel could be mistaken for a old peoples home
Friendly staff. Comfortable room Good breakfast. Good looking general facilities, although I didn't use any personally.
The hotel is',quite understandably more geared up for the holiday trade,so as I was on business the breakfast start time of 7.45 was a little bit late & the service a little slow. This is only a minor gripe, however.
Location breakfast and staff all excellent
Shower was a bit low on pressure!!!
showers are not to the standard of modern expectation in the two rooms we had
Large room & large bathroom with bath, lovely old Victorian building but rooms tastefully modern
Staff we're very helpful.
Hotel is very tired.
The warm welcome on arrival
The room had been refurbed and felt modern and spacious.
The breakfast area felt a lot more dated than the bedroom
Staff were very friendly. Room was spacious, plenty of choice at breakfast and the full english hot!
Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was superb Easy walk to Ventnor and a lovely walk to the nearby park and sea front.
The Staff were very courteous, friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The food was also excellent. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in Ventnor.
Nothing to dislike.
This was our second stay at the Eversley and everything was again excellent.
Nothing, it is a very pleasant place to stay and relax. Perhaps a little background music in the lounge bar in the evening would be very nice.
I liked the price and location
The room was old and tired, was a bit dirty in places, the shower screen leaked badly and flooded the floor and the TV needed fixing.
