The bar area had limited drinks. No lager on draught just John Smiths Beer. Only wine on sale was Riesling. So not the best selection. My room on the 4th floor was stifling hot which was really uncomfortable. |

Room standards exceeded my expectations. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and polite. Breakfast was very badly organised, chaos in fact. |

A very good central location Didnt think much of the breakfast. Very poor range of quality cold fresh food i would normally eat. If you like instant coffee and slow toast you are probably ok. I am not even looking for a cooked meal, with a little imagination you could do a lot better. Has put me off Holiday Inn |

no baths in the rooms, the key didnt let me in the downstairs door, the bed too hard so I slept on the couch. Breakfast rubbish, no cooked breakfast, just rolls and cereal, and the oaster didnt toast the bread. the orange juice was disgusting |

We liked the convenience of a city centre with parking incorporated - cheap and easy and discount on local restaurants.Felt safe with integrated lock/key card devices. I will be staying on my own occassionally so its important aspect fior female on own. We were unhappy about only 1 pillow each and that made sleep not as comfortable as wished. Breakfast sunday was chaotic - no bread, no cheese, no jam etc but it did rectify itself so after 30min wait for rolls etc we had a decent breakfast. ironic the very efficient reception staff could not find a stapler which had any staples in to fasten recipt to bill. |

Excellent value for money. Continental breakfast good selection and ample. Room immaculately clean. Staff very pleasant. Ideal location for city centre. Would stay here again and recommend to all. |

There was ample parking and plenty of places to eat nearby. I was surprised to find this hotel still had smoking rooms, the smell was very strong and unpleasant. The number of guests for beakfast was underestimated so there were not enough tables and chairs never mind food! The queue for toast was excessive and the choice on the continental breakfast was poor. |

Big, spacious room with modern design, great looking bathroom and confy bed. Poor breakfast but it's still better than no breakfast at all. |

Ease of access to the city centre, restaraunts and entertainment. Secure access, easy parking. Always a good breakfast in a relaxing atmosphere. The matress was well worn and too soft, it was uncomfortable and we didn't sleep very well. |

The night reception staff, very friendly. Access: Very hard to find even with sat nav. Parking is awkward especially if you have luggage. Breakfast was poor. Would have paid extra for a cooked one. Room was cold when we arrived and the heater is not the easiest to turn on. Same goes for he TV the on switch was not straightforward |

Very comfortable, spotless room. Would certainly consider staying there again. It would be nice to see some recycling options for waste. E.g. individual cereal boxes at breakfast shouldn't be going with plastic waste in this day and age. |
