Location, cleanliness and speed of check in check out. Locked in the breakfast room at 0959hrs (myself and others till eating breakfast) by a member of staff to ensure no latecomers could get in. This was a major breach of fire regulations - so folks next time you are at this hotel make sure you get to the breakfast room before 0959 hours

The cleanliness of the whole hotel,we arrived before the usual check in time and were still alowed to get into out room, the fact that breakfast was included in the price,we also felt very safe due to the extra security especially having to use the room keycard to operate the lift, therefore no one can access the hotel corridors.

The location of this hotel was excellent for shopping, restaurants, theatres and cinemas. Room size was reasonable and was always kept clean and tidy by chamber made staff. The included breakfast was excellent and the range of food was far better than a number of more expensive hotels I have stayed at.

The most important thing about the hotel was the fact that there was a walk in shower, as my wife would have great difficulties climbing in and out of a bath. .The hotel was bright and cheery as were the stafff. It is handy for eating out and for bus station and shopping is very convenient.

Good Location (it take only 10 min. to Glasgow Queen's street station and most of the shops can be accessed within 15 min. by foot)... Breakfast is nice (out of our expectation). Our room is located at the back that it is quite noisy in the early morning during the working is clearing the waste.

The Hotel staff were extremely helpful and polite. The one thing we didn't like was the breakfast set up. It was like going into a supermarket cafe, where you fill your tray up as you go along in the queue. This wouldn't have been too bad if the had provided a tray guide for you to rest your trays on, but they didn't. So you had to juggle pouring tea/coffee/juice whilst trying to balance the tray on the tiny ledge. then you had to hold up the display shelf "door" to help yourself to sausages & eggs. How you are supposed to do this whilst holding a tray, opening and keep holding the door open is beyond me. All this could have been avoided by having something as simple as a tray guide/rest. Or better still get one of the mobile serving stations and have staff serve you. This would have been more helpful, and would have stopped the 2 people dropping their trays in the 30mins we were in the breakfast area. The breakfast itself was ok. Scrambled eggs and sausages (not a varied choice, would have preferred poached eggs.)

We have stayed there several times and have always been treated very well by all the staff. It is also very convenient for the city centre and the price is usually very competitive. The rooms are always very clean and the breakfast is excellent for being continental.

Stayed for a weekend. Apart from a fire alarm early in the morning, it was a lovely stay. I would recommend this hotel if you want to be in the centre of Glasgow. Staff were friendly and very helpful.

I found the staff friendly as we negotiated the January 1 holiday season and the location was absolutely ideal for bus and train connections. WiFi strength was not quite up to standards in the rooms.

Location is excellent. It is just 5 mins away from the Buchanan Galleries. Room is comfortable and clean, though the water from the shower spilled/leaked onto the bathroom floor. Very quiet room as well. Unfortunately I stayed from 31st Dec - 1st Jan, so things were a bit discrupted. I couldn't have breakfast because that didn't start until 9am, and I had to go to the airport. But I guess that only happens a few times a year, and it was more unlucky than everything else.

Nice welcome from efficient staff. Room was very clean and comfy - I often stay at express inns and you know what you are getting. Always good value. The breakfast is well organised and plentifull with lots of choice and sets you up for the day whether for business meetings or shopping. Ideal location for shopping / transport links. I was worried that it might be noisy with traffic and late night party goers with it being so close to Christmas but I slept really well both nights and it was really quiet
