There were too many stags but it is the stag capital so expect lots of lads and a few lasses but everyone was well behaved and not noisy.

Clean, quiet, comfortable, friendly, good location. Overall a good stay.

Only thing wrong with our stay was the scrambled eggs were poor not cooked maybe powdered mix & beans & sausages were cold.

This is second time I stayed there and I would definitley go back.

The only thing I didn't like was they did not have my reservation that I made with you but the staff where very helpful and fortunately there was a room for me.

Kimberley on reception was an angel, sorting me out with some takeaway as I was exhausted from working all day and very pregnant so had no energy to find my own supper. She really was excellent, a credit to you.

I was offered an extended check out on request - much appreciated.

I was called by someone from reception after I checked out, whether I have mistakenly taken the remote control of the television. I was worried about it and I went back to the hotel to find out that they had already found out that it was the person before me in the room, who actually took the remote control mistakenly. I was expecting an apology from the hotel for stressing me up and not calling back again to confirm tht it was not me.

A small issue with the preparation of the room was reported and corrected immediately and a free drink was provided as part of the apology. The staff without exception were very friendly.In particular when I confirmed that breakfast started at 7am as we had to make an early start the night porter who was serving in the bar said that he would be on duty until 7 and if we required an even earlier breakfast he would prepare it.Unfortunately I do not remember his name.

We loved the gentleman working nightshift, we wish we got his name. so friendly and a great laugh.

the breakfast - we went at 9:20 and there was no plates and sausages were hard (had obviously sat a while)

Myself and my oldest son came to watch my middle son play at the Sage Gateshead with the NYO. The venue was easy walking distance from the hotel, as was the station (we arrived by train) and the city centre shops (we had a little look!). There were plenty of places to eat nearby and we were spoilt for choice within a 5 minute walk of the hotel. The room was well laid out with all that you would need on an overnight stay. I liked the way the bathroom door doubled as a loo door and also the special night light in the bathroom (although I only discovered it in the morning!). Staff were very cheerful and the breakfast, while not a gourmet experience, was fine and set us up for the day. Our room was quiet and comfortable. I would use this hotel again.

There were no feather pillows, only the lumpy type, but that's hardly a reason not to visit (but I would bring my own pillow if I came again).

Central - just a couple of minutes walk from city centre and from the Newcastle Arena. Breakfast was excellent and the staff couldn't have been more helpful

Good central location, a short walk from Central Station. Good location for all shops, restaurants and bars.

The Harlem Globetrotters checked in! That was pretty good. Breakfast was better than expected. Very convenient location for Newcastle city centre. Clean room.

2013 on the outside, 1985 on the inside. Very basic, I only paid £67.50 (inc. Breakfast), but still felt like I'd had poor value for money overall.

Perfect location for train station and metro arena.
