the staff were very welcoming and helpful security was great no outsider could get to the rooms. breakfast was help your self no fry up but we didnt mind we ate loads full for the day. would stay again if in tha area. |

Modern ,purpose built hotel, 5 mins walk from railway station and 5 to 10mins walk from city centre shops yet in a quiet peaceful situation. Several good restaurants close by. |

ideal location for going to st james' park.good facilities in hotel. liked the fact a doorman was outside at night for security and you needed your room card to gain access and to use the lift and open doors. felt much safer. |

It was close to the city centre, ideal location for our trip, it was close to the attractions we wished to see, it was close enough to the nightlife & far enough not to be disturbed No closed off section for people to sit & have breakfast as the reception area is busy, and it does feel like you are sat in reception having your breakfast. I don't think it looks to great seeing people sat eating whilst checking in or out, or arriving for a business meeting (some people have really strange eating habits) £5.95 for a glass of house wine is far to steep - especially when you can get a bottle of decent wine from the shop around the corner for £3.99 (3 glasses) Cover for Bar & check in needs to be looked at - would have used the bar more but staff checking people in were also responsible for the bar area so the bar was unmaned. Lights in rooms need to be looked at, bed lights seem to be linked with the main lights |

I was going to a concert in the Metro Arena - location excellent. Hotel was very easy to find from the A1. Staff friendly and very helpful. |

The location was ideal for a city centre. The hotel was smart in appearance and the staff were helpfull. The air conditioning system in our room did not work and it was extremely hot and uncomfortable. We opened a window but had to close it due to outside noise from students. There was also a clicking noise coming from the wall behind the bed which stopped us from sleeping. This may have been heating noise. Although the hotel was nice we had hardly any sleep and when we reported this we got no apology from the staff. Drinks from the bar were also over priced. |

the room was Ok and it was good location it was noisy from traffic in the room although window was closed. The hotel is soulless, the dining area is like Asdas cafe its just bleak and blank, also I hate having huge tv screens when I dont want to watch tv.The breakfast was basic , adequate I suppose. I would hate to be there on holiday |

value for money and the offerings at breakfast were good. Rooms were clean and good for a stop over not about the hotel but we called just before checking in re car parking facilities and were told to park in the multi story car park beside the hotel however, weren't advised about the platinum badge holder spaces and having been travelling for 7 hours didn't notice the signs so we received a parking ticket. Being new to the city it would have been nice to have been advised that these spaces were there and not to park in them. Local knowledge the desk clerk should have told us of |
