Location, price and fantastic breakfast. I would stay here again as it is in a very convenient location for visiting our friends in Rickmansworth. It is also cheap and provides a great breakfast. The hotel is in desperate need of restoration and redecorating. Has a musty smell in corridors possibly due to damp and need to replace old carpets. Floor uneven in corridors. Shabby decoration in rooms. Tiny old style portable tv. Bathroom only tiled on three walls and wallpaper starting to peel on untiled wall due to condensation. Decor needs updating.

The hotel staff were exceptional! And the food in the restaurant although a little pricey was superb, a complete treat considering I thought we might get bog standard pub food. Really recommend the restaurant, even the breakfast was excellent in the morning, perfect pastries and locally sourced sausages, not to be missed. The room was a good size, quality bedlinen and clean so a real bargain if you don't mind it being dated and only a 1 min walk from the shops, restaurants and station. The rooms and the hotel itself was tired and in need of a refurb and no room service which was fine considering the price.

Vert friendly and helpful staff, free parking. Room was basic but clean and had very comfy beds. The swipe cards to get into the hotel late were good, meant you didn't have any hassle getting in. Breakfast was nice with a decent.choice. overall was very happy.

Location. Just 5 mins away from the m25. Plenty of car parking space. Restaurant serving good food. Staff very helpful & efficient. Excellent value for money, having booked just the day before and getting a very good deal, last minute Bedroom & bathroom clean, but very 'tired'. Needs refurbishing.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great value for money and excellent location. Included breakfast was very good. As other reviewers have noted, there were a few bits of tired decor but the room was clean and quiet. These slight shortcomings are more than made up for by the location, service and overall value for money of this hotel.

Well placed for travelling into central London (2 minutes walk to station). Also, excellent breakfast. Nothing really, though hotel would benefit from redecorating generally.

Up on arrival the first thing we notice was how private the hotel was away from the main road which is what I really liked. There was a pricing for parking then I learnt that visitors are given a voucher which I thought was amazing. The reception staff was really nice and generally full of information to help us get the best out of our stay. The resturant was amazing and the food was well presented. The room was clean and comfy. Even though our tv wasn't working it really didn't put me off the hotel just because of how nice the staffs were. In overal I think my stay there was amazing. I'll give all the staffs AAAA+!

Breakfast and price. Restaurant was also good value Inefficiency of reception staff. Checked us into a room that was already occupied and we have now been charged twice despite assurances that this would not happen. Currently attempting to get a refund.

nice breakfast, good location, inexpensive so good value. Hotel is looking a bit tired, I remember it as a vibrant US style diner and rooms where in better nick. Needs a re-decorate and a spruce up.

I chose this hotel because it was so reasonable and it was so close to the new Warner Bros Harry Potter tour that my daughter and her friends had won tickets to visit. I read some of the reviews and was a little dubious but had to consider cost as I was paying for 3 rooms. We were greeted by such a friendly and helpful receptionist. I will admit that the hotel was a little dated and the bathroom tiles were a bit cracked but what on earth do people expect for £35 for a room!!! The beds were comfortable, clean and fresh as were the towels and I had a lovely hot shower. The breakfast that was amazingly included was absolutely first class - just as good as I've had in 4 star hotels costing 5 times the price. I would certainly recommend this hotel. A real bargain and a great place to stay for your family Harry Potter tour as it'll leave you some spare cash to treat yourselves to a souvenir!

I stayed at the hotel with my disabled son and was somewhat wary after some negative comments on the reviews. However I can honestly say everything was excellent, the staff really helpful and friendly, the room very clean with satelitte T.v, free wi-fi, tea and coffee making facilities with biscuits. The breakfast was amazing!! Freshly cooked full english, eggs benedict, smoked salmon and a buffet with everything you could possibly want from cereal to pastries! Excellent value for money and I shall certainly go back again when my son has another hospital appointment in 6 months time and shall look forward to it! Jackie Mason

Location is very good. Breakfast is perfect. I'll write the same things like many others. It is quite old and needs refurbishment. There is a strange smell at the aisle. However; it is one of the cheapest around and value for money. But if it was in main Europe it wouldn't be value for money.
