Score from 400 reviews Very good
Proximity to major road gave easy access to area surrounding Exeter. Refurbished bathroom to a high standard.
Very central for visiting interesting places in Devon. Staff friendly, cheerful and helpful. Wi-Fi easy access and quite fast.
Our room was a little smaller than the last one we stayed in and, therefore, disapponting. The cleanliness seemed to have gone down - ledges at bottom of bedside cabinets were very dusty as was the top of the wardrobe.
Comfortable room and excellent breakfast. Good access to roads to continue drive south. Just 10 minutes away from Exeter centre!
No problems a well run hotel
Well run hotel no faults
Rooms set out in, I think, modules of eight per building and thankfully ours facing away from the main road. Reasonably clean and recently refurbished with a lot of oak finish which was nice. Staff pleasant.
Not a great selection on the menu which was the same every night for the three nights we were there. Rubbish on the pathways between the accommodation blocks somewhat unsightly. Rooms not thoroughly as clean as it ought to be.
Efficient and cheerful staff
Crowded breakfast room
Showers amazing and cleanliness superb! Staff extremely helpful and kind x
No air conditioning in the room
Unbelievable staff really good service and brilliant food
nice location lovely reception breakfast excellent choice car park good
bedroom was a bit on the small side but very compact and clean
nice bathroom, good shower, nice TV good wi fi signal, plenty of parking space
uncomfortable bed, far to heavy duvet , felt like having a ton on top of you,no air movement in room, could at least have had a fan if no aircon. Food in restaurant poor, how often do you have tomato sauce with a piece of lamb steak?
- Convenient location for our needs - Good price -Friendly / helpful service
Convenient access just off the A38.Only about 15 minutes drive from Matford Park and Ride for Exeter. Level accommadation and quiet.
Peak time in the Restaurant was a bit chaotic. The staff needed more direction to clear tables and not get distracted. It is a bit isolated so choice is limited. The Lounge/Bar is also very restricted.
The staff were very nice and helpful. The parking is plentiful and free. Wi fi is good and available throughout.
The bathroom really needs updating. Tiles round basin were not clean and very shabby. Bed wasn't very comfortable, but for three stars it was reasonable value for money and convenient for Exeter.
The hotel was much nicer than a premier inn or equivalent type hotel. The room was extremely comfortable and the decor was modern and very cleann. The shower was superb and there was plenty of storage space and space in the bathroom. The hotel was very close to the motorway and easy to find with plenty of parking. The breakfast was great value and we would definitely stay again
There food in the restaurant was good but not a great deal of choice for vegetarians.
Warm welcome at reception, bar & waiting staff all very friendly. The food was good & value for money. The room was clean & comfortable & very quiet which gave a comfortable nights sleep. :)
The bar & restaurant got a bit warm but not really an issue.
Bar snack food was excellent as was breakfast. Staff very friendly.
Staff we're very friendly nothing was too much trouble. Good quality food and value for money. Shower was superb.
Bed was too hard
Very good value for money. Dinner in the bar was really good and surprisingly inexpensive. Great breakfast. All very comfortable and efficient. Perfect for an overnight stop on the very long drive down to Cornwall.
I was traveling on business hotel was more suited to trip buses and events.
Location, comfort and cleanliness, really good sized room, staff friendly, welcoming and attentive. Breakfast service was really good
Restaurant food was a bit disappointing both in term sod choice and quality, but not overpriced. Breakfast not seved till 7am which meant I had to miss it on my second morning
The facilities and staff were good.
Noisy guests from a wedding booking disrupting sleep by banging doors, talking in corridors and holding telephone conversations in the hallway until 3.00am.
The noisy neighbouring rooms! Doors slammed instead of slowly shutting at 1am.
Friendly staff, clean, comfortable rooms and a good breakfast. Recommended.
The hotel was clean and tidy and included free wifi.
The room was quite small and breakfast was very basic
