location to Westpoint showground and amenities

there was nothing we didn't like. it would have been helpful if breakfast was a little earlier on Saturday as we had to be at Westpoint at 8. However, the packed lunch was lovely.

The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. Venue convenient for road network to Exeter and beyond but the room was quiet. Breakfast good quality and choice. Staff efficient and friendly. Good powerful shower over the bath

Corridor carpet stained and smelled damp. Room was billed as large but smaller than average lodge type chain hotel. Bed only double but comfy. Bathroom beige and pokey (bit 70s) bath very old and small. Tiles tatty

We liked the friendliness and closeness to our event-mg rally

This was the 2nd time we had stayed in the hotel - the 1st having been the previous weekend. This time we had a larger double room costing us more but it was very substandard compared to the double we had the previous week. Bathroom was not as clean and in need of some updating. At breakfast the next morning, there were ants crawling on the table and along the skirting board and the wooden floor. We did mention it to the receptionist who assured us that they hadn't had them before and she would get someone in to try and get rid of them.

Near to agricultural Market in the morning to drive in. no traffic hassle. good car park for car and trailer.

Noise from bathroom fan prevented a good nights sleep. Rang reception at 11.30 pm and again 1am no answer on house phone dialling 0.n left message . Don't believe it was even looked at from comments at check out. My fourth time of staying this was by far my worst time.

Location - easy to get to from motorway. Grand entrance, lovely dining area. Clean rooms and comfy beds. Very fast filling bath and plenty of hot water. Great choices for breakfast and good service.

All rooms are located outside of the main building in a courtyard.

I loved the hotel so clean & tidy friendly staff & best of all a hot english breakfast! Quiet hotel no noise from near buy motorway! Would definatley return

Staff were friendly - food was excellent. Room was very comfortable and relaxing.

Bath towels were a bit rough - would have liked fluffy bath sheets for after our shower.

The receptionist was very friendly.

Bathroom very dated, needs a complete overhaul. Rooms also need soundproofing as people in next door room disturbed us with their shower and their television early in the morning. Also people talking in corridors disturbed us at night. Breakfast was very frugal and not particularly tasty.

We had a very pleasant room and excellant breakfast served by a very efficientt staff.and It was very convenient for Exeter Racecourse wher our family had their caravan.

The only problem we had was the bedside light bulbs were too low so we had to keep the main room lights on to read at night.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was excellent, and the rooms were comfortable.

The dinner menu was a bit sparce, and potato's were raw.We also found the pillows a little bit hard.

the meal on the first night was excellent. As we had early starts on both days they supplied us with a packed lunch.

When we arrived they were going to charge more for the booking than was quoted. Very noisy the first night with group of youngers running wild during the night. To be fair when we reported it they sorted it. Bed was left unmade on second day and the meal was not good.

Exeter Court represents excellent value paricularly when compared to some of the large 'budget'chains.As a regular user I particularly like its motel style allowing your car to be adjacent to your room. The location is excellent being close to all the main west country routes as well as only 10 minutes away from Exeter.The rooms are always clean & comfortable with possibly the best showers you can have (many hotels are not efficient).Overall a well run Hotel with courteous staff many of which have worked there a number of years - always a good sign

Generally a good quality out of town hotel.

One breakfast went awry, egg over cooked and solid centre, should have said something but already had the breakfast plate changed as incorrect order received.

Room decoration, fixtures and fittings are jaded. Side lights to bed with no visible on/off switch. Mattress like a bouncy castle. Carpet soiled, ceiling badly cracked and patched up.
