Breakfast was very poor
Comfy room, nice shower, good tv. Good service in the restaurant
Unfortunately our lamb was tough but they replaced the meals with no fuss and then food was very good
We used this hotel en route to our golfing break. The rooms were very clean an modern, the staff very friendly. There is a nice pub just down the road which serves good food as I am sure does the hotel, Excellent value for money. Perfect for an overnight stop
A liitle bit out of the way
Comfortable, very warm, clean room. No stairs! Lovely bathroom. Excellent breakfast. Umbrella and ironing board with iron in room (nice touch) Safe parking. Bar snacks good value
Comfy bed, very clean, lovely new bathrooms. Food is very competitively priced and a good menu. Parking is excellent and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The ground are very pretty and extremely well maintained.
Rooms are quite small so ideal for one but could be cramped for two people. Chairs in the bar are not comfortable.
Lovely stay, friendly staff, excellent food, room clean and spacious. We stayed in one week twice and the standard was on both occasion very good. Will definitely stay again.
Location is great, if you're going to a wedding at the Haldon Belvedere, or having dinner at the Nobody Inn, like I was - but probably not that good, if you're visiting Exeter. Clean, comfortable accommodation - and free parking – at a fair price.
Unlike other reviewers, I was a bit disappointed by breakfast - unexciting bread and a 'fruit salad' that was mainly orange juice. And the toaster was rubbish at toasting! But the fried eggs on toast were nice. Motel-style accommodation might not appeal to everyone.
Good friendly welcome, clean, parking close to room, meals all very good.Staff very helpful Would strongly recommend.
Just a small niggle, the Wedding party children running around restaurant somewhat annoying.
We were on a family weekend trip and wanted to visit ' creally adventure park' one day and 'paignton zoo' the next, the hotel was in a very good location for travelling to both these places. Also we had our 4 year old son with us who really liked sleeping in the bunk bed .The bar/ restaurant on site meant we could eat and have a glass of wine with our meal and pop back to the room quickly(0nly a few seconds away) when the wee one got bored. Modern clean room and public areas. I did a Lot of searching around before picking this hotel and it was definitely a very good price, would stay there again if in the area.
Not a big issue but could have done with more options for children on the menu.
Room was comfortable and clean, very good shower in modern bathroom. The breakfast was good and all staff we met were very pleasant.
The heating in the bedroom didn't come on until 6.15pm, as the weather had turned very wet and cold, it was rather chilly.
Close to Exeter Race Course and great value for money. Extremely clean and a good breakfast! Have stayed here a few times now. Lower rate bedrooms fairly small but adequate.
Good parking, good shower and bathroom.
Close proximity to racecourse Good food Kind & considerate staff
Lovely little hotel that was clean and friendly
Breakfast could have been better
I loved the staff they could not do enough for you and made up for all that was wrong with the room. excellent stall and excellent meal, quality food and wine, this comes highly recommended. The surrounding area is interesting and worth seeing. They sell good cider in the village
I did not like the room. The towel heater was not working. The radiator in the room did not work. The little cupboard next to the bed was sticky and dirty. The bath room was mouldy behind the taps, and there was mould between the tiles behind the bath taps and round the bathroom, dirty behind the toilet. The tiles were sinking at the back of the taps. There were two different bed lights. The room in general was soiled and not cared for
It was clean and the bed quite comfortable. Fairly small rooms and bathroom with a good over-bath shower. Good breakfast served to your table.
The Wi-Fi did not work anywhere for us. The coffee at breakfast.
Food staff cleanses as we had room that had been done up not all rooms are yet
The location and parking were good - liked being on the ground floor so liked the motel layout. The staff were helpful and friendly.
The first room I was allocated was damp. The bed had a stain on the bottom sheet and several hairs. The second room was better but The bed linen was thin and not ironed. The duvet was heavy - did not feel like a duvet. I observed the inside of the linen cupboard as the door was left open . It was a mess. The breakfast was adequate but nothing special and the order was wrong twice!
Comfy room, cosy and clean. Everything you need is there but basic in design. Bathroom was excellent. Quite interesting to see the planes taking off. I would stay again. My husband left his watch behind. We phoned it was found and mailed back to us.
We did need to keep the windows closed to sleep so it was a little warm. We just laid on the bed and problem solved. Tip: as soon as you arrive, open the window to cool the room as much as possible before you close it for sleep.
Location of hotel was excellent and the rooms were lovely, clean and tidy.
The food in the restaurant was poor. The starter was good but the main course was very poor with tough meat and poor quality vegetables.
The food was ok but not the best we have had.
Comfortable Bed God Breakfast
Room a bit tired Noise from wedding reception unbearable, They took whole place over even though they had their own room. Ruined it for us.
Once again we stayed at the Exeter Court Hotel. Every time we received excellent service from the staff and the room was as comfortable as ever.
good food clean room and friendly staff
