They are so animal friendly !
Proximity to the showground Nice pub next door Clean hotel Good staff Lovely breakfast
Bedroom was clean, smart, quiet, comfortable.
The breakfast was limited in range, consisting of poor quality ingredients and hectic, very much the weakest part of the offering
Clean, comfortable rooms. Free newspaper. Good value overall.
Breakfast was a bit basic, with no bacon. Space in the dining area was a bit limited.
i like pond in the garden
there was some children running upstairs
Staff excellent, cleanliness 10 out of 10, really good nights sleep. The Barn Owl opposite for a meal and the park and ride just across the road. what is not to like?
air con food on site (pub) staff room condition and décor breakfast included free parking Rearranged room type at short notice.
Small food serving/collection area at breakfast. It was busy and food ran out but replacement food slow to appear. Staff seemed overworked, shortage of cups bowls plates as well.
Local to Exeter City, which has a good range of shops and places to eat.
no national papers
Convenient location in modern hotel with breakfast included and friendly staff
You would not be able to walk to any local places of interest, but that was not a problem for us on a one night stopover.
The room and the large screen TV. The staff.
The queuing for the breakfast items.
Convenient access to motorway junction and to family in Heavitree. Room adequate. Innovative design of bathroom with reasonable storage space. Free breakfast, but not the best we have had.
Struggle to use WiFi. Car park is less easy to use with quite tight spaces on fairly steep inclines. On this visit the breakfast area was very busy and staff were struggling to cope
The bar ,the reception staff ,the room
Breakfast poor buffet ,the noisy cleaning staff all talking as they cleaned rooms
Rooms were a very good standard, excellent shower facilities & breakfast included in price. Friendly check in staff, and good parking. Lovely pub next door for a good meal after a long journey.
Pity there was no restaurant on site but a good friendly pub next door.
Reliable - we got what we expected. The location is excellent for us.
Pet friendly, staff helpful and rooms were very clean, liked air con.
Self service breakfast was hectic most of the time, had to hunt around for a clean table.
Staff very helpful, I stayed at the hotel for two nights due to showing the dog at a local dog show, I'm very impressed that the dog is allowed to stay in the hotel and in future will only book holiday inn hotels
Check-in was quick and the staff were very helpful
Too many dogs (or guests with dogs!).
Everything was excellent. Staff were so helpful and the room was very clean and bright. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff especially in the breakfast room.
One small item - Would have preferred a slightly bigger bed. Not a big problem.
Air com set at 19 and far too hot. Window only opened 4 inches. Very uncomfortable night with little sleep
The staff were very pleasant and helpful
Left the window open overnight and got the 'early call'from the early aeroplanes at the airport.
all were first class as was the breakfast
no toilet brush in the lo
The car park was free with plenty of room. The hotel is situated just across the road from a park & ride for travel to the city centre, so the location was ideal.
The bedroom mirror did not have an adjacent electric socket, so not ideal for hair tongs!
Really comfortable bed and clean room. Staff friendly and helpful. Plenty of tea and coffee available. Location was handy for where I needed to be.
Restaurant was across a car park which made me nervous as a solo guest. The food there was awful. They didn't charge me for the pudding as they agreed it was not the best!! (Eton Mess) The air conditioning unit is right next to the bed and very noisy. Kept me awake but it was too hot to be able to turn it off. Breakfast was not the best. Poor choice of cooked food (sausages, scarmbled egg and beans)
