the hotel staff were very friendly and polite and even allowed us to check in early. the location of the hotel, there was a scene of crime set up in yhe moring around the location of the hotel by the police, this was very concerning. The breakfast was average.

Recently refurbished, the rooms were clean and stylish. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice of food available. All public areas of hotel are attractive and in excellent condition. Only negative is that the hotel car-park is out of commission until July 2012. There are secure, underground parking facilities within a 4 minute walk. Tariff £20 for 24 hours.

Perfect location for visit to Stamford Bridge. Superb value for money in London with easy access by tube into the city considering it is a bit further out than I usually stay. Breakfast service better than other Holiday Inn Expresses I have stayed in - items re-plenished immediately when run out.

It was quiet, comfortable, easy to access from the m/a4 and near a tube station. There was parking just behind the hotel with a back door, which made it really easy to empty the car of luggage. The breakfast was very busy, with not really enough space for the numbers of people staying in the hotel.

Everything was very good for a budget hotel and more than adequate. The breakfast buffet bar was not easy to access with trays or even plates. There could have been a greater selection of items to choose from e.g grapefruit and prunes ( there were only orange segments) and bacon and mushrooms would have been nice in addition to the sausage, beans and scrambled eggs. This is not a complaint. The quality and quantity was good and in fairness the breakfast was described differently on various websites as " Continental " or "Buffet with hot items." A genuine offer of an English breakfast would add appeal to the hotel

What I call a straight-forward hotel....no frills but just enough to make stay pleasant and hassle-free. Perhaps management should change breakfast menu to offer different main course daily.....say to alternate dishes...not sausages only on daily basis.

My stay with Holiday Inn Express was excellent. The hotel is very near to the Tube station and the hotel staff were really helpful. Though the room is quite small it could cater to two adults comfortably. The daily breakfast was quite nice with few good varieties.Considering the budget and comfort it is an ideal choice. For travelers on the move there is a compelling need for internet access. The hotel provides no free wi-fi and I find no specific reasons why the hotel charges for wi-fi access and should have considered providing free wi-fi instead as most of the hotels do.

Very clean. Exceptionally courteous staff. Breakfast was a disaster, somewhat akin to a jumble sale: elbows in, grab what you can - not my style. Manners, which cost nothing, in very short supply. If you want any breakfast; get there early!

Rich breakfast, rather silent and calm rooms, comfortable. Helpfull staff. Not far from tubes. Without any warnings I was fully charged 3 weeks before my arrival. On booking.com there was no word about prepayment. Two days before my arrival my card was preauthorised for 20 pounds as a hotel deposit and again with no warnings. As I can see the hotel has its own reservation rules that do not match ones on booking.com.

There are two big problems (warningS) I have ever met. First; Though it is not stated in the policies, my credit card was debitted 18 days before our entrance to the hotel. Second; bed was terrible. I have stayed several times at the hotel but this was the worst I have ever met. If any of us turns around while sleeping, the other also bounces on the bed. I think it is based on spirals and they are really useless. If you have a backbone problem be aware of this hotel

“The staff were fantastic. We arrived at the hotel around 10am after travelling from Australia for 27 hours and they immediately arranged a room for us, so that we could check in early. Breakfast downstairs was fabulous and large variety buffet. Rooms were perfect with all facilities meeting our needs. Right around the corner form Earls Court train station and a great variety of eateries. Thanks Premier Inn for a wonderful stay.” Karla, Rowville |
