Good qulity cheap hotel, well located. The best thing about this hotel is the quality and friendliness of there staff, they were very help full and knowledgable willing to do what every they could to make our stay comfprtable.
Nice room, clean.
No facilities for evening meal
Hotel was very hot no air con
staff very friendly, clean rooms and quiet location
Breakfast very poor. Sausages, beans, toast and croissants, no eggs available. Felt like a school canteen. Mattresses on beds rock hard, very uncomfortable nights sleep.
Handy for the motorway, and no problems parking. No messing about.
Twin room had a small double bed, and a pull down sofa?. It was like sleeping on the floor. Surely a twin should have two proper beds?
Very friendly staff, madeus so welcome. Very much at home, we used to live in Prescot
Nothing to complain about
allocated room for the disabled on arrival even though pre-booked.
Everything was ideal from ordering pizza to be delivered to being able to take ice from a machine up to your room for drinks!
The price was right & the location was right.
Unfortunately there was a coach full of young cheerleaders staying that night which we was not aware of. They put us in a room right on the middle of these girls who ran up & down the hall all night banging on there friends doors. I hardly slept that night. So the long drive back to London was awful. I did ask the lady on reception why she put us in that room, & alls I got was "sorry for that". Anywhere else would have been better.
Would have preferred evening meal availability on weekend.
Friendly and helpful staff. Spacious room. Simple breakfast.
Understaffed - only two ladies on having to manage reception, bar (which they had to close to do banking) and a large group booking (that went wrong) left us waiting 20 mins to check in. Room was too hot, although a fan was provided.
Rooms were good, shower and bathroom. Breakfast choice. Cost.
Location, no sports facilities (gym), also too hot
Excellent friendly staff that could not do enough to help.
Rooms were very hot
Dropped some cloth to the reception for washing, a nice shirt has gone missing!
Very convenient situation close to the motorway but problems with traffic noise. Many very practical touches - we particularly liked the simple shower and readily available wi-fi. The room was a good size, the bed large and comfortable - the choice of pillows was a nice touch as was the positioning of the hairdryer beside the large mirror.
Food seems to be a weak point. The choice at breakfast was limited - one cooked course or continental style. We arrived after 7 p.m. and they had already run out of rice which rather restricted what was available!
Staff really friendly and helpful
Shower not powerful enough
Clean, welcoming. Value.
Breakfast quality was disappointing, but..did not detract from overall value.
The price was good considering the high standard of the hotel
powdered scrambled eggs.
- The Hotel was Good. - Staff was friendly and ready to help every time. - Hotel was clean - Breakfast was good, not many options but the quality was good and there was enough food and drinks every morning
- The location is to far away from the center. It will cost you 15 pounds to get to the center by taxi and offcourse 15 pound back to the hotel. - There was nothing to do nearby the Hotel
Not being told we had to use our debit card as a guarantee we wouldn't trash or damage anything in the room, if we didn't use it we had to leave £60 as a guarentee, didn't like the attitude of the lady on reception
the staff most helpful . the location was good for our needs
All above and particularly the quality of the hotel and the staff
Very friendly staff & modern hotel.
Breakfast options very limited. Bowls, plates & cutlery had dirt on them. You will need a car to get to the centre and back everyday since it is far way from city centre!
The ease of booking in and the friendly staff made our stay pleasurable. Rooms were spacious and clean if a little dated. Breakfast was relaxed and there was ample choice of cereal and drinks. Location was excellent for our needs but not near any shops.
The seats and furniture in the reception and the rooms were very dated and in need of replacement. Breakfast was only let down by the omission of Bacon on the hot plate.
predictable quality accomodation with an adequate breakfast
