We were greeted with a warm reception by the staff when checking in. The one lady was most helpful when we said we needed a taxi that evening to a family party. The breakfast was basic but well cooked and just enough for us. The room was great. It was big, the beds comfy and lovely big white fluffy towels
Nothing really ,apart from no bath in room, but thats just me ,I like a nice soak after a long journey.
A lot of the available down stairs seats etc were occupied by non guests ie visitors taking driving safety course. Car park spaces also filled because of these day visitors.
Stayed for 2 nights...staff were very helpful and room was very clean...free wi-fi was a bonus...overall a very enjoyable stay
the free breakfast was mediocre...the only hot food were beans, scrambled eggs and sausages...surely a better cooked breakfast could be made available...
Staff were friendly and helpful, hotel was close to motorway so good access to the rest of the city.
Bacon could be added to the breakfast, after all breakfast just isn't without Bacon!
every thing was very clean
a lot of noise from some younger guests at around 6.30am
location, friendly staff
lumpy bed noisy bathroom water sysyem room too hot
Inconsiderate guests. Some attention required to decor - curtains hanging down from rails. Evidence of black mildew around shower screen.
The breakfast wasn't very good
Location, Secure Car Park and reception staff were friendly
a bit dated and my feet were black after getting out the shower and walking on the carpet
watched match of the day on the big screen in the bar.
Stayed here 3 out of last 4 weeks and each time check in is diffrent sometimes I paid a deposit and 1 night on arrival sometimes the whole stay and once payed in full on day of booking. Needs set procedures to avoid confusion
Good standard of room, spacious, fair outlook, walk in shower
Maybe another mirror above the desk area. Breakfast coffee from the machine appalling!
Comfort of beds, nice spacious rooms.
Had to make a complaint about toilet and tv nothing done to resolve only excuses. But staff was good enough to give my parents a bottle of wine as a goodwill gesture.
Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms very clean and spacious. Would stay again.
Went out for the day and returned to hotel about 9pm, car park was full. Was told to wait until 9:30pm as there was a conference and people would be leaving then. Had to wait half an hour in car, this was very annoying. Happened again the following night. Did not think this was fair and acceptable considering I was a paying customer and there was no warning of this. This is the only thing that would put me off staying again.
Room with disabled facilities
Being rudely woken at 12.30 A.M. by noisy guests in the next room. My son was so upset by the commotion his carer had to phone my husband and myself in our room to help reassure him. It was a disrupted night for the four of us. We did complain to reception at 1 A.M. and the noise did lesson but unfortunately my son was unable to go back to sleep again, nor did myself or his carer. Subsequently my son was extremely tired and agitated the next morning and did not wish to have breakfast. We decided to abandon our booked trip to Knowsley Safari Park and return home. Reception staff were very nonchalant when we again complained and simply kept repeating there was no note in the book about a complaint to reception at 1.am that morning. Very disappointing indeed.
Good qulity cheap hotel, well located. The best thing about this hotel is the quality and friendliness of there staff, they were very help full and knowledgable willing to do what every they could to make our stay comfprtable.
Nice room, clean.
No facilities for evening meal
Hotel was very hot no air con
staff very friendly, clean rooms and quiet location
Breakfast very poor. Sausages, beans, toast and croissants, no eggs available. Felt like a school canteen. Mattresses on beds rock hard, very uncomfortable nights sleep.
Handy for the motorway, and no problems parking. No messing about.
Twin room had a small double bed, and a pull down sofa?. It was like sleeping on the floor. Surely a twin should have two proper beds?
Very friendly staff, madeus so welcome. Very much at home, we used to live in Prescot
Nothing to complain about
allocated room for the disabled on arrival even though pre-booked.
