Great if your out in city centre.
Doesn't have own car park so had to pay for overnight nearby. Had a twin room, 2nd bed was a sofabed, not exactly comfy....
Wifi not working No parking Room noisy bed unconfortable a bit dirty Cuttlery plates etc very dirty Kettle not working
Good location for where we were going that night, nice clean room with easy check in process. Breakfast ok for freebie
Not much although the lift and some of the decor could be smartened up
Items broken in room, stains on floor, awful smell from shower and lights randomly turned off. Others in party had air conditioning that didn't work. Also no where near enough seating at breakfast at weekends,a couple of my friends had to sit on floor to eat breakfast!
Everything was perfect, and the price was suitable as well it included breakfast which doesn't need to pay extra. I was able to sleep very comfortably.
Everything was clean except the ground, I think it needs more cleaning.
Location is at the city center, fit for those who have minimal time to stay. Though located right next to street but not disturbed by traffic noise. ( from 3 floor)
The room has connecting door with other room, and I can hear TV sound from the next room quite well. Apart from that everything is very good.
The great location & price
Easy check in. Comfortable bed / pillows. Clean rooms. Great city location but not noisy.
Everything was fine. Small thing prefer bacon rather then sausage and there wasn't any! But still have lovely breakfast.
The wall seemed thin and I could hear the person next door talking on the phone very clearly.
Loved the location
It didn't smell very fresh, had minimal tea and coffee supplies in the room and we were a bit disappointed with the breakfast
Good value for money Ideal location for the Arena and shopping. Basic, but all the essentials you require for a short stay.
Breakfast was a little disorganised and untidy
room was nice.
my key stopped working at lease 4 times, I could not connect to wifi. breakfast was a bit disappointing.
I have stayed in the Holiday Inn twice. In truth, it couldn't be a more convenient location. The first time I stayed there, I turned on the hair dryer, one of those stuck to the wall toy type ones, and it literally went on fire in my hand. A ball of flames puffing through the centre of it. Luckily I packed my own. The receptionist said she would see to it....it was like that for the duration of my stay. Putting that down to, things just happen like that in a three star, I stayed again. Apparently house keeping had just been in. I went to bed for a while. I woke up and decided to shower. I moved something and suddenly I was being chased around the bathroom by what looked like a huge cockroach. It could also have been a mouse though as I have never seen such a big cockroach. Disgusting. Again the receptionist was totally dismissive and said it was something silly. I demanded to be moved to another room. I will never return to the Holiday Inn.
The room was big and spotless
Staff were very helpful when we asked for some more time before vacating our room to prepare for the Graduation. Also no problem in getting an iron and ironing board from staff.
Good central city location close to main activities
Changed room due to poor a/c. Requested twin bed but got a double due to lack of other alternative rooms.
good position for central Nottingham comfy rooms air conditioning a god send as it was so hot at the time staff very considerate
busy hotel but could do with a team of cleaners to give it a good clean especially the main stair case and a new carpet
Brilliant stay prefect spot dead in middle of centre.
Parking driving around in circles trying to find your recommended parking spot. And calling the hotel to be given the wrong postcode
central for city centre
breakfast very poor.overcrowded and dirty crockery everwhere do not recommend
We requested a twin room - what we got was one double bed and one camp bed!! Why advertise twin rooms when you can't deliver. The camp bed was most uncomfortable and very noisy!! Very unsatisfactory. There were also lots of power cuts while we stayed there.
Staff very friendly
Breakfast was very poor
kettle didn't work, toilet seat kept slipping and hurt my back, something nasty looking smeared on bedroom wall, had to wait half an hour in the morning to have a shower as there was no electric and I could not see, went to breakfast still couldn't have a drink as the electric went off again
Hotel is in an ideal location to enable you to walk to bars, restaurants etc. The rooms are a decent size. The breakfast was good value for money.
We got back to the room at 2.30 am and it was really hot. The air conditioning wasn't working.
